The overall atmosphere seemed somewhat tense, and communication between staff did not appear very coordinated. When management assistance was needed, they were called from the office and the interaction came across as disengaged and not very approachable. I've generally had much better experiences at the Burbank location, where the staff has usually felt more welcoming and organized.

Walked In to check some things out as I hadn't been in a Big 5 in forever. Only bought some snacks…read moreand lady at the register kept asking me if I was ok. When the transaction was completed I stuck my handout for the receipt (out of habit-I never care for receipts) and I was met with a response "you can't return food" .. I had a hard time understanding what she was saying because I was so thrown back by it. Why was she telling me you can't return the snacks I'm about to eat? I really was confused. By the end I was being looked at like I was garbage. Maybe they didn't my disability from my time in the Marine Corps. Maybe they didn't like my disheveled look on a Friday afternoon (I'm an attorney and own a firm, I wear a suit everyday so when Friday afternoon comes around and I leave work I could care less on the way home). What was even more awkward was what all the other employees started saying "do you need help" do you need this " as if I was a Ticking time bomb. I just left and said "everything t is all right stop worrying". I'm still confused by there encounter. Maybe it was my ethnicity maybe they thought I was trying to do something I'm not supposed to because I walked around the entire store while waiting for my fiance a block down. Anyways that's not my issue.

When I entered, a worker greeted me and ask if I needed any help. I told him I was just browsing at their Dodgers gear and he told me where they were. The have a decent amount of different teams gears so you'll likely find what you want here. The price is on the higher end but it's official licensing. The store felt right at certain times because there are just so much clothing and apparel inside.

I was doing early shopping Christmas and I needed a Dodgers t-shirt for a gift. I stopped by and the store is big, very well stocked and organized, you can find gifts with all LA teams emblemas on, t-shirts, jackets, hats, pajamas, bubble heads, you name it, they have it. Prices are a tad high, but this is normal with this kind of merchandise. The selection was very good so I found what I needed. Customer service was very good, the gentleman working here was nice and helpful. Great resource, easy to find, easy to shop at. In and out pretty fast, pleasant shopping experience!

Upon entering everything is sorted in sections, they have a variety of things for sale and they have signs for trade ins or buying your old things as well. Some items are expensive because they are the higher quality or limited editions. They also sold used bikes and many you might need to ask staff to take a look at quality and price. We looked around and we asked about the bikes and was able to try one of them to see of it'll work for a particular body size. The staff were very helpful and they all helped answer questions. Overall, I think of we'd like to get something and don't have to spend much, we'd come back and ask and hopefully they have it!

SHE WAS AMAZING and made me feel so comfortable amidst my poor timing of coming at closing therefore chaotic. She was even supportive when I lost my phone. That's when one of the guys stopped talking with the other employee and asked if I was ready to checkout. I commented that no one said anything to me the entire time I was in the store. But i misplaced the receipt and was unable to do the exchange for the correct item.. This was frustrating for me and i got upset but Emily went out of her way to ease my frustration with a 10$ credit towards the new purchase if the correct item and just gave overall great customer service!

When I realized the mistake, I politely asked if that item could be removed from the transaction. The cashier immediately responded, "I can't," and offered no explanation or attempt to help. A manager was called over and seemed visibly annoyed. We were told there were only two options: either void the entire transaction and wait approximately 20 minutes for the gift card funds to be restored, or pay the difference and then return the football cards afterward for store credit. Since there was no way I was spending an additional $63 on football cards, we chose to void the transaction and wait. We specifically discussed that it was Father's Day, that we needed to get to a family dinner, and that we would wait the required 20 minutes so my son could repurchase the correct items. The manager advised us to wait near the entrance or continue shopping. After the 20-minute wait, we spent another 15 minutes waiting for the same cashier to help us complete the purchase, only to discover that all of my son's items had been returned to the sales floor. We were then told, "You just left the items," despite the fact that we had clearly communicated our plan and followed the instructions we were given. What bothered me most was not the store policy itself, but the complete lack of customer service. There was no apology, no empathy, and no effort to make a frustrating situation easier--especially for a child trying to use birthday gift cards. The entire interaction felt dismissive and unnecessarily difficult. The saddest part was that my son left the store in tears instead of excited about his birthday gifts. What should have been a fun experience became a frustrating and upsetting one due to poor communication and a lack of basic customer service.
