I liked the casual vibe of the place and the staff were friendly. Ordered a chicken gyro with the chips and fruit to-go. Not sure why, but it took almost 30 minutes to get my order called once I placed it at the register. Maybe they were backed up, there were a few people who seemed to be waiting just as long as I was. The chicken gyro was about average. Chicken seemed to be cooked well and the other ingredients were fine, but the sauce seemed to lack flavor. I was in Cincinnati not too long ago & Taziki's caught my eye; I stopped on in & it did not disappoint! Its quality, quick casual service makes this place great for both dining in or grabbing a meal to go! They also have an amazing patio! All of the staff were incredibly friendly & had great recommendations! Everything I had tasted great, incredibly fresh & also felt healthy & clean when eating it, which is awesome! I really enjoyed the spicy harissa chicken gyro; it's a nice flavor profile switch up from what I've seen at similar types of spots. The hummus dip was HUGE & the veggies were also super fresh! I used to really like this restaurant at this location. I used to go there on a regular basis, until they always had some kind of problem with my order. They were always out of something. I made the mistake of trying them again today, after not going there for many months. I started to order the signature balsamic pasta salad with chicken which is only available on the weekends. The young lady said that they were "out of pasta for the day". This was at 4:30 pm, so it was before the evening dinner time! There is no excuse for this. What is wrong with this place? I have probably eaten at this restaurant 20 times since they've opened. My wife and I visited today and she had the chicken gyro with rice and potato chips. And I had the harissa Chicken gyro with rice and chips. I think this is the best sandwich I've had at this restaurant since it opened. The meat was cooked perfectly. The gyro was dressed very well. The pita bread was really fresh. The rice was very good. All areas of the restaurant were exceptionally clean too. This cafe is a decent size and super fast/friendly. I ordered a falafel gyro that was really really good. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Their sauce was also really good! The kiddos enjoyed their kids meal too. The feta cheese and veggies was not one of my favorites though. There was a lot of honey and it was just too sweet for me. We decided to sit in a booth, and it was very nice! They had clean tables, nice background music, and a very yummy smell! We all ordered the "Chicken Breast Feast + side of rice". If I'm honest, it was pretty basic. The food tasted good, but nothing really special - just regular chicken slices, rice, and a salad. We still enjoyed it, though! The qualify of food at this location has really declined. The lamb gyro has zero taste and the taziki sauce taste watered down. The food use to be much better and really does resemble fast food with poorer quality. The staff and customer service is much different and majority of the times orders are not correct.
