I did make a couple comments about how I was concerned about my baby. upon leaving though one of the people at the desk, whose name is Isaac, was mocking me as I left saying over updating the system oh no, your baby might die. Our last baby did die very unprofessional. I don't think that this flamboyant gentleman deserves to be working where he is very insulting. Very dissatisfied with my visit.

If you offer x-ray service on a weekend it should be read on that same day! Never experienced anything like this in my life. This Dr is happy to take your money for no actual result. I sent the pic of my son's wrist to my sister in law who is a Rad tech in California. She and her coworkers were appalled that an x-ray of the entire hand was taken and not focused on the wrist. Even the techs here are a joke. Utah healthcare is the absolute worst. Going to another facility where the radiologist actually does his job.

The Radiologist who was on site read my scans and came right in to explain things to me. He looked 20 but took all the time I needed and explained in great detail. When you drive up, all you notice is overgrowth and weeds in every green space. Despicable! If the appearance doesn't bother you the registration process certainly will. I came in due to a workman's comp injury I sustained while working at Steward Jordan Valley West. I asked the registration clerk if they have access to those records they used to be Steward. She abruptly interrupted me and said that they were bought out and that Centura/Trinity does not have access. I replied that I have the information and will provide it. Just to understand and confirm what I heard her say, I asked differently about the records by saying, "....just to confirm, you're saying you don't have access?" The receptionist cut me off stating, ".....I TOLD YOU we don't have access!" Needless to say, I was taken aback. I asked her if she was having a bad day. She replied "Why!?" I said you're being quite abrupt. She replied, "Are you calling me a brat?" I said, "no, I'm saying you're being abrupt." She attempted to explain and I replied, "....it's not necessary." These two "first impressions" reflect the dismal experience I received and seem to indicate the level of professionalism and treatment the new ownership has and delivers. I am a firm believer in Attitude reflects Leadership. I'd definitely schedule here again if I ever need imaging in the future. It IS a bit difficult to find as it's tucked away in the corner. Waze actually took me to the wrong side of the large cross streets so I did end up getting lost. The directions on google maps got me there in the end!

Our family member is a 19-year-old high performing athlete who has had daily headaches and post-concussion symptoms since October. After five months of neurologists finding nothing on standard MRI, we flew to CognitiveFX for the EPIC treatment week. The fNCI scan was genuinely illuminating -- the most objective picture of what was wrong that we'd had in five months. The treatment protocols were sophisticated and specifically mapped to her scan results. Her before and after scores moved dramatically. We believe something real happened this week. But here's what didn't happen. On day one I asked explicitly: by Friday we need an honest clinical assessment of when and if she can return to sports. That was the single most important ask. Friday's end-of-week review was conducted by a nurse and a trainer. No physician was available at any point during the entire treatment week. The doctor whose name is on her scans we have still never spoken to. In fact, we were told three of the four doctors listed at the clinic do not come in, and one wasn't coming in the entire week we were there. No doctors -- at all. We had to push hard just to get a Tuesday Zoom scheduled with the physician of record-- after the week was over and we were already on a plane home. There's more. CognitiveFX ordered a cervical spine MRI on day two of treatment. The radiologist found degenerative disc disease out of proportion with vertebral wedging from chronic axial loading. Nobody mentioned this to us during the week. We found out from a chiropractor we saw on the way to the airport Friday afternoon. CognitiveFX had that report for three days and said nothing. We also requested CognitiveFX's own return-to-sport specialist, who had committed to being part of the end-of-week process in a pre-treatment meeting be included in Friday's review. He wasn't there either. No one was but a thoughtful nurse. For what this week costs, the clinical consultation piece should not require a parent to fight for it after the fact. The diagnostic tool is real. The treatment protocols are real. The therapists and trainers were professional and clearly skilled. But a medically supervised program needs physicians who are actually present and accountable. That part was not delivered. I'll update this review based on how Tuesday's follow-up call goes.

I decided to come because I could either pay the price by continuing to live my life with post-concussion syndrome or I could pay the price to come to the best place in the world for treatment and then enjoy the rest of my life. I went to my local medical center and saw their neurologist and speech and memory therapist as well as had physical therapy. I was not getting better. A friend saw me in my condition and decided to research what was out there that could help me. I had no idea that there was a place like CognitiveFX. I made the best decision and flew to Provo Utah for treatment. The therapists cared so much about me and helping me get better. The patient care coordinators are very skilled and are very fun to work with. I connected with so many of them. I heard that they were world renowned before I came here and that absolutely is true. There were patients from several different countries here as well as local people and people from within the United States. Today is my last day and I really hate to leave this wonderful place. It feels like am leaving family. I'm pretty sure that you'll feel the same way when you make the prudent decision to come here for your concussion treatment.

However, there are billing problems EVERY SINGLE TIME I use Revere at any location. I have primary and secondary insurance. I got notification that I owed a balance, which I should not, since the secondary insurance pays whatever is left after the primary pays. I called billing and they said they were unable to reach my supplemental insurance company. I called the insurance company and got through to an actual human right away. I called the hospital billing department back and told them what number to call, and to wait to talk to a human. I will wait a few days to see if they get it straightened out. I am concerned, because I am scheduled to have the other knee replaced next month, and do not want this hanging over me when I go for that procedure. What the heck, Revere? EVERY SINGLE TIME for the past nine years.

I was told they had checked on my insurance and I hadn't met my deductible so I was responsible for the full amount. I agreed to the terms to receive the discount and paid the amount ahead of the scan. There were no complications or issues. A month later I received a bill for more than I had already paid. I contacted the hospital and they said the original quote was only an estimate and the procedure cost was actually more than double what I was quoted. After disputing it with a manager (Matt) I still ended up paying a substantial amount more. Very unfair practice in my opinion. I would not have had the scan done had the cost been accurately quoted to me originally.
