I have Andersen wood-clad "paned windows"... which are more time consuming and tedious to clean. I also have high 2nd story interior windows, requiring an extension ladder to reach. I called Robert because my windows were filthy and a client of mine highly recommended him. He was professional, kind, fast, thorough and efficient. I don't know much about the window cleaning business, but I thought his prices were very reasonable. Even my neighbor commented on how nice my windows looked!! My husband said they were so clear he kept thinking the windows were open! Lol. Seriously though, it makes a HUGE difference! I bought a UT San Diego deal. Unlike what was said by other reviewers here, he didn't do a good job. His price included only the glass portion of the windows, everything else was extra. Frankly, I've never had a window cleaner who didn't do a fantastic job cleaning the glass portion of the window, so if you're grading him based on that, then he is great - like 100% of other window cleaners. I paid the extra for the railings and it was a bad superficial cleaning with a rag. The gunk was still there when he was done. He broke the frame of a screen and didn't/couldn't repair it. He just told me he it was broken and then left. read more

Robert Taylor is the consummate professional and a wonderful person. I originally met Robert a couple years ago after my mom gifted me a group-on for window cleaning. Randomly I had been thinking about my windows needing to be cleaned and lo and behold Mr. Taylor gave me a call to see if I wanted him to come clean! The universe passed on my thoughts! He arrived 10 minutes early, was able to quiet my yapping dogs and was, same as the first time, a lovely conversationalist and quick worker. He seemed earnestly interested in my new home-based business and even took business cards to distribute. The windows were cleaned swiftly and immaculately. He worked around my messy house and offered no judgement lol. You know, it seems like customer care has really gone down the tubes lately with the onslaught of big corporations. Robert came out to the house and did a fabulous job. These are old tired windows with what I thought were hard water stains deep down into the glass, and he got them shinny clean. Here we are two weeks later and I'm still in awe of his work as I look out the enjoy the beautiful outdoors from indoors. Robert has the perfect tools to get the windows clean, and there wasn't one drip spot or edge that he didn't make sure was perfect. I bought a window cleaning deal on UT Deals for $50 for 10 windows. I called to make an appointment and it was all good, then I heard from the owner, Robert a few days later trying to see if he could reschedule to a day when he would be up in my neighborhood. I was trying to be accommodating so I said yes. I had to then cancel because a friend came to town to surprise me so I would not be home. I called to reschedule, telling him I could not do it on a weekend, he called me back stating that was the only option. So I made the appointment, I was going to be out of town but I had my sister come over to be there for it, (and pay an extra $2 per screen to have cleaned, which is not a big deal, I totally understand it was not covered in the deal). The day of my sister called me & had been there for 45 minutes already & he had not shown up. I got in touch with him & he said he was running 2.5 hours late. So my sister waited around for him to show. He did show up & cleaned the windows. When I got home from my trip I noticed dirty water lines on every single window and on the window sill, on the paint and on the drapes, both wood & fabric. I emailed him to tell him about the drape in the living room having huge dirty water stains on it. I left a message asking him what he suggested I clean it with, he never even called me back. The drapes are ruined & I spent hours cleaning up after him. I don't want to clean my own windows, that's why I bought the deal, to see if it was a good company I could use in the future, I would never hire them again. At least call back when I am simply asking what I can do to get the mess you made, out of my drapes. So not impressed, steer clear unless you want to spend hours cleaning up after a simple window cleaning job. read more
