Wow can't believe I haven't reviewed yet I've been there once at open Sunday at 11am for their buffet and it side not disappoint! I loved their fresh naan, I ordered their mango lassi, they have all the classic chicken tikka, curry, salad, fish? Apollo which was a surprise for me, and all the chutneys!! I can't wait to go back. The lady was very friendly and made sure to replenish the naan that went out like hotcakes so she made sure to bring extras to the tables that didn't get them on the line. We love it here! We originally wanted to come for Eid this year but weren't able to make it on that day. Instead we came in on a Sunday for their brunch buffet and were happy for it. All of the spices and flavor were present and the service was great. This tastes just like our go-to places back in our home state. We were pretty sad when this place got messed up from the tornado last year. So I'm very happy that they are back and still serve amazing food. Can't say I've ever had any issues with the service here. Weather when we dined in or ordered out, it's always been a 10. Haven't been back to check out the interior since the storm. 10 years ago, I arrived in Killeen. At the time, there was an all you can eat Indian buffet that had all the flavors and all the textures I needed, but all of a sudden they weren't there. For the next 9 years, I have been on a quest to find the replacement. I've travelled from Waco to Austin and couldn't quite find 'it.' I am happy to say, that at last, I had found the place that has not only met my standard, but exceeded it. The only problem I had at first is that it took 30 minutes to drive...well worth the trip. We found an all you can eat Indian buffet in the Austin area, however they used inferior spices, therefore it was not worth the trip. Taz on the other hand, spares no expense. In one dish in particular I noted that not only was it fresh and delicious, but it utilized saffron, which is the world's most expensive spice.10/10 for quality. 10/10 for taste. 10/10 for service. read more

Let those robust flavors trigger our noses and make them drip! When it comes to Indian cuisine, we probably expect nothing less. This place does just that! I haven't had really tasty Indian food since living in Fremont, CA. It's great to find one in this growing town of Temple, TX. I promised I'd write this review after tasting their Lamb Biryani. I'm confirming that it's SO GOOD, I'd totally have it again! What I love about dishes like that is everything is in one satisfying meal with an easy clean up after eating. I've dined inside before with some family. They have a great wine wall with good selections. Their anbience is warm with pops of shimmer and color from their decorations. Service was very pleasant and attentive. Thank you for going above and beyond! Sure to return and taste other menu specialties. Man oh man......let me start off by saying customer service 10 ! But other than that.....this has probably got to be the most mediocre Indian cuisine I've ever had. This is my second time coming to this place since moving to temple. I ordered the tikka masala entree while my wife ordered the butter chicken entree spicy . The portion of the masala and butter chicken were good but i guess since we ordered two entrees with rice, they found it necessary to combine both entrees rice' in one container. Which i don't really care since it was with my wife but not everyone wants that, and would prefer food separated for each entree. The second and most diabolical thing i witnessed today was the old ASS NAAN IM ALREADY PAYING $6 for the garlic naan now i have to wrestle that mf just to bite it off? No sir/maam, UNACCEPTABLE. As for the entrees , the tikka masala was OK at most just lacked flaaaaavor....and seasoning.... I myself am not a butter chicken person but i must say that was probably the best thing ordered today , it was flavorful had a bit of a kick and was hefty in portion. Today, my mother had suggested this place after going with my father once and my brother and I loved it! WOW.!! We got there at 5 pm as they opened. There was no wait. The service was immediate and excellent. They were helpful describing all the dishes. The menu is huge. It is clearly divided into vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The booths are excellent, we prefer them to the tables. The garlic naan was excellent. The pani poori was amazing. Ask them to describe it for you. The vegetable fried rice was better than you get at a thai restaurant. We also got the mushroom curry and it was slightly sweet. It is my new favorite curry. We had phenomenal food from Taz for a large group dinner. We had vegetable biryani, vegetable samosa, butter chicken, onion pakora, and naan for food. For sauces, we had tamarind, green, tomato, and coconut chutney. I loved the veg biryani + butter chicken combo, and the naan was fragrant. So pleased that Taz is back after the tornado. I've been meaning to try them for a while now, finally got the chance and it did not disappoint. The place is warm and inviting and the food is top-notch! I had chicken vindaloo, rice, and an order of naan, all washed down with a pint bottle of Flying Horse