My daughter recently had her first preschool field trip and Thomasson Family Farm was the perfect experience! It's a little bit out of the way but it's worth the drive. Finding the farm was pretty easy and there is plenty of parking. I believe we got a little bit of a discounted group rate for our tickets, but even without the discount it's a fair price for all that is offered here. Our field trip guide was great (and patient) with a group of rambunctious 4/5 year olds. We were able to tour the whole farm and ended with a fun educational moment featuring floating pumpkins. The kids had a blast here - hard not to, as this patch is mostly just for kids! There's a really fun playground area with lots to do. Outside of that there are also animals to see and pet - they even took out some kittens for the kids to pet (and they're up for adoption!) There's also an indoor play spot with a corn pit, slide, excavation station, etc. And of course they have wagon rides around the patch which was a hit! They also have a little food stand with concession type food that smelled good, along with pies, donuts, and a coffee stand. Overall this was a great first trip here and we would definitely return with the family considering how kid-friendly it is! read more

$70 for 2 seniors, 1 adult and an 8 year old child. Stayed maybe 30 minutes. The fun areas were shut down as we came on a Thursday. Even the corn maze was closed. Our granddaughter had fun visiting with the farm kittens and pumping water. Had they had more things open, then it would have been worth the money. Nothing special and wouldn't recommend. I took my first grade class here a couple weeks ago, upon entering we were greeted by the friendly cashier (I wish I got names!) I told her we had a field trip so she had us wait a couple minutes off to the side for our guide since we were a little early. Farmer Kathy came down to greet us while we waited and she was awesome! When our guide got there they were training a new employee so we had a couple guides with us, they took us around the farm, talked with the kids and taught them some things along the way! The kids had a blast in the corn box, I'm still picking corn out of our van. Overall I highly recommend this farm for field trips, dates, family etc. read more

Took three kids under 12 yesterday and had an amazing time. We go every year and it's always a little different. This year they added the Mega Slide with tubes for kids which was great!. So many games to choose from, tractor rides for the kids, corn box play area with slides, combine basketball, kettle corn and of course pumpkins! COVID 2020 Autumn has not stopped this local farm! We selected this farm for their COVID precautions stated on their website in addition to fellow yelpers' report. Easy online reservation for time of arrival to the farm which allows access to all the activities. Farm activities and laser tag was limited to COVID, however peeking at the animals was available. Excellent corn maze! Fun for little and big ones. After 30ish minutes the little one called it 'quits' and thankfully we 'exited' at the entrance =oD Our other party got lost to the 'children of the corn' averaging about 70 mins later winning the finish of the maze. Parties are spaced out between entry to hopefully distance due to COVID I APPRECIATED the staff having signs and washing stations throughout reminding visitors to mask and abide by the COVID rules. A few food trucks were stationed throughout including "stacks, grilled cheese, mocha" as well as their own kettle corn and jalepeno cheddar popcorn! Such fun for littles and lots to do. I do have to say that the prices are a little higher but you get a lot out of it. Corn maze was fun for kids as there is a riddle number map to help you get out so make sure you littles know about dinosaurs! Play laser tag? Get lost in a corn maze? You guessed it - here, here, and here. My ONLY complaint, if I had one, is that they aren't enforcing the mask mandate. SO many people out there without masks, coughing and snotting all over the place. They do have hand washing stations with sanitizer - I give them props for that. And if you aren't aware, you do have to pay to get in, unless you are just there for pumpkins. Be prepared for large crowds and long lines. My daughter had fun, and that's all I wanted that day. An absolute waste of money. It's hysterical that you can't access the pumpkin patch without first spending $22/person, then to have garbage quality pumpkins to choose from. And yes, I know it says this on the website, but it's a joke. My wife and I went with our 1-year-old son to get a pumpkin. That's it. He's too young to do anything else. Almost $50 buck later we left feeling ripped off and annoyed. And please, do something about your yellow jacket issue. The entire facility is infested with them. Really terrible experience with unfriendly staff. We will not be returning. read more

