After messaging the shop on instagram I made an appointment for my daughter to get a nose piercing for her 14th birthday. It was easy and fast to get an appointment. Staff were super friendly and explained to us what to expect. My daughter didn't even flinch and it was done very quickly. Came back in about 4 weeks later to get the piercing switched over to a smaller one and it was just as easy to walk in and get fast help. Very satisfied with my experience here. Willy Chen is a skilled artist. He is honest and will provide great advice to help you end up with the right tattoo for you. I went in for a cover up, but I allowed him to come up with an enhancement and it crushed it! My old piece is crisp and new and surrounded by beautiful accents. Willy says that he does not like to do floral work, but he is damn good at it! The shop is clean, he is professional and a genuinely nice guy which is a bonus given the time that you spend with an artist. Highly recommended! read more

I found Tattoo Galaxy on a google. I was looking for a tattoo/ear piercing shop because for over 20yrs I've suffered from severe chronic daily migraines. I had heard that some migraine sufferers have gotten daith piercings, all w good results. I figured why not, I've tried everything else. I called & spoke to Mike. He was very kind & told me he had success w migraine sufferers. I felt comfortable talking to him as he described the piercing, how & why it works, etc. I went Wed 5/17/17. It hurt, I'm not going to lie but talked to me throughout the whole piercing which helped a lot. Believe it or not the migraine pain went down to a ache. It was AMAZING! I was a little worried today, now Sun, because the piercing was still sore so I called. Mike spent about 10 mins answering every question I had. You could tell he really cared by his tone & that meant a lot to me. Since it seems to be working, as soon as my piercing heals I'm going back to get my other ear done. Along w a tattoo. read more

I went to Tattoo Galaxy yesterday and delt with Will. Super nice when I walked in as I just wanted something simple to celebrate the passing of my father. A purple petunia with my fathers initals was all I wanted. About 6 inches on my wrist total. The only thing to choose was the font. After putting the stencil on my wrist I told him that i wanted.the initals facing me and that it was not centered on my wrist. Will then said I can do this and asked me.to leave. What kind of business does that? Being in customer service my whole.life I was floored that he would not correct something that was going to permanently be on my body for the rest of my life. Mike the manager is a great guy who does amazing work. My fiance and I both got a tattoo of our 16-year-old cat's paw print so we could always have him with us (we sadly had to put down in May). Working from an ink print, Mike drew up a stencil and had us both done in under 2 hours. The time just flew by because of how easy it was to hold a conversation with him. He paid such close attention to detail too, just to make sure our tattoos matched our fluffy son's paw as close as possible. Fast forward about two weeks after getting our tattoos and some of the ink didnt take all the way on mine (due to my skin type). I talked with Mike about touching it up and he didnt even hesitate, fitting me in the next day! Afterwards all is well and we love our tattoos. The entire experience was very enjoyable. Our tattoos have really been helping us with our grieving and its all thanks to Mike. read more

A couple years back I decided to try this tattoo studio. I just wanted simple wording, two sentences written on my back left shoulder. Within one day of getting this tattoo the ink was pushed in so hard that it completely bled and the wording was fuzzy. Tried to call, get my money back, something to fix it. If I could leave a review with no stars, I would. I had my tragus pierced there by Mike in November. I was very happy at first, but after his recommended "month of cleaning once or twice a day" (please... not long enough) it still wasn't healing well and was still pretty sore. I continued cleaning it (twice a day) until probably about mid-March. It finally started to look and feel okay. Recently, it has been sore and I tried cleaning it once a day for a week or two to no avail...it was still sore and getting pretty red. I wound up going to another shop (Valor in Feasterville) to have someone take a look at it. The piercer there told me it wasn't pierced right to begin with... it was pierced at an angle instead of straight through and wasn't even in the cartilage. It was starting to move toward the outside of my tragus and only had a thin layer of skin holding it in...and this was yesterday. I had him remove it. Turns out Mike didn't know what he was doing in November! Great! Thanks for making me an experiment without my knowledge AND letting me pay you, TIP YOU for it...totally awesome! He was nice enough, but I have no respect for someone who is trying to learn a service or trade and isn't upfront about that. Mike - go apprentice somewhere if you want to pierce. Get certified. TELL PEOPLE THAT YOU'RE STILL LEARNING. Most will understand and be patient with you. Once my poor tragus heals, I will be going to Valor Tattoo and working with Phil. Save yourself the trouble. OH, if you're thinking maybe that it was just me who had a bad experience let me give you a bit more insight; think of this as three reviews in one! The night I got my tragus done, I was with two of my friends who were also getting piercings. One friend was getting a simple second hole in her ear lobes. He had some trouble with that. She ended up taking them out after a few months because they weren't healing properly. The other friend wanted her nose re-pierced, and he had a hard time with that too. He couldn't get the needle through and she walked out pissed off and with no nose ring. TL/DR: go somewhere else, anywhere else. read more
