It's a nice local small blueberries farm. However, my girls and I all got stung by some kinda bees/hornets. It wasn't as good for us.

It was on time every single week, easy to customize, and on the rare occasions when there were missing items or issues with quality, it was easy to note and I was not charged for those items. No questions asked. The quality of the produce was consistently excellent, and I loved that I was introduced to things I never would have tried (kiwi berries are a thing, and they're awesome.) I've called a couple of times for different questions, this last time to unfortunately cancel. I have been nothing but happy with this service and highly recommend, so I'm shocked to come here and see others have had such issues!

Absolutely the worse veggie delivery box I've ever received. Half the produce was rotten (including…read morea bag of potatoes with the same brand you get get cheaper at QFC). Even if all the fruits and veggies were good, $36 for around 3 oranges, a couple apples, and enough carrots and potatoes (again, from a national brand, and certainly not organic), is outrageous. They do not offer refunds, but only credits on your NEXT box. They hide their cancelation option only in the contact form and FAQs, and not under "manage account." What's more, you CANNOT remove your payment info. If you try before finding the hidden cancelation box, it will not allow due to an active subscription. I was pleasantly surprised (and amused) to find their macarons with custom printing at the "REVIVE I-5" booth at the University Street Fair. I was amused enough to write a separate review for them. The quality of the artwork and print colors are fantastic and vibrant with the rainbow colors. Please see photo. If I was interested in custom macarons, I would most definitely order some from Macadons. The flavor in this case is a simple vanilla, which has its charms, though I typically buy other flavors. The shell doesn't have the characteristic slight crispy, which is understandable since these are not fresh from the store. The inside is a very creamy filling that squished out on the sides as I bite down. Everyone has their own texture preferences. I personally like it less creamy. I normally buy their ice cream macarons, but these are still very good. The individual boxes make them great for small gifts.

I ended up bringing a whole bunch home for my family. My daughter who has food issues even loved them. That's a huge compliment. I'd for sure come back. Especially since it's quiet and a great place to work with a snack and beverage.

I'll admit I was skeptical when I first heard there was an actual farm in Seattle. Land here is…read morescarce and expensive. But lo and behold - there really is one! Seattle Farm is a privately owned 20-acre property, and I'm pretty sure it's the only farm within city limits. The place is beautifully maintained and feels like a hidden gem. No cows or chickens, but there are plenty of horses. We came during pumpkin season and paid $25, which covered both parking and admission. Big parking lot, easy access. At the barn you'll find several horses, and feeding them hay was a hit for both kids and adults. The darker horse was especially affectionate - kept rubbing its head against us, super sweet. You can also pay extra for horse/pony rides; they are all calm, well-trained, and come in various sizes. There's a food area with picnic tables where you can grab hotdogs and drinks. The pumpkin selection isn't as large as farms farther out, but still enough. It's great to see a place like this still operating in the city, and it's definitely worth supporting to help keep it going. I think they also host private events like birthday parties and weddings, and offer dedicated horseback-riding lessons - you'll need to call for details. Awesome family-friendly spot. We'll definitely be back next year!
