    This is a difficult review to write. I am posting the bill that I received for a tuneup on a Ford…read more450 v10 gas engine on my motorhome. I did not get an estimate in advance, which is partly my fault, but I was also never offered one. The tuneup included spark plugs, oil, oil filter and air filter. I also asked that they put 4 screws to mount a fresh water pump (not on the engine; for the coach). The water pump was already installed (water and electricity along with testing) so they just needed to place 4 screws into a wall to mount it. For this amount of service I was charged $2300. That seems to be light years beyond a reasonable price for a tuneup. The owner, Colton, explained that there is a chart for mechanics to use that has expected times listed for certain jobs and that following this chart was a fair practice. I was charged for 10 hours of labor even though it actually took about half that time. At a rate of $150 per hour, that really adds up. Colton also claims that if they got the job done in one hour, they would still gladly charge $1500 in labor if this chart says the job should take 10 hours. As I voiced my great displeasure with my bill, Colton did make a small offer to compensate me, but it was far short of bringing this bill to a fair price for this work. I also have no issue with the quality of the work. For these reasons, I give two stars instead of one. But I can't in good faith recommend this business to anyone due to unethical billing practices. But judge for yourself. Look at the picture of the bill on this review site. Would you feel comfortable paying $2300 for an oil change, 10 spark plugs and an air filter? Are you happy to pay for hours that were never spent on your job, especially at $150 per hour?

I've given Colton 6 monts to fix the proble he caused wit no avail. Them wants to bill you for his time to fix the problem he and his team caused. Drove back to within 50 miles of his home base and he offered to come diagnose the issue ive been having since my truck left his shop.This is the absolute worst experience at a shop, take your business elsewhere there are way better shops that this in the are that have integrity. The other company that he works with to solve this issue is fantastic i would gladly give the a 10 star.

Unfortunately, that was only the beginning of the problems. When the truck left the shop, it immediately started having issues. Over the next 6 months, communication from Colton was extremely inconsistent. Days would go by without responses, and when he did reply, he often redirected communication to the parts supplier instead of taking ownership of the situation. For the record, the company supplying the parts was fantastic and we would absolutely work with them again. My partner works out of state, and Colton assured us multiple times that he would travel to fix the issue. Instead of making Colton travel to Kansas, my partner drove 12 hours to Texas and ended up within 50 miles of Colton's shop. Colton was given over a week's notice with exact arrival and departure dates. After repeated follow-up, he finally agreed to come out. He was there for roughly an hour, did not complete the unfinished work from December, and then said the issue was likely the alternator and that he would overnight the part and return to install it. That conversation happened on Thursday. By the end of Saturday, Colton changed course and decided he simply wanted to ship us the alternator for my partner to install himself. Meanwhile, the unfinished work from December is still incomplete, and Colton is refusing to credit the $500 value of the unfinished labor and parts. As business owners ourselves, we fully understand that mistakes and unexpected issues happen. This review is not being left out of anger, but to bring awareness to how the situation was handled. Had there been timely communication, accountability, and follow-through, this easily could have been a 5-star review. Unfortunately, in our opinion, the lack of communication, integrity, and resolution turned it into the opposite.
