Stopped here to grab a beer and was pleasantly surprised to have a food truck and music while we were there. The sour beer had just the right amount of flavor and not too sweet. The light beer was also delicious. You can order a flight of beer or ever try a wine flight. There were indoor and outdoor games to play. In addition, some of the outside tables had fire pits in them. A great place to hang out and enjoy the scenery. read more

The beer her is darn good! They have a variety of styles so everyone in your group should be able to find one they like. They had a food truck outside, we did not try it. The staff were very friendly! It's a "beer hall" style with a few bar seats and a nice covered outdoor space. We will be back! read more

Follow the long driveway to the left for an outside brewery oasis. Plenty of outdoor space with picnic tables/chairs, lawn games set up and the area lined with outdoor lights. A serene setting. We've visited 15 breweries over the last few months because my partner loves good beer, not being a beer drinker (I actually hate beer) I've endured all kinds of beer and actually I found I love seltzer's. Yay, because a lot of breweries offer them. But, BUT yesterday I actually found a beer that I LOVED!! I saw on the menu a beer called 'You bet your sweet bippy'. It said it was a dessert beer and had peach and honey flavors. I asked the server for his opinion if it was good for a non-beer drinker and he recommended it along with another beer. I ordered my original choice and I have to say it's the first beer I ever tasted that was DELICIOUS!!! I LOVED it!!! So Taylor Brooke Brewery you are the beer winner!!! Very nice place, plenty of selections, lots of tables inside and outside and plenty of games to play. They had a food truck there also. For the first time I'm looking forward to a beer!!! COVID-19 era review: alas no wine tastings or beer flights since we called ahead, but ordering ahead is a great way treat yourself and maintain social distancing. Our beers were brought out quick, minimal wait, and were nice and cold. Not having to drive from one building to the other is nice too! We found our beers and wines both at the brewery, and had no trouble following signs from the nice new entry road between each. No more craning your neck and screeching the brakes (and hearing yourself screech) as you almost drive past the driveway to the winery. Good change. No Room to Swing a Cat (a race horse name?) is juicy forward, and smooth ending. This can has the looks and the substance. NE-style IPA without a bumpy ending. Old Connecticut Path is perfect for summer, light (pils malts) but flavorful. The golden can matches what your hope/expect OCP to taste like, good and crisp. Our Boston Hollow, in a plain Amber Growler, was a smooth-talking stout. Pretzels and autumn foliage would be good here. In all, you don't get much visit time here if you aren't visiting the distanced seating outside, but the drinks are excellent as always. The brewery is very simple. Indoor with long tables and benches. There are areas for sitting outside. Picnic tables outside and bring your own chairs. It looked like you can bring your own food. They do sell bags of chips and pretzels. The beer is fair. We ordered pilsners and the were very clear and tasteless. Small selection of different types of beers. read more

Taylor Brooke is such a nice addition to this area. The beers are all excellent and their wines are also all available. You can get cheese and cracker snacks but weekends bring some great food trucks and also live music. Indoor seating is like a beer hall and outdoor seating is spacious with fire tables available. Stopped at the winery first and had a 5 tasting flight which I wasn't a fan of most of the wine I tried- but still worth the experience. Walked down to the brewery where there was music. Only sat for 1 beer which was a good sour. FYI for anyone like myself going to relax and attempt to have a nice adult evening... there were bus loads of children so if you are looking to escape kids-- the brewery portion is NOT the place to go. We visited on a busy Saturday afternoon not long after their grand opening. It's a nice space with long tables inside, two bars and plenty of outside seating. There was a food truck there the day we went as well. My husband ordered a flight and they were serving a white and a red wine from their winery. I got a massive pour of the red. I really did not like the wine at all and couldn't even finish it. My husband was also not a fan of the beer. Don't let this dissuade you from visiting though as taste is so subjective. read more

This place is well constructed and in a beautiful spot. Decent parking lot but mostly gravel which can be dicey for some motorcyclists. The beer was tasty but pretty much just like everyone else. I did feel like I was in some kind of impersonal assembly line while waiting to place my order. I went on Sunday and there were people in attendance but no "scene " to speak of. I'm certainly not a wine connoisseur but I am a fan of local wineries and wine tastings. I had been to this one before and enjoyed it and this trip was no exception. We tried several different wines and talked to the servers who were very kind and interesting. We tried just a few of the wines because we had already been to one vineyard so there is only so much wine you can drink and in day and we didn't want to push it. But we thoroughly enjoyed the wines and especially the fruity ones which seem to be popular these days. They had a little gift shop where you could purchase wine related items, a little expensive but novel items. Very nice setting and nice people although you do have to stand for your tastings so that is something to be aware of. We had a lovely day and will definitely return read more

