This FedEx is in a good location but they do not have the greatest service. They are located off of 17 K down and industrial Parkway. I do recommend taking a GPS if it's your first time coming here because there are a lot of trucking businesses in the industrial Parkway. My dad drops things off twice a week at this location for work. if there is one tip that I can give anybody coming here is make sure that you have all of your stuff labeled and prepared make sure it's all set to go if you're just dropping whatever you are shipping. The staff here is not very good and sometimes they do seem like they get very annoyed when you come in and you have to get a box that fits the package etc. I would not recommend shipping a big box out of this location unless you want to deal with unpleasant staff. Overall this FedEx is in a great location it's in the same area as Stewart airport but the staff is basically nonexistent and not helpful at all. EVERY package I received with a large item, furniture, bathroom vanity, etc., has arrived damaged since moving to my new home. What ALL these deliveries have in common is FEDEX. I have on camera, a delivery guy with a bathroom vanity in a box over his shoulder, tossing it onto the ground so hard. This review is about the Montgomery location. I've lived in the same house for over 25 years and NEVER had any problems with USPS or UPS concerning deliveries. For the past 5 years I've had major problems with every single delivery from FEDEX in Montgomery NY. The packages are either damaged, delayed or outright not delivered. One of their drivers smashed into my rock wall. I've called the direct number to the Montgomery office and NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE. I've filed numerous complaints for the past several years with the BBB, FTC and FEDEX. IT DOES NOT HELP. Because of FEDEX's incompetence many businesses have to eat the losses. A package was supposed to be delivered yesterday at the door. The driver (who is too lazy to give a damn about his job to bother to knock) does NOT knock on the door and leaves with the package with the excuse that "no one answered because a signature is required". A signature was NOT required from the company but then again how would we even know the driver is there when HE DID NOT EVEN KNOCK? What is it TOO COLD? You signed up for this job for whatever reason- to feed yourself, your family or kids. Wear the proper winter clothing, take responsibility in this job and KNOCK. FedEx is the delivery service used by an online vendor (Blinds.com). FedEx 'delivered' Part 1 of my Blinds.com purchase on June 13th, 2022. The driver erroneously left a package for another client (with an entirely different name and address) on MY FRONT STOOP. Fortunately, I was home and was able to track him down to tell him of the error. As he retrieved the package, he then realized my Blinds.com goods were still on his truck. Had I not been home to catch the problem before it became another work item for me..... !! On June 17th, 2022 FedEx 'delivered' the second part of my order and left the packages against my garage door at the base of my driveway. As opposed to leaving the packages at the front door, under a weather protective overhang as the first driver did, the June 17th driver dumped the packages at the garage because it was easier and quicker for him. This generation of FedEx delivery staff is lazy and seeks to do that absolute minimum. I am recovering from a recent heart attack and was left with the prospects of carrying the packages in myself or leaving them outside in the elements. What if I were severely disabled or otherwise unavailable...what if a flash storm had occurred??? I lodged a complaint with FedEx's customer support at 1.800.GoFedEx 1.800.463.3339. I told the nice lady I wanted the driver to return, retrieve the packages at my garage, and bring them to the front door as he should've in the first place. After a Fed-Ex driver from the Newburgh distribution center drove over my flowers beds TWICE last year, I found it necessary to pay Fed-Ex a visit in person. Of course, the gentleman that I met with was very apologetic and assured me he would reprimand the driver (yeah, right) and he gave me a compensation form to fill out to cover my losses. But, In order to be compensated for my "losses" I would need to provide proof of the damages. I get that, but how in the world are you supposed to account for the cost of plants that you planted a couple of years ago? The point is not that I want them to reimburse me for the cost of the plants that were damaged and destroyed (not to mention my time/labor), but I just want the incompetent driver to STOP DRIVING OVER MY PLANTS, numb-nuts!!! I received an e-mail today saying my package had been delivered. I had been sitting in my front room waiting for the package. No one approached the front door; no one approached the side door. I was frantic, as this was a very expensive item, and I feared it had been delivered to the wrong address. For some inexplicable reason, there was no signature required, so all the tracking said was that it had