With a giant rain and wind storm coming the next day, Nancy called and actually arranged to have Gus Anax do the repair ON A SUNDAY AFTERNOON so that I would not have to deal with the damage that was sure to ensue! I was amazed to have come across a company that actually cares, especially to this extent, about a potential customer! I have never before had the pleasure of such kind professionals working with me in so attentive a manner before. The repair was done, and I was able to sleep soundly through the storm rather than watching my ceiling collapse! The shower door now appears to be out of alignment. The receptionist, who is very sweet and considerate, asked me to video the closing and opening of the door and I sent it to her on 07/29/2026. I have called countless times since, and spoken with the receptionist, and other associates who answer the phone without success. I have been promised countless times that they are going to send someone to take care of the issue. They never call me back or send anyone. The amount of phone calls, in addition to stopping by the office location personally amounts to enough time and effort spent on my part trying to get them to come and address my issue. They really have disappointed me. I had written a beautiful review after the initial install and now regret doing so. Knowing that it is a family owned and operated business, I would certainly expect better customer service. I called again just yesterday, spoke with a man and explained to him that I was supposed to be hearing back from Shamus as to when he could come. It was explained to me that Shamus is the owner's son, so he should clearly understand the importance of good customer service. Shamus got on the phone with me just yesterday, and abruptly said, "I never told you I was coming today. He went on to say, "I have to coordinate a truck, and I will get back to you with a date and time." I asked again, so you will be calling me back? He said, "yes." He really annoyed me when he said, I never told you I was coming today. The true fact is I was told during countless phone conversations with the office receptionist that she would be sending someone. I have been given this same answer countless times and nobody ever calls back and nobody ever comes. It is a rude and inconsiderate way to run a business. I am not sure that Howie, the owner is still actively involved in the business, but he clearly should know the lack-luster attitude towards customers who are in need of a repair. The only asset is the receptionist. She is very kind and considerate.

And also why am I paying someone to come see a job and talk about paying them more? And secondly, they quoted me 16,600 to build a 6ft wall and doorway in my (finished) basement, and hang 4 doors (which they decided they wanted to make smaller and take apart in a pretty much finish basement.... Which is pretty obscene. I've done a lot of work in past so it's pretty high up there. Would've given zero stars if I could, but one star would only be for the gentleman who showed up (and just works for the company and doing his job) was very nice and personable and also seemed knowledgeable. And I'm sure he is not the one making this huge upcharges in work. But overall I wouldn't recommend and also felt it was weird and sneaky to charge me after the estimate 80 dollars to come to my house to talk about the job. The company should be paying their workers for their time, or have them disclose and ask for the payment when they arrive so I could have the opportunity to decline.
