They fixed our problem super quick by jumping the condenser but told us that that it was a temporary fix and they didn't know how long it would last. I asked for a quote for a completely new condenser unit. After some research their price seemed very fair. They responded quickly and were out installing by Monday or Tuesday. Installation, including moving the condenser further away from the house's gas line took less than a day. They even came back later to change out the thermostat to a more modern one. We were trying to get a smart thermostat but we didn't have the C wire which the thermostat needs for constant power. They tried more than one solution and were there for hours. Unfortunately they couldn't make it work. But I was happy with the effort and it showed they cared about the service they were providing.

I had no pre-existing issues with my hot water tank but accepted the service because one of my toilets were flushing a little awkwardly. The servicer arrived and spent almost 2 hours tinkering with my hot water heater and didn't inspect anything else until I requested that he did so before leaving. Before leaving he then directed me to a part of my water tank that started leaking as a result of the work he did. He informed me that it should likely stop once the water in the tank heats up again or that he could replace it for around $600. Here we are now 5 days later and the water hasn't stopped dripping and I must constantly monitor and dump a bowl of water which I am not always available to do and as a result, a stream of water is now flowing through my basement and coming to rest around my finished sections. I was also quoted $350+ to replace a fill valve which was causing an unrelated issue with one of my toilets; the part is $15 on Amazon and is as simple as unscrewing and screwing in. I've immediately cancelled my membership and would caution anyone looking for membership perks that this is not the one you want to choose. If they had any integrity they would offer to fix the issue not charge $600 for an issue that did not previously exist or suggest that I replace a whole unit that was working fine before it was tinkered with.

The plumber who came out today was very nice but missed an issue that I pointed out to him. He did have his Master Plumber that was hiding in the truck (? Seemed odd haha) come take a look. There was some estimate issues leading me to think the installation of a toilet would be $1,000 for labor alone. However, the owner was quick to rectify and look into the issue personally once he became aware, and was very open to feedback on how to make the estimates more clear. I would still like to see them itemize the cost of materials in the future, but it seems to be something at least on his radar. I would give this company a chance if you're having issues. They seem to truly want to do the right thing by the customers and their employees, which is important.

On the phone I was informed that there would be an "evaluation service call fee" of $77.00, which I agreed to. Their representative arrived on site, inspected the problem areas, made recommendations and price quotes for the offered services. He did not do any work on the site, just visual inspection and recommendations. We said that we would consider it after consulting with the insurance adjuster. He drew us up an invoice for the site visit and I was shocked that the total came to $261.76!? We had only agreed to the dispatch charge of $77.00, and not for what they called "Evaluation service call fee" of $168.50. I understand that Buvio Rubino does not provide an estimation free of charge and so I agreed to the $77.00 "Dispatch Fee". The gentleman that came (for perhaps half an hour) advised that the company would email a price quotation for the requisite work (which it did). I found the quotation to be excessive, and we did the work for a fraction of the quoted price. $168.50 for what they call "Evaluation service call fee" tacked on to the $77.00 "Dispatch fee" is excessive, considering that no actual work on site was performed. I appealed to the Better Business Bureau but Bovio Rubino did not agree to any compromise.
