Continued the evening after visiting the vineyard. Good selection of beers for those with such preference, but I personally like their wine. Big open outdoor area to bring your own chairs, however seating is limited on a weekend. Food trucks and live music

Follow the long driveway to the left for an outside brewery oasis. Plenty of outdoor space with picnic tables/chairs, lawn games set up and the area lined with outdoor lights. A serene setting. No food. I don't drink beer, head here for the atmosphere. Footnote: That long drive way, if you bang a right you head to their winery.

The Beer is good. We were disappointed the outdoor seating gave you the perspective of sitting in an abandoned gravel pit.

We've visited 15 breweries over the last few months because my partner loves good beer, not being a beer drinker (I actually hate beer) I've endured all kinds of beer and actually I found I love seltzer's. Yay, because a lot of breweries offer them. But, BUT yesterday I actually found a beer that I LOVED!! I saw on the menu a beer called 'You bet your sweet bippy'. It said it was a dessert beer and had peach and honey flavors. I asked the server for his opinion if it was good for a non-beer drinker and he recommended it along with another beer. I ordered my original choice and I have to say it's the first beer I ever tasted that was DELICIOUS!!! I LOVED it!!! So Taylor Brooke Brewery you are the beer winner!!! Very nice place, plenty of selections, lots of tables inside and outside and plenty of games to play. They had a food truck there also. For the first time I'm looking forward to a beer!!! Cheers!!!

Winery to the right, brewery to the left. Scenery gorgeous.

COVID-19 era review: alas no wine tastings or beer flights since we called ahead, but ordering ahead is a great way treat yourself and maintain social distancing. Our beers were brought out quick, minimal wait, and were nice and cold. Not having to drive from one building to the other is nice too! We found our beers and wines both at the brewery, and had no trouble following signs from the nice new entry road between each. No more craning your neck and screeching the brakes (and hearing yourself screech) as you almost drive past the driveway to the winery. Good change. No Room to Swing a Cat (a race horse name?) is juicy forward, and smooth ending. This can has the looks and the substance. NE-style IPA without a bumpy ending. Old Connecticut Path is perfect for summer, light (pils malts) but flavorful. The golden can matches what your hope/expect OCP to taste like, good and crisp. Our Boston Hollow, in a plain Amber Growler, was a smooth-talking stout. Pretzels and autumn foliage would be good here. In all, you don't get much visit time here if you aren't visiting the distanced seating outside, but the drinks are excellent as always. I'm hoping they think about distribute the beers at least...

The brewery is very simple. Indoor with long tables and benches. There are areas for sitting outside. Picnic tables outside and bring your own chairs. It looked like you can bring your own food. They do sell bags of chips and pretzels. The beer is fair. We ordered pilsners and the were very clear and tasteless. Small selection of different types of beers.

Stopped at the winery first and had a 5 tasting flight which I wasn't a fan of most of the wine I tried- but still worth the experience. Walked down to the brewery where there was music. Only sat for 1 beer which was a good sour. FYI for anyone like myself going to relax and attempt to have a nice adult evening... there were bus loads of children so if you are looking to escape kids-- the brewery portion is NOT the place to go. Otherwise it was an enjoyable evening.

Brewery is great, quick, easy even with Covid. However winery wasn't running as smoothly. I'd go to the brewery over the winery.

There's a warm, welcoming vibe that makes it just as easy to hang out with friends as it is to settle in for a quiet pint. The beer selection is genuinely outstanding. Whether you're into crisp lagers, bold IPAs, or something more experimental, there's always something worth trying, and the staff knows their stuff if you want a recommendation. The schnitzel was nicely prepared with a side salad that was tasty and a decent mustard. The poutine fries were nicely done and fresh, but IMO, there was a bit too much gravy and not enough cheese curds on the poutine. That didn't stop us from devouring the whole thing though, it definitely was not bad. Ambience is chill with music playing at a lower volume. Mostly couples and small, chill groups in the spot. There was one small group with a baby but the baby was not overly loud or disruptive. Outdoor seating is available but we opted to be inside with the AC. Bartender seemed to be the only employee working both the tables and the bar and a little overwhelmed, so service was a bit slow. Would definitely stop back here and highly recommend the strawberry rhubarb brew! Clean, gender neutral restrooms.

The brewery was very busy and the line was long, with slower wait times, but the food and drinks were worth it. The buffalo chicken tenders were great quality, not overly spicy or salty, and came with a chunky, house-made blue cheese dressing. The bacon cheesy fries were a standout. The beer cheese was perfectly smooth and flavorful, topped with crumbled bacon and thinly sliced purple onion, which was surprisingly really good. I also tried the pomegranate Down East cider, a flavor I hadn't seen anywhere else, and it was my favorite I've had so far. Atmosphere was decent but on the smaller side. Overall a good experience, though not somewhere I'd go out of my way to return to

Macari first worked for toy manufacturer Hasbro before launching a custom cabinetry business with another former Hasbro colleague. Today he is involved in multiple businesses. For a new venture, Macari decided to open his own brewery with Neveu, another former Hasbro employee. The partners acquired and completely renovated the circa 1872 Berkeley Mill boiler room building to house the brewery. They named it "Phantom Farms" after the Macari family's local apple orchard and bakery just down the road. Oscar Garrido and Andrea Riera, a husband-and-wife team from Chile, were hired as the head brewers. Since opening, Phantom Farms has become known for its farm-to-pint operation, its close connection to its namesake orchard, a historic taproom, and award-winning lagers. I recently visited Phantom Farms Brewing while I was in town for the day. I was scheduled to meet up with some other beer bloggers. The first thing I noticed was how beautiful the restored historic building was. There was plenty of space upstairs and downstairs, indoors and outdoors, and the brewery is also family-friendly. After exploring all of the various rooms, I looked over the draught menu. There was an eclectic mix of beer styles as well as hard cider crafted with apples from the Phantom Farms Orchard. Between mingling with the other bloggers and playing some games of Biñho, I enjoyed pours of "Half Dark" (Czech Amber Lager), "Elegant Viking" (New England IPA), "Alternate Continuum" (Barrel-Aged Saison), and "Hypernova" (Barleywine). I was very impressed with everything that I tried, especially the last two. Between an excellent roster of beers, a beautiful historic space, and some excellent company, I had a really enjoyable experience at Phantom Farms and I highly recommend them to any craft beer aficionados who are visiting the area!