lager. The vindaloo had the right level of heat and spice, the chicken was tender and potatoes were nicely done. The naan was hot and had just the right mix of tender and chewy. Service was prompt and attentive while everything was reasonably priced. They also have a lunch buffet that I can't wait to try. My husband got chicken kadai and I got their equivalent of dal tadka. We both asked for spicy. Mine was extremely bland in all ways lacking spices and salt. Heavy jalapeño taste, but not very spicy. It was definitely missing the traditional spices for that dish. The chicken kadai was not the greatest. Chicken was dry and the flavor wasn't as good as it could be. It wasn't "bad" just not great. Servers were kind. There's not a good Indian place in Temple/Belton, so if this place could fix the food flavors, it would be good. The location and atmosphere is good. This was the only one Indian restaurant that was open after 9pm in Temple area. It's a few miles away from I-35. Also part of a shopping strip. We found a parking right in front of the restaurant itself. They do have a large dining space with very simple interiors. Very casual ambiance. We were seated towards the middle of the dining area. They offer both South and North Indian food - appetizers, soups & salads, entrees, dosas, biriyanis, tandoori items, thali (just for lunch), Indo-chinese etc. We ordered the veg fried rice and onion dosa - medium spice level. The food took around 10 minutes.Staffs were nice, friendly and helpful. They served the fried rice with raita and dosa with couple of chutneys & sambar. I came across the fried rice with raita combo for the very first time. When asked, the staff mentioned they always serve that way. The fried rice was decent - not spicy at all. Raita wasn't a great combo at all. The Onion dosa was a disaster. The onion was not completely cooked and had no absolute flavor to it. Didn't like it at all. The service is really good. Very good food and quick service (right at opening time, only one or two other tables). The food selection was huge and the food/drinks were delicious. Ample vegetarian/pescatarian options. We both tried a sampler type plate, with 4 or so small samples of the dishes. The samples are very small, so wouldn't recommend this if you are ravenous, but it was good for indecisive people like us. Beautifully decorated and staff were courteous. Just tried this restaurant for lunch. We'd been looking for some good Indian food in the Belton/Temple area and we certainly found it! They had a lunch buffet which happened to have a lot of our favorites so we opted for that. Everything was DELICIOUS! The naan bread and onion kulcha was excellent, soft and warm. The chicken tikka masala was mouth watering as well as the chicken kurma. The spinach rice was so yummy. The mango custard with fruit was amazing! The service was absolutely excellent. First time flyer here. I met a couple of buds for lunch on Sunday, 1-12-2025. We got there for the opening at 11 AM and when I opened the door, that wonderful smell of Indian/Pakistani food hit me. I was in heaven. We all had the buffet, which is extensive and bountiful. For me tandoori chicken legs, samosas, butter chicken over biryani rice plus several other tasty dishes decorated my plate. Plus a stack of fresh naan. A little while later, I returned for my second plate of all the other good stuff I missed the first time. I am not an expert with the names of the dishes, but the curries, tika masala and other selections were TASTY. In the end, we left sated and satisfied. I give this place 5 stars for food, service, food, and did I say, food. Oops, I forgot the tasty varieties of chutney and the cooling raita. This place is a gem! The place is smallish, clean, and comfortable. The food...is off the charts. We had the vegetable samosas, butter chicken and chicken malai with garlic naan, and a sweet lassi. Definitely a place we will be revisiting often! The food was wonderful, spicy, but not so spicy I cried lava, authentic, delicious, and oh so tasty! The restaurant is in a strip center, but when you walk through the doors, it doesn't feel like it and the decorations are simple but cute. There's plenty of space and tables for the size of restaurant it is. The servers were friendly and helpful. I ordered takeout for here last weekend and I have not been able to stop thinking about it since!!! The owners are incredibly nice and the food is absolutely delicious. When you walk in it feels warm and smells like heaven. It took a minute to get my food to me, but they were so nice and gave my two year old a mango lassi as we waited! So kind of them! I made sure to leave a big tip in the jar because the service was truly amazing. When we got home to eat the food, everything was amazing! The buttered chicken, naan, sauces, everything! My first visit last night. I am not a connoisseur of Indian cuisine so was looking for not only a new experience but to learn more. I love lamb so choose the lamb tikki masala and garlic naan. So good! Followed with rice pudding. A delight! Left overs of the tikki masala and naan still delightful the next day. I will be back to try more dishes! Service was excellent.
