A cup full of toppings lol

This place is wonderful! Delicious ever changing flavors with a plethora of toppings makes it so fun and the prices are super reasonable. Service has always been so sweet as well and they are so good about letting my son just get toppings! It's healthier than regular ice cream also. Highly recommend!!

We love this place and have always come but recently they started putting all the toppings out in the open. Since sitting here , I've seen 2 different kids out there hands in the toppings. This place doesn't seem clean anymore.

Sometimes you just need some ice cream and TCBY was open and ready to serve guests once Texas opened up Phase 1. The employee working was funny and kind and discussed the health protocols surrounding gloves and cleaning. Husband ordered a cup of chocolate chip cookie dough and topped it with Reese's. I ordered a mint chocolate chunk milkshake, and while the flavor was great, the texture was thin and sadly all the chocolate pieces sunk to the bottom.

We've been here twice and have had a great experience every time! The owner and workers were such a pleasure to talk to. Definitely our go-to spot for ice cream!

Ali approved frozen yogurt establishment. Small is pretty big for a 2 year old. The white chocolate was great too!

Two smalls! Mocha almond and PB yotrax in one, vanilla bean and rocky road in the other with Oreos/coconut flakes!

But this desert was just WAY TOO SWEET. The vanilla sauce was more like a sugary frosting that ruined the whole dessert for me.I don't know if it's because I'm old and my sweet tooth isn't as strong, but I couldn't eat much of it even after scraping off part of the frosting. Service/ambiance: Overall I think this was such a fun late night spot. We came at around 11:30 and the place was filled with people, mostly groups of friends, and it gave such a lively atmosphere. I don't come often because parking is always a nightmare, and tonight was no exception. When I showed them the app, the staff seemed confused on how to do a redemption. So they had to call the owner for help. The owner apparently told them not to honor the redemption because they were in the process of switching rewards program platforms, and what used to be a 50‑point reward was going to be a 300‑point reward. The staff said my points would transfer eventually, but I only will have 63 -- not enough under the new system. Hey, I'm no entrepreneur. But I am a customer who eats out all the time. And to me this is a textbook example of an owner who doesn't get customer service. I drove all the way there, dealt with the parking, and came specifically to redeem a reward that still showed as valid in their app. It's not my fault their system hadn't switched over yet. These cakeball and truffle treats are only the size of a donut hole. It's not one of their higher end desserts. The obvious right move would've been to honor the reward and give the customer the treat. But nope. They chose the stingy route instead. And with that one decision, they lost another customer. Congrats and enjoy your cakeballs.

It seemed like a very typical little mini plaza, but it turned out to be anything but that. It's now quite the food truck court, as there are several food trucks staggered throughout the parking lot, neon signs and music. Maybe you hate this, maybe you love it, but you can thank Houston's no-zoning laws for it. Either way, it grabbed my attention enough when I saw the good reviews piling in for Baciati that I knew I needed to visit soon. First off, I will say that they did a really nice job turning this into a classy spot with a pergola and some decor that's a couple steps above what you'd normally see at a food truck seating area. With those upgrades also come high end prices for the gelato, but that's okay because I really enjoyed it. I couldn't decide between some coconut gelato and something that will always tempt me: a strawberry dubai chocolate concoction. I say "always tempt me" as if this is a regular menu item at every ice cream shop. Quite the opposite, actually! But for the record ice cream shop owners of America: you should have this on your menu. Both hit the spot perfectly for me. The coconut gelato was pillowy in how soft and creamy it was. The dubai chocolate cup was addicting and I was sad when it was over. I look forward to visit #2 and many more after that!

The selection of pies is incredible. Honestly, I can't think of anywhere in the Dallas area that offers this kind of variety. If you're a pie lover, this place feels like paradise. The highlight of our visit was the Strawberry Rhubarb Pie. In all my years living in Texas, I don't think I've ever seen strawberry rhubarb pie offered at a restaurant. It was absolutely amazing, especially when paired with a scoop of ice cream. We also tried the Chocolate Cream Pie, French Black Bottom Pie, and Coconut Cream Pie, and every single one was excellent. Each pie had a fresh, homemade quality that made it easy to see why this place has such a loyal following. The food was fresh, hot, and served promptly. Beyond the food, the customer service was outstanding. The staff was attentive, friendly, polite, and genuinely seemed to care about providing a great experience. It's becoming increasingly rare to find that level of service, and it made a positive impression on us. The overall experience reminded me of Marie Callender's, but with better food and a much larger personality. There's a nostalgic charm to House of Pies that makes you want to stay a little longer and save room for another slice. The only thing preventing me from giving a full five-star review is the non-transparent service fee. I would much rather see menu prices increased by 2-3% and have the fee eliminated altogether. The final cost would be the same, but the pricing would feel more straightforward and customer-friendly. That minor criticism aside, House of Pies was one of the highlights of our trip to Houston. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu and, of course, more pie.
