I had…read morejust ended a 2-day conference where I was on my feet all day in heels and sorely needed a foot massage. I called this place and they were ready to take me in 15 minutes. when I arrived, they asked for payment upfront. this is highly unusual and nowhere else that offers any kind of service (spa, salon, etc.) takes payment upfront. this should've been my first clue that clients often dispute the charges, so this is why they take it before the service. when i entered the massage area, I realized that you dont get your own room, and your massage bed is not partitioned, so its. shared room with about 10 beds. what ended up happening is that the guy next to me fell asleep and snored very loudly the ENTIRE time of my massage. obviously this prevents any sort of relaxation. so, effectively my massage was ruined. I could not ignore it and it was so so annoying to have to listen to. as far as my masseuse, there were a couple issues there too. first, the entire time he focused on the center section of my foot, he did not touch the toes or the heel. this place advertises itself as reflexology, and the toes are a major part of that. so that was extremely disappointing and I could've really used that part of the foot massage. if youre going to have a one-hour massage focused only on the feet, you have to do the ENTIRE foot, I felt like this is just obvious. however, I couldn't communicate with him at all as he doesnt speak english. second, he used SO much lotion, my feet felt like they were swimming in a swamp during the entire massage. it was horrible, and he couldnt get any real traction because of the insane amount of lotion. finally, at the end I tipped him about 13%, because I felt like he tried his best, however the overall environment there, plus his skills, was lacking. as we walked out, he walked through the door into the lobby and let it close in front of my face rather than holding it open for me. when I entered the lobby, the receptionist asked me how the service was. I told him about the snoring. he did not apologize, but instead said he could discount my service but could I please tip the masseuse more, since that wasn't his fault. then I explained the issue with the masseuse. he sad he would talk to him about it, and didn't end up discounting my service. this is the first time EVER in my entire life i have had someone ask me to tip more. not at any restaurant, bar, salon, spa, etc. has anyone ever said that, because it's common social etiquette that you NEVER ask for more tip, ESPECIALLY when you're told that there's a problem with the experience and/or service. this blew my mind that the masseuse ran to the receptionist right away to complain about his tip. and still no one apologized to me! needless to say, I will never come back!!

You're in the same room, but 2 separate beds. One suggestion is to make the beds closer together for the couples Massage room to cultivate closeness with your partner. My friend and I have gotten a few massages from here and they have been generally good. We both found Sasha to be the most experienced and the best provider at this establishment. That being said, our past and now last visit, was concerning. Our masseuses, Lisa & Sophia had us for 90 minutes and the entire time I was lying on the bed, I was just counting the minutes until the massage was over. I've never had this happen. I have gotten massages everywhere and of course some therapists are better than others, some more experienced and some just flow better with my preferences. Massage on the Beach has generally been on the better side so we were shocked and disappointed during our last visit. There were a few minor inconveniences but the biggest problem was the lack of attentiveness during the massage. Lisa was my masseuse and from the beginning, I sensed she was either unhappy, upset, annoyed or just having an off day. To clarify, she was not rude or impolite towards me specifically, just... off. I didn't have a great feeling from the start. I've had massages where the pressure or specific body part hurts just a little more than I'd like - I specifically tell therapists to avoid my legs because they're hypersensitive - but eventually once the soreness wears, you feel incredibly loose and much better. This wasn't the case here. Harder pressure but slow, coordinated hand motions are pretty much how a normal massage goes. Lisa was essentially jack-hammering my body, almost as if in a rush to get through the 90 minutes. Multiple times I asked her to lighten up on the pressure and she would, then move onto the next body part and resume the extreme pressure and speed. At one point, I gave up asking and just prayed it would be over soon. After my massage, I felt incredibly dis-regulated - the kind of feeling you get after puking - some relief that the pain is over, however, the uneasy queasiness comes with it as well. I don't particularly consider myself an overall anxious person but I was extremely anxious afterwards. In my extremely uncomfortable state, I managed to find some courage and told reception how awful I felt. She was apologetic and offered me a 50% discount and advised if I still felt the need to request a larger discount or complimentary service I should reach out again via phone or email. Life happened and some time passed and I kept procrastinating reaching out then finally found some time to reach out - about a few weeks later. Sent a detailed email with both mine and my friends shared experience - she had the exact same grievances with her masseuse, Sophia, which we found oddly coincidental seeing as we were with two separate masseuses, in two separate rooms, and they both managed to give us the same careless service. Management sent a very corporate-speak email a few days later and I felt it lacked empathy for our experience especially being two members of their service. They ultimately advised that no additional refunds, complimentary services, or other accommodations would be offered. My massage was discounted at the time of the complaint, but my friend paid in full plus tip and did not receive any adjustment. We will be going back to our old massage spot. Closer and cheaper and never had any masseuse take our their frustrations on our bodies there. I genuinely wish this would have been handled differently because we've had generally much better experiences here.

I love a good resort spa massage on vacation, but even the nicest of spas can't compare to this. I've been a regular here for almost 8 years, and the Swedish/thai combo is my go-to. Nikki has a way of listening to what your body needs without you even having to say anything. She reacts and adjusts based on what she observes. I always leave feeling stretched and relaxed. Since then, I've started getting the 1-hour Classic Massage, which is a head-to-toe massage for only $45. Even better, the price is the same whether you pay with cash or card, and they accept mobile payments. I actually have a membership at another local massage spa, but I come here when my regular massage therapist isn't available or when I simply don't want to pay the much higher price. At this point, I'm seriously considering canceling my membership and just coming here instead. A few things to know before you go: This is not a private, quiet, luxury spa experience. The massage area is open, you are next to another massage bed, and you can hear people moving around or talking. If complete privacy and silence are important to you, this may not be the right fit. But if your priority is getting a genuinely good, affordable massage, Divine Foot Spa is absolutely worth checking out. They're usually busy, which I take as a good sign, but I've often been able to get a same-day appointment as long as I don't wait until too late in the day to call. For the quality and price, this place is hard to beat. I've had a great experience every time and highly recommend giving them a try--especially if you're looking for a good massage without the high-end spa price tag. I'll definitely keep coming back!