Had a great time seeing Nick Bosse play here! Loved how there were lawn games and a large area outside near the music that our kids could run around and play on. Cornhole and fire pits a plus. Friendly people, fast service, great beer! My husband and I had the IPA flight and oddly my favorite turned out to be the Rabbit Slipper, a Strawberry IPA which I've never heard of and originally didn't want to order but ultimately did and loved it! i used to live in the area, and my husband and i are huge fans of Taylor Brooke Winery, so when we heard that they were brewing beers, and opening a brewery, we were excited to give it a try. the lowdown: the brewery space is amazing. big, open, and industrial, this is exactly the kind of atmosphere you expect. staff are definitely friendly, which goes along with what we've experienced in the past at the winery. the maximum occupancy is around 90 people and, if we weren't already married, we'd definitely be considering renting out the brewery for our wedding. there's a short bar right at the entrance, and a long bar farther into the space. while the two bars "talk to" each other (i.e. you can order beers and cash out at either one), they don't have all the same beers- right now. not sure if that's an issue that will be corrected, or if it's designed that way. my husband and i each got a flight, and enjoyed trying all the beers. truthfully, prior to our going, i had checked out the beer selection online and wasn't super excited. i tend to prefer double IPAs, as well as stouts- things that are typically "heavier," and the selection, while varied, wasn't super up my alley. everything we tried was good, but i wouldn't say anything was exceptional. i'm sure that, this being their first round of offerings to the public, there are many more styles to come. there's plenty of seating outside, and the food truck increased the appeal. there's also a huge amount of parking, which is definitely in their favor because i'm sure they are only going to get busier. if you're at the winery, you definitely should check out the brewery. heck, if you like beer, you should definitely check out the brewery. we had a good time, and certainly will be back. read more

Brewery is great, quick, easy even with Covid. However winery wasn't running as smoothly. I'd go to the brewery over the winery.

I can't say enough about how much I enjoy this brewery. All of the beers are unique and delicious. Some of the beers are not my style but that's ok because there are plenty of options! The staff is friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere in general is relaxing. They have food trucks most weekends, which we always look forward to for weekend lunches! If you are in the area you need to check it out. (The Old Connecticut Path and Staghorn are my favorites.) read more

We love the winery and were super excited to try the brewery. The grounds are lovely and the staff is wonderful. The reason for the 3 stars is the beer. The NEIPA was definitely not a NEIPA. We didn't try them all but I suggest try a flight before ordering. I know they are brand new so I am hoping there can step it up with the beer. We will be back because we have always loved the place and will definitely give it another shot. read more

A midway meet up point for myself and some friends we decided to hit up the brewery. We sat outside on the patio covered ( thankfully due to the torrential downpour). We each ordered a flight of beer , and we also ordered a charcuterie board x2 for some snacks . I was surprised to receive everything all packaged up and a plastic knife to somehow cut the packages and sausage . Thankfully my friend had a small knife on him to use. The charcuterie board was very pricey for such a minimal amount I definitely wouldn't get it again. The beer was nothing to write home about, I was not a fan and neither were my friends. The atmosphere was nice with the lights and music and of course the food stand with bbq pulled pork sandwiches from another company. Utilizing local cheese Ana sausage is great and all but each item ( cheese , cracker , sausage ) was priced high. I got a beer flight for $9 and 1 charcuterie board and ended up paying over $30 for my total bill so imagine how much that cost. read more

We went late in the day on Father's Day. Wonderful location with welcoming staff. Four of us in our party. We tried 2 flights of beer (10 varieties) and our friends had 2 glasses of wine . We brought our own cheese, fruit and crackers (although there was a nice food truck set up on premises). I ordered a flight and loved the flavors of them all. If i had to pick a favorite, I would go with the Boston Hollow. My husband ordered a flight of 5 different beers and those were delish too! We will be back again soon.
