I am moving to Athens, Georgia on Friday. I had reserved a truck rental in April for the move (my pickup date is July 31). This week I got a call from this location telling me that they did not have my truck available and that I had to call corporate to find a truck. I now have to drive out to Janesville, WI to get my truck (an hour and a half drive from my home). This completely pushes my timeline back and is just another wrench in my already awkward travel schedule during COVID. Why even allow reservations to be made if they mean nothing to the company? I will never again use Budget truck rental for any move. I am sickened by this abhorrent customer service and implore anyone considering them to carefully reconsider. Don't get hung out to dry like I did. Don't let their cheaper prices woo you; this is a perfect example of "you get what you pay for." read more

We used these guys for our wedding, and they were fantastic! Every time we called, they answered. More importantly, they answered quickly and they were friendly. Everyone we talked to was able to quickly look up our reservations, and there were no misunderstandings at all, which is rare. They were so helpful and responsive, I couldn't say enough about it. I have a complete workshop but sometime run into a project where a specialty tool would make the job 10 times faster and easier (example: hardwood flooring nailer). Taylor is my go-to place. I rented chairs, while returning i noticed i was one short as per my Invoice, they did something that i did not expect They checked the inventory and found that they had all their chairs accounted for and called me back said don't worry, we're going to go ahead and close it out like everything was returned. I have used Taylor Rental in Mundelein to service lawnmowers, snowblowers and power tools since moving here in 2007. Very friendly, fast service at a fair and reasonable price! Today they took in my snowblower that wouldn't start (just before a forecasted storm)and had back to me in an hour! Didn't need to do that for me but because it was a simple fix they were very accommodating! I would recommend these guys anytime! read more

Over the past few years I've rented various items from Taylor Rental in Mundelein, but this weekend they really showed why its the only place to rent from. I had rented a double frozen drink machine for a huge party the weekend of 4th of July. About 2 hours before the start of the party I started to get the margaritas going and found a leak on the tap. I called and was told they would send someone out there (Lake Villa) right away. Someone showed up about an hour later and fixed it immediately. It saved the party and helped to make it a big hit. Dropped my snow blower in for service at 10am on 12/26 and machine was fully fixed in less than three hours and at very reasonable cost, Service person took his sweet time explaining all the issues and showed how to maintain my machine better and keep in working condition in the future.
