I had the best customer service experience with all company personnel I interacted with before, during and after the work was completed. The sales reps were highly experienced, knowledgeable, and honest with me about costs and the timeframe for the project. I called Taylor Construction because of the high satisfaction ratings and glowing reviews on their company. I needed their services because after purchasing my home, I discovered the true condition of the roof, fascia and soffit; and it was not in the condition advertised or disclosed in the inspection report. After a rainy and icy winter and then a stormy spring, my supposedly new roof began to leak and the paint began to peel from the fascia and soffit, revealing extensive wood rot. When I met with the sales reps from Taylor Construction, they gave a thorough presentation of their company, products and services. They inspected the extent of the dilapidation of the home and were able to put together an on the spot estimate of the work that would need to be done. The measurement estimates were accurate and so was the price! The sales reps and business office personnel took care of everything! They even handled getting me financing for the work that I needed! When the work was completed, there were no surprise costs or fees to pay. Now, I have a new, high quality roof, including fascia and soffit. And with Taylor's quality method of roofing, I don't have to worry about my roofing structure for many years to come! I was so impressed with the company and the quality of their work, I also contracted with them to have their Ultimate Gutter Guard system installed on my home! My husband and I recently decided to update our windows, we wanted to be smart about it so we call 3 different companies to get price quotes, I must say what a waste of time Taylor construction should have been our first choice (it would have saved a lot of time) Taylor Construction had a higher quality product at a much better price ! Their sales person Brian was knowledgeable and answered all of our questions he didn't try to pressure us which I appreciated he didn't use any scare tactics about ending sale price like the other window companies did. Great company. The work was actually done by their sister company. They did a great job. They were out here quickly and they were able to slightly discount the work. I'm not sure how they ended up getting so many bad reviews but some of them don't actually seem fair to me. You should review the companies work after they actually do work for you not because someone was sick and couldn't make an appointment. It happens. They are a good company do not pay any attention to their Crappy reviews. Most are invalid. We bought the gutter guard and it is fantastic. My husband fell off of the ladder and crushed his heel for years ago and is unable to climb up and clean our old gutters and we wanted to improve our house and they really did a great job. I have used Taylor Construction for several project, the largest being replacing all the windows in the 1940 home. A previous owner had constructed an addition with two very small windows for a large master bedroom. I asked my salesperson, Andy Taylor about putting identical (read much larger) windows in the bedroom, he made some calls and said, "Yes, we can!" This portion of the project required engineering a new headers for two pairs of windows (no small feat!). The Original Windows had sash weights. I wanted those spaces retained (with insulation, of course). In the bedroom replacing two small single windows, I wanted the Sash Weight space incorporated in both pairs of windows. And they did it! The representative was supposed to come out on a Saturday to give us an insulation estimate. I received a call that someone else was on the way due to the original rep being sick. It turns out that George, the President of the company wanted to make sure we were taken care of even though his sales person was ill. He was great to talk to and explained everything they would do for us. I was impressed that he would go to that trouble for one of his customers as well as his employee. We have been using Taylor Construction for few years now. We have a lot of windows in our house. They came out very friendly man, went over prices, never felt pressured. Came up with a cost that fit our budget. We have been doing like 6 new windows at a time. So happy, our house is almost complete. I think we still have about 6 more windows till our house will be done. Which we will have them come back next year to finish. The windows have saved us money. Taylor construction was amazing! The guy they sent out to put up our gutters was so sweet and worked very quickly. When he left he had cleaned up so well it looked like he hadn't even been here! The gutters with the built-in guards have been awesome this fall. We Live in the woods and have not had to get up and clean them once! Most importantly they operate as promised- no leaks or build up so far that we've noticed. I'm my opinion my interaction with their employee shows a real safety concern. Stoned employees working on a home is a dangerous thing and opens up any client, vendor or patron to serious liability. Not only did he in my opinion break the law when he states he likes to to buy food stamps and sell bongs, he also likes to post racist and bigoted messages.
