5/22/25 - It's raining today. Five years ago just before Covid I moved from one town up here to another. I had Triangle Movers to the job. They were excellent. Like I said in the previous review; it's like they were moving their own furniture. One of their truck's is across the street, moving someone out of the complex. It's not unusual to see someone moving; most of the time it's with U-Haul. I'm watching the movers bringing the people's furniture out of the building. Everything seems to be wrapped in plastic to keep it from getting wet and damaged. The guys are working fast. I don't know the family. I do know they'll be happy with the service they get from Triangle Movers. I hope they do a Yelp review. read more

These guys are pros, on time, on schedule, no over promising, on target suggestions. Would definitely use on our next move.

Update from my previous review from 3 years ago. Nothing was done about my broken and missing items. All this time I went back and forth with them and they never made good. They gave one excuse after another. When you pay $10,000 to have your stuff moved out of state, you don't expect to have your stuff, stolen and broken and your outdoor furniture disassembled and laying on your front lawn in a heap. few weeks ago i moved locally with with triangle. this was my 10th move as my profession dictates. i must say jacks comapny did a bang up job his crew is exceptional taking good care as not to damage anything.very responsive in finding few missing items. if there is an 11tg\th move in my future would not hesitate to engage them again. william taylor read more

Triangle was great! We did a FaceTime inventory with Jack to get our estimate. And Kyle, Eder, Vince and Shawn did an amazing job packing and loading our household up for a long distance move. They were professional, efficient, and fun - perhaps the best experience we've had with movers. I don't move very often, but I was floored by the price. YIKES! BUT these guys are the real deal. They're professionals, they're not seasonal workers. They're smart and take their time. Even though they take their time that doesn't mean they are slow. Pretty quick and pretty positive crew. I had 7 different guys over a 2 day move. I think these guys are all friends and work well together. Experts to select to move on or off West Point. My friend recommended them and I'm recommending them. These guys are great my only reservation is the price, but it is what it is. The price might be worth it for piece of mind. Good business. We just finished our move and Triangle Movers lived up to their excellent reputation. The move was done quickly yet very well. The team was well trained and worked well together as a team, and to a person, each member of the team (7 men) were friendly and showed great care and concern for our household goods. I moved apartments at the end of August and all I can say is I would hire Triangle Movers 10 more times if I had to. 2-3 weeks before the move, they gave me a quote via zoom (due to COVID I assume or maybe they've always done that) and that number did not change weeks later after the move. They were on time, professional, brought me extra boxes which I ended up needing. Wrapped valuables in blankets, wrapped furniture in plastic. They moved me UP to a 3rd floor apartment with no elevator obviously. I was moved OUT and IN to my new place in less than 3 hours. I can't even explain how grateful I am for them. Nothing damaged, not a scratch. Put all my furniture exactly where I asked them to. I could go on and on. Please message me if you need any further convincing. read more

We had a surprise after 700 miles move with a 6' by 6' crate containing a family heirloom. The storage facility gave us and the movers bad information on the phone. They could not accommodate the crate after assuring us they could. Mr. Jackson the truck driver found a suitable storage facility close by and the movers were very professional and stayed with the job until I was happy. They treated me like family. read more

Triangle movers did a great job. They took great care of our stuff. The guys worked extremely hard. Triangle Movers actually held our stuff in their truck for 13 days because of our house closing being delayed. Their price was great compared to three other estimates received. We moved out of state. My stuff is missing, my stuff is broken. My stuff was not put together and just thrown in a heap on my front lawn. The guys who picked up my stuff seemed friendly, however, the guys who delivered my stuff were altogether different. They didn't put my boxes in the rooms I indicated on the boxes. They didn't put my bed together. not putting the screws into the bed frame and mattress supports. When I laid in it, it fell apart. ​ My tools and Garden tools are missing. My blankets and expensive down pillow is missing. My husband's expensive L.L. Bean shirts and his toiletries are missing. My good Nordic Ware fancy pans are missing. And my mixing bowls. My artist supplies are missing, 3 easels are missing. My art is my bread and butter. I had made a log of all of my items, numbered the boxes and wrote on them which rooms they go in. I checked off each box as I unpacked them and I have boxes missing. As I was moving from NY to FL, my stuff was on the truck for some time. When my stuff was picked up in NY, they weren't able to get the big 18 wheel truck down my small road so they had to use several smaller trucks which then went back to the depot to be loaded onto the bigger truck. Between all of the moving around, my stuff disappeared. The men who delivered my stuff to me in FL, were tired and in a big hurry to go home. They put most of the boxes in my garage and kitchen. They only put together the outdoor swing and the rest of the stuff they threw in a heap on my front lawn. One chair had screws taped to it, the rest doesn't have any any. My good $20 a piece goblets, picture frames, antique dishes are broken. My expensive antique green carnival glass deviled egg dish is missing. I have been contacting them since October 2022. I just now, February 2023 received some paperwork to fill out from their insurance people. I will update when I find out what they intend to do or if they do anything. read more

I just hired Triangle movers for a move and I had the most wonderful experience. I also explained my concern with the Coronavirus and all workers use hand sanitizer before the start of the move which they did. From the start of the move they protected floors, railing and front door which was awesome. They also wrapped every piece of furniture, mirrors, lamps, mattresses and disassembled beds and table then reassembled at the new house. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family and use them again in the future. read more

The movers and packers were polite and on time. We had a large amount of effects to be moved and by the end of the day, they were in a hurry and careless. When we unpacked, we had more than $1000 of damage to our household effects. The insurance was willing to pay $0. read more

Had the pleasure of dealing with Shawn, Bobby and Stevie when we moved from Harriman to Warwick back in January (sorry, been busy would've wrote the review sooner) . These guys were top notch, quick and most importantly careful with our belongings. They treated my property like their own by putting cardboard/ drop clothes on my hardwood floors. Something as small as that means a lot. They took apart the beds and put them back together with no issues. I highly recommend this company and ask for these 3 guys if you want it done the right way. We used Triangle Movers to move from Beacon, NY to Newburgh, NY in November. It's not a big move-only a couple of miles apart- but we did need to move an entire house- 2 bedrooms, office, studio, dining, living, and kitchen and were extremely happy with the service from Triangle Movers- specifically Vince and Jon. They arrived on time, were very professional and packed everything with a lot of care. They were also very friendly and got the job done as quickly as could be expected. We recently needed to move some heavy bedroom furniture out of our house to be picked up for donation. It was a full room of furniture and all very heavy and large. There was no way we could have done this on our own so we contacted Triangle Movers. Jack was awesome! Not only did he send over someone within a short amount of time, because we were donating the furniture, he offered to do the move at a ridiculously reasonable rate. His guys (Vince and another man, sorry for his name!) were friendly, fast and efficient. They were in and out of our home within 45 minutes even moving another dresser and bed back upstairs for us. I can't thank Jack enough, and would highly recommend his company and his staff. It isn't often you get this type of service and having dealt with other movers before, I know it's even more rare to find this type of service in the moving industry. We were so impressed by our experience with Triangle Movers. The owner was very good about coming out to see what we were moving and work up a quote. We weren't moving far, but it was clear this wasn't a job we could do ourselves. The two workers showed up on time, were super nice and extremely careful about protecting all the items going out of our old house and into our new home. They made a stressful situation into a positive experience. There were a few bigger items that I wasn't sure could be easily moved, but they were clearly experienced and quickly figured out a plan.
