The greenhouse was filled with beautiful hanging flower baskets everywhere, creating such a colorful and cheerful atmosphere. Most of the baskets were priced around $35-$45, and of course I ended up finding one I absolutely loved and bought it. I also picked up some locally harvested honey while I was there. Before leaving, I made sure not to forget the organic seeds I originally came for: zucchini mix, mixed salad greens, sprout mix, and herb mix. This is always one of my favorite places for gardening inspiration, seasonal flowers, and local products.

The market takes place right near the big fountain and the Kent Library. It takes up one whole street, so it's nothing in comparison to Kent Cornucopia Days but I mean, it's just a weekly market so don't expect it to be bigger than it is. There's a good variety of vendors - tons of stands sporting local produce, local food products, and several stands with people who make all sorts of products ranging from soaps to baby clothes! There's a ton to look at. There's also several stands that have the type of flowers that you'd find at Pike Place - the arrangements are GORGEOUS and pretty big! The most expensive ones cost $15 - which is a hell of a deal in my opinion! You won't spend hours at the Kent Farmers Market but it's a great place to swing through on your Saturday morning before starting your day. Who doesn't love to support local?!

The gentleman who was in the back cooking my food was pretty friendly though. Honestly, based on the experience with the cashier it would be pretty easy to not rush back. I also bought some decorative mini pumpkins I painted in a style like Kusama Yayoi and surprisingly it took the pumpkins about 8 months before they rotted so I had an awesome little decoration for a long time! Fast Forward a year later, we had a surprise arrival and brought her to the pumpkin patch when she was about 7 weeks old. We didn't get any pumpkins this time around but still enjoyed some fresh air and taking a few photos and grabbing some fresh produce. The patch is only about 15 minutes from our home so we will likely be doing every year!