My family went for the pumpkin patch and ended up having a full day of fun. There's an activity for every age: bubble tables, super slides, laser tag, apple sling shots, petting zoo, play ground... There's food, coffee, and snacks. Thomasson family farms is the best place on earth. It's beautiful out there and smells like tradition. Please do yourself and your kids a favor and come to this farm. The best farm I've been to in the area. A few things we loved: * So very many activities to do for the kids. We spent 4 hours there and literally my kids only went to the corn pit twice. Everything else they just visited once, there is a huge ton of stuff to do. * They provide tractor rides right at the pumpkin patch, so fun! * The employees are so friendly and there is a lot of them, so everything is very well taken care of, things cleaned/refilled/reset timely. * The pumpkins are actually pretty affordable. $12 for an extra large is what we paid, I think it's a good deal. * Nice selection of food/drink items at the cafe. Pros: My kiddo had a BLAST and there were so many fun things for him to do. There is no doubt that this place is very family friendly. Cons: I saw WAY more unmasked people at the farm today alone than I've seen anywhere in WA in over a year. People were everywhere and in close quarters without masks on...in lines, the playground, etc. Every other establishment is requiring masks right now, so I'm not sure why this place thinks it's okay not to. It's unfortunate because otherwise we'd definitely be back, but it just doesn't seem like they're taking the pandemic seriously enough. If you don't have kids, don't come here. This place is completely catered to children. You have to pay just to get in to wander the pumpkin patch for a $20 - yes $20 - pumpkin. Free parking though, so I guess that's cool that at least something here doesn't cost money. Prices vary for what you want to do: Packge A: $5 adults, $10 kids. includes the kids korral Package B: $10 adults, $15 kids. includes kids korral, and the corn maze OR laser tag Package C: $15 adults, $20 kids. includes kids korral, corn maze, and laser tag. So, as you can see, it's more for kids entertainment, and prices are more expensive for kids than adults. Other than the pumpkin patch and corn maze, there isn't anything for adults to do. No cute places to take fall photos either. Long lines for every single vendor, and hard to see prices for anything. Most of the pumpkins they had were huge, but they were mostly all green already! Good luck finding a wheelbarrow as well. I'm sure it's cool for families and whatnot, but for those of us that do not have kids and were expecting to just pop into a pumpkin patch to get some pumpkins to carve, I do not recommend coming here. Wish we would have had a heads up about it before driving almost an hour to get there - hope we can save someone else a trip! * ALSO if you have a fear of BEES - like me - they are all over the place and are aggressive - there is even a sign stating so posted at the ticket box office. First time here with my 3 year old son and 8 year old niece. It's the perfect place for their age. We went on a Friday afternoon and their was a good amount of people but not busy. The kids were able to try out the zip line plenty of times without waiting in line long. They had a lot of different things/activities to choose from- playground/slides, bubbles, chalk board fun, zip line, corn maze, tractor train to ride in, little tricycles to ride on, etc. I was told on the weekends they generally also have food trucks. I was very impressed with the variety of offerings at the Thomasson Family Farm pumpkin patch. They have: free parking, reasonably priced pumpkins, a corn maze, a hay maze, animal petting area, sling-shot apple area, a small gift shop (filled with crafts, local honey, preserves, and fudge), a variety of concession stands (espresso, ice cream, kettle corn, doughnuts) and outdoor seating. The lines can get long for the concessions but the mini pumpkin doughnuts are worth the wait! The pumpkin patch was less muddy then some I've been to however I don't recommend wearing shoes that you'd feel opposed to pressure washing after. It can be hit or miss depending on weather. Wheelbarrows are available, for hauling pumpkins around the patch, but check the air pressure on the tire BEFORE walking into the patch. There's nothing more frustrating then having to drag a "broken" wheelbarrow (now field plow) full of pumpkins through the mud. Thomasson Family Farm was a lot of fun, had a lot to offer, and is definitely going on my pumpkin patches to re-visit list! read more

A scenic pumpkin patch nestled in a colorful fall ambience combined with good family fun is what this place is all about! Located on a real dairy farm, they open their property to the public for October. When you arrive you can either take the free hayride to the pumpkin fields or snatch a wheelbarrow and walk down on your own. Pick whichever pumpkins you want and pay based on size. Prices are as low as $2 for the XS (perfect for a 3 year old) up to $20 for the Super Jumbo (and when they say Super Jumbo, they mean business). An optional kids pass is available for $6 per child on weekdays (adults are free weekdays and on the weekends the prices are slightly higher). The passes are great because there are so many activities to last a good hour or more. Our kiddos fave is the tractor train rides where each child gets their own barrel drum to sit in while they get towed around in crazy eights by a tractor. There's a kids korral with slides, swings made of tires resembling horses, tractor wheel tunnels and bubble wands with the ideal soap mixture for maximum bubble fun! There is a petting zoo area with your typical farm animals like bunnies and lambs. A hay maze and the infamous corn box. Imagine the ball pits at play lands, but instead of balls it's filled with dried corn kernels and hay walls. The kids will get a kick jumping in the corn, sliding in the corn, and making corn angels. This alone will keep them occupied forever. And expect to find kernels of corn for weeks later in the crevices of your cars and homes. They have food onsite with items like pulled pork sandwiches and nachos. The food looks and smells great. We've always arrived fed so we haven't had a chance to try it out. The workers at the farm are amazingly friendly too. You can tell they're having a good time. Everyone is super nice and interactive with the kids. This has become a family tradition for the last three years and we will plan to continue until our children grow tired of corn angels. read more

