Like I said in the previous review; it's like they were moving their own furniture. One of their truck's is across the street, moving someone out of the complex. It's not unusual to see someone moving; most of the time it's with U-Haul. I'm watching the movers bringing the people's furniture out of the building. Everything seems to be wrapped in plastic to keep it from getting wet and damaged. The guys are working fast. I don't know the family. I do know they'll be happy with the service they get from Triangle Movers. I hope they do a Yelp review.

They then brought our stuff up to Catskill and loaded it into our house, and this was not an easy move, yet they remained cheerful and upbeat, even taking a bunch of heavy things up to the attic. Packed up furniture with care, no damage to furniture or walls to the appt (large heavy wooden antique breakfront had to be manuvered down an old Victorian stairwell. Sal and his team are friendly, respectful and professional. Sal not only makes sure everything runs smoothly, taking no short cuts on the safety of property, he is right there with his team helping (assembling/disassembling, wrapping and carrying the furniture and boxes. Pricing is reasonable; however, no credit cards are welcomed so make sure you have cash. It is without hesitation that I recommend Sal's Freight Carrier.

The truck drivers who loaded and unloaded my container were excellent--they answered all of my questions, provided clear timelines, and kept me updated with calls when they left the unit and when they arrived at my home. Their communication was always on point. The only downside was that my container was extremely dirty, almost as if it had been used to transport charcoal. Because of this, I strongly recommend wrapping items in blankets and stretch wrap to prevent them from getting stained. Unfortunately, my mattress cover was ripped during the move and ended up with black marks. Overall, the professionalism and communication stood out, but I do wish the container had been in better condition.

This is a guy who rents trucks, pulls kids out of class as a crew and says he can conduct out of state packs and moves. He absolutely cannot. He's a smooth talker and very charming but is chaotic, unreliable and shady. He never showed up for a scheduled walkthrough, did not show up to pack as quoted and tried to tell me that I rescheduled my own move to the following month. After days of unanswered texts and calls before a 6 thousand dollar quoted move he finally responded and acted like everything was all good. He then arrived 3 hours late and one man short and you can imagine how to move went after that. And of course he tried to charge me the same rate as he quoted me with a 4 man crew when he only had 3. Maybe he can help you with quick small moves around town. But do not pay a premium rate for amateur service.

Made the appointment for noon today, paid via Square. They didn't show, phone is disconnected and website is all garbled now.
