Beware of this place they do not guarantee their work or their parts. I spent over $2,000 here and my car is still not running properly and it's only been 2 months after I took it there. The water pump was the problem it was replaced on my BMW X3 and also the thermostat and just two months after it running hot again and I go and call her the owner who's the b**** would not work on my car anymore. I'm going to tell everybody I know do not do business here because they don't guarantee their work they got mechanics there that will screw you over and repair things that don't need to be repaired just so they can make the money. Advanced Auto Parts DIberville down the road (see review) sold my wife a battery after a breakdown. They reused to install it because it was "wet" outside after she had purchased it. She found Taylor's and they were happy to help and accomadating even though very busy. They offered her a warm, dry place to stay and coffee. Although the bays were full, they changed out her old battery with the new one she brought in during a sprinkle of rain outide of the cover of the bays and got her back to work within 30 minutes. The cost was $30. These folks went above and beyond. The tech also told her that that was very common for them--"many folks come here with the parts (they bought) at Advanced to put on with the same type of story." Took my car in to get a broken hood latch fixed, I was not able to pop the hood. They charged me for a complete diagnostic which cost right under $200.00. Not sure what the diagnostic was for, all I asked for was to have the hood popped. The total bill was $647.00, their service manager, I believe his name is Rich, originally told me that it would a little over $800.00 until I complained. The shame in it all is I trusted this place, had taken my cars there for years, and recommended them to others, never again! This is a blatan, crooked, overcharge and then they laughed when my wife went to pick it up, repeating the price as he laughed. Seems this place is not what it used to be. The good thing about this is they'll never get my money again, the sad thing is many more will be overcharged, ripped-off by these crooks! read more

If you are a woman and feel bad when someone is trying to take advantage of your pocketbook, this is an automotive repair shop you can trust! My husband had bought me an older car that needed some repairs which was okay with me. It's a second vehicle, anyway, but it needed some work. The mechanics were very knowledgeable and they took the time to complete the work in a reasonable amount of time. Had my car towed to Taylors because it would not start and the key had been lost. Rather than calling a locksmith to.have a service call, I wanted a repair shop to be sure it would start, assuming they would also check the antitheft cantrol module, the battery and charging system, etc. Instead, pathological liar Charlie wrote an estimate recommending much unnessecary work (ex. flushing the radiator even though it had been done recently while the water pump was being replaced) and did nothing other than marking up the locksmith service ,(i was quoted $175 but Charlie invoiced $290) and sent away with a completely dead battery and a car that still wont start. When I went back to see about resolving the issue he tild lie after lie and, quickly, told me to leave or have the police called. Maybe that is why the other shops are backed up for days or weeks but Taylors is eager to rip you off the same day. read more

they charge $50+ to diagnose your car but then they give you a written quote for repairs. they don't make appointments but they have a waiting room you have to walk through to get to the front desk. i was there in march and the quote they gave me, i had to save up for it, so i call yesterday to see if the quote is still good & the part (available in march) still available-- dennis is the one who answered the phone and verified everything still the same, said to drop it off any time, would take 4-5 hours to finish. i tell him it's my only car, i'd rather wait, i'll bring something to do and he says that's fine. today i go in, spencer is at the front desk, watches me walk in with a bag of activities + a thermos and treats me like i'm in the wrong building. i let him know i'm there for repair, he says i have to drop off my car. i say i've done that, it's in the parking lot. he says it might take hours, i said im aware. he says he doesn't know if the parts are in stock. i said they were when i called yesterday. i asked if customers are supposed to drop off the car, leave the building, then wait for him to call with pricing/availability...? he says he doesn't want me to get frustrated by waiting. i said i came prepared to wait and i'm standing in the waiting room. about that time dennis came in and diffused the whole situation. spencer apparently thinks nothing gets done without his knowledge/consent and the only way he does things is by drop-off. he must get his way more often than not because the waiting room is barely used & sparkling clean. since i'm a customer, i will give myself customer service with the facilities available for customers at taylor automotive even if spencer would rather i just dropped off my car and left. dennis is a dyed-in-the-wool customer service-oriented employee who provides timely, friendly, accurate assistance and who would clean the toilets & waiting room provided for customers every day without complaint. dennis is worth the money they are paying him. spencer is not. spencer is a jerk. read more