been delivered to my address. On a whim, I walked out to my mailbox. Sure, enough, there it was sitting in my mailbox. Do you know it's a federal offense for anyone other than a USPS employee to put something in my mailbox? This happened once before, about 2 years ago, and I complained. I was told that the drivers were not authorized to leave things in mailboxes and that he/she would be spoken to. Let me start off by saying today topped it off as the driver delivered my package all smashed & a nasty note written on the box stating I need to clear my driveway! Wow... so I went here 15 minutes before closing. The lady angrily greeted me with "don't show up here 10 minutes before closing". She must have said this 3 more times within 5 minutes and hurried me out the door. 5 weeks later, the package gets damaged then returned to me. I file a claim and it got denied stating it wasn't packaged properly? It was actually packaged nicely and shouldn't have got damaged unless someone mishandled it. Twice this month I didn't get my pickup on Saturdays on time. As it was blood and urine samples, and HIPPA was an issue, I couldn't just leave it out for the driver. I tried calling the Customer Service Center, but that is liked getting sucked out into the vacuum of cold space and dying, so I finally talked to my local driver. He stated there is a new system now, styled after Amazon delivery systems, (wait, wasn't FEDEX on the scene long before Amazon?) that tells drivers, they have to go turn by turn and follow the computer instructions exactly during their route. So my pickup is from 900 am to 100 pm on Saturdays, and the new guy gets to my place of business at 2:30 to 3:00, long after me and my package , is gone. My regular weekly driver states that he has been doing this for 30 years, and he'll be damned if he's going to listen to a computer dictate his every move. He knows when I close and he gets there. I had company bonus checks printed Tuesday and paid the extra fee to have them delivered next day. They made it to the FedEx facility in Newburgh, NY Wednesday morning. The tracking shows the were on a truck at 9:21 am, next line says it is still there. FedEx delivered to my office Wednesday but not the next day parcel. Tracking shows it at Newburgh facility with no scheduled delivery date. When I called help line I spoke with someone in another country who could not answer any of my questions except to say it was weather related. I informed him that FedEx delivered to my office Wednesday, my parcel was due by Wednesday at 4:30 pm, snow storm started here at 5 pm, nice try. Next time I will request UPS, FedEx sucks! read more

A month ago they delivered my girlfriends package to the wrong apartment in my complex, although the dress on it was correct. my jerks of neighbors decided to keep open and try on the item before returning it to me, so it wasn't totally the drivers fault. more recently 4/17 I ordered from a company and paid extra for shipping and was supposed to receive the item from Fedex on the 19th. then it got changed to 4/22, and now its 4/23. They are the worst, the only thing that is consistent with them is the disappointment of them delivering an item on time. I just want to know how a company can suck so hard. read more

This is a follow up to my previous review: Jan. 7, 2018 Today at about 2:30 pm, a neighbor that lives down the road, who I have never met, knocked on my door and handed me a box that was delivered to his home by mistake. The box has my address on two labels and was obviously left out in the rain and snow for almost two months. This box contains the glass for my stove that I ordered on November 12th, 2017. Fed Ex said that their driver came back to my home to make sure that he delivered my package to the correct address. Checked on status Thursday, only to discover that the Newburgh office was claiming there was no delivery address nor any way to get in touch with me. Over the years FedEx has gone from a top company to one that I will no longer use or recommend. Their service in past years had been impeccable however this is no longer true. It appears they now refuse to walk to front doors to deliver an item but either toss it on the driveway or leave it under the mailbox which is located at the end of the driveway. This can obviously cause some problems especially if it is snowing and a plow comes by and there goes the package. In my case it was found by the storm drain with 50 pages of paper work inside which were now drenched and useless. This was an overnight package sent to me with very sensitive materials. I don't know what these other people are talking about. I had a package leaving VA and I live in NY. When I found out it wasn't scheduled to be delivered one day past what i was promised by the sender, I started to panic because I was leaving the country on the delivery date. When I called the FedEx Newburgh location they put a hold on the package for me and even called when it arrived. Instead of waiting an extra day to have it delivered, I was able to pick up my package a day early. You can't put a price on that. read more
