Done with this location…read more My company has Enterprise in their rental pool as the option, so I've rented from them when needing to travel out of state for work to avoid putting miles on my personal vehicle. This is the closest location to me, so I've rented from them numerous times. It's never a great experience, and often a downright terrible one. Plus, their vehicles are just tired overall. I'm done with Enterprise, and especially this location. My major issues I've had: Rented cars on two occasions that absolutely reeked of weed and cigarettes. They dump about 20 ounces of air freshener on the upholstery and expect it to cover up the smell. The first time this happened, it was the last car on the lot, so I had no options. The second time, I demanded a new vehicle. Read the room. I'm traveling for work. What makes you think I'm cool arriving at a meeting smelling like Snoop Dog circa 1998? I had a long-term rental with them once due to a car recall on my personal vehicle. They did a bait and switch and I ended up the most mid Chevy Impala ever, despite being told I'd be getting a comparable model to my personal vehicle. I called a month into this rental and they wouldn't swap out the vehicle. And finally, my wife just rented a vehicle from them to take to Minneapolis through her work. I told her "make sure you take pictures of any damage before you leave the lot." She did, but when she just returned it, they found a scratch on the UNDERCARRIAGE of the car under the passenger side door. My wife didn't have a photo of it, because she couldn't see the damage. They are charging my wife's company insurance for damage from a previous renter. Ridiculous. I'm done with this place. I'd recommend staying clear if you can avoid them as an option. Terrible.

They were supposed to drop off a car at the body shop and they did - late, of course. They guy dropping off was super nice but said "oh I forgot to check the gas - there's less than 1/4 tank. Do you want me to go get some?" LOL, what???? I didn't have all day so I said I'd take care of it. Only to realize (too late) that the interior reeks of cigarette & marijuana smoke that was unsuccessfully covered up with air freshener. Sigh. I called to have it swapped and of course, it's a giant hassle - they wanted me to drive it out to them. Nah bro, I'm not BUYING gas to drive 1/2 hour to return your stank ass car. No one here has any business driving a car, much less renting them to the public. Avoid.

I usually use Mayfair for work-related rentals. They're easy to book and they're flexible with…read moretimes. You can drop off your vehicle when they're not available on the weekends. I have found that it's easy to pick up vehicles and they're able to get you on the road without waiting in a long line like some rental places. They have a large selection of vans and their prices are averages. I wish they would have a better weekend on-call system in the event that an emergency occurs with one of their vehicles during their closed hours.

I truly appreciated that, they explained to me that they were having a frustrating day the computers were taking forever to reset so due to that they will compensate me a little bit I understand we all have bad days but it's when we can recognize our fault and admit to it so I truly appreciate the phone call and the compensation. Well, as we were counting our luggage we realized one was missing and so was our car seat. We had to go and file a complaint so we were not outside when the shuttle arrived. We called again and they came right back over. The driver was so kind. There were five of us and we were just going to ride over and come back with the car. She was so kind and told us there was enough room for everyone and we did not need to bother trying to come back. She put all the bags in the car made sure all of us and our kids were buckled in safety. She was thoughtful of passenger safety and comfort. When we got to the area where the cars were we were assisted immediately. It was hot so we were offered water. Not just me inside getting paperwork but my entire family of 5. Continues to be a great experience. We were told at time of rental we were getting a Durango to accommodate our entire family, but a Traverse was driven over when we got outside. The person in the office had the driver bring over a Durango, he told us that the Traverse really had more room, but we were welcome to take either one. That was truly exceptional. He was not angry and was extremely polite even though he had been asked to go to the trouble of driving over a different vehicle. We went with the Traverse as it was roomier. In the end we had a 2014 vehicle that was nearly new and was comfortable for our entire family and left with an exception al customer service experience. The cost was very reasonable; especially for the size and quality of car we were given. I will use this company when I travel to Wisconsin again.