I feel torn as I post this review. The farm itself had lots of different activities that were fun for the kids. The staff were all so friendly and great. However, I was very disappointed by the lack of some important COVID safety measures. There are signs posted asking people to wear masks, but it was very crowded and probably more than 80% of the people there were not wearing masks and there was not any physical distancing. On the other hand, the staff wore masks, there were hand sanitizing stations everywhere, and their signs said they sanitize the play area frequently throughout the day. There were lots of positives about this farm, but the extremely large group of people not wearing masks in close proximity is a significant issue for me and unfortunately, outweighs everything else. I guess wearing a mask is a choice for some, and so I hope this helps folks who value health and safety to know what to expect. read more

They really are not doing anything to enforce the social distancing rules if you aren't wearing a mask, they are very lightly staffed compared to the crowds, and there are lots of unmasked people who will invade your personal space. I used to love this pumpkin patch, but this year it was awful! The pumpkins were gross, the whole corn maze was dead, and then on top of that they charge $10 per person even when the adults are just going to watch the kids play. Also a cup of noodle $2, the corn dogs l got my kids which were $4.5 a piece l thought they were alright but my kids didn't like them at all. The only part of this trip that was good was the donuts. This farm is truly wonderful for the kiddos. I took my 2 year old and 10 year old. Now, my 10 year old could have had more fun if I would have let him loose in the corn maze, which in hind site I shoulda. We ended up driving out here with almost an empty tank and I didn't even think about getting cash, so here are two TIPS: 1. Bring cash, cash only. 2. Fill that tank-yo. Seriously, this place is 7 miles off the freeway but about 3 miles in the other direction there is a gas station with an ATM so if you need gas, it's close but don't do what we did and almost sputter out of fuel. The hay maze is great and a wonderful way to let the children play and run around like crazy people. In the petting zoo they have two goats, 3 pigs, a cow and pony. My 2 year old went crazy. There was a caged kitten as well but when it started clawing at our toddler, my husband freaked out and we left that area. They've got a cute little kid train that does a short track around the upper left quadrant of the farm and a free pumpkin patch wagon that takes you through the massive pumpkin field. We don't do fairs very often (usually more festival type things) but we were thinking that the food here was going to be fair-like. The food was small. Corn dogs were priced at $4 each and they were tiny. Hand dipped, which is great but super small. We skipped it. The homemade donuts are tiny like the ones you get in pikes place market and can be drizzled with chocolate or powdered suger. We got half a dozed, half with chocolate and the other powdered. It was the perfect little treat to share with two kids and my husband and I, which only cost about $3. The latte stand on site is priced normally and the drinks are standard. The kid korral was great, with a bubble table, hill mounted slides, fake cows with roping practice and so forth. It really is a great family place to take the kids and hang out. Not crazy pricey either. For the two adults and two kid korral packages, it was 20$. I highly recommend this as one of the best pumpkin farms for Fall that I have been to. read more

We go to this farm every year and greatly enjoy it. I looked on their website to make sure they were still open and what precautions they were taking. I felt comfortable going as they claim to limit entry and you had to have tickets for your designated window. Well that wasn't the case at all. When we got there for our "window" there, the parking lot was almost full. No joke. I really wanted to turn around but the kids have been looking forward to an outing. I would say about 75% of the adults and children were not wearing masks. Not even the wrong way but just straight up didn't have one. Kids running rampant everywhere, no social distancing what so ever. I did see someone kind of clean the slide and hand rails. That was nice. But overall we didn't feel safe, or that really any precautions were being taken besides no food, and random cleanings. I don't think we will ever be back. That was too much. I understand they can't control visitors, but what you can do, is monitor for masks and definitely limit your entry. That just made you look very money hungry and not caring about people's safety. read more

We had sooooo much fun! This was our first pumpkin patch with our 6 month old baby, we went with my husbands mom. I looked up pumpkin patches near her house and found this one. We lucked out! It was 5$ a person with the A package which was perfect for us, kids under 2 are free. They pumpkin spice donuts with your choice of toppings. The pumpkins were reasonable priced. Everything was wonderful we couldn't have been happier, we will definitely make this a tradition.
