I'm very particular about the vehicles I owned and this LC was no exception. I already had seen The Car Care Nut on YouTube for quite sometime but never pieced together that he was in fact, local to me. I have also had a stellar working relationship with numerous Lexus dealerships but wanted one-on-one service which is not common, especially within a dealership network. I've always been a tremendous proponent of supporting local business as I feel they take much more pride and care in their work. Enter TCCN. I called them a little while ago, maybe six months prior just to inquire, spoke with Mel at the front desk and was told to fill out basic info within their website which I did. I was then handed off to Ahmed, the owner who I gave the backstory of what I was looking for, how "particular" I was, and inquired about his thoughts and recommendations. Not once did he try to push or sell me on anything, and he listened carefully and answered them all in a manner that made sense and were appropriate. I ended up setting an appointment date (today) which was pretty far in advance at the time, but the vehicle doesn't get driven in the winter so there's that. I arrived about 5 mins prior to my 10am appointment and saw the plethora of Toyota and Lexus vehicles (some older, some newer, a few vintage and imported). Was greeted by Mel up front and dropped off my keys. Car was brought in about ten minutes later and in under an hour, services were complete. I know Ahmed personally inspects over each vehicle before being released to the customer and after he did, he came out and spoke to me that my car was in great bill of health, needed nothing and only advised of future maintenance items that I could optionally due in future with time interval, urgency for each, and why it could be done if I chose to do it (or not). In the end, I was beyond satisfied but this didn't surprise me. Pricing is cheaper than a dealership, a tad more than a random garage, but I knew going to TCCN would've been a one stop shop for me, pun intended. It was all worth it to me and then some. I elected to come here (a 45 minute drive) after a local shop did some work on my car that introduced a clunk, and they were unable to fix their own problem. TCCN's team went through the entire car, detailed everything it needed, and allowed me to pick what work I wanted done. Ultimately, the clunk was fixed - it was a single adjustment bolt that had been installed backwards. All other mechanical work was done well for a reasonable price also. They have a long backlog of vehicles and customers, so definitely expect a wait, especially for bigger jobs. TCCN prefers to only use OEM parts so although the prices may be lower than a dealer, they will likely be higher than your local small mechanic - for good reason. Their work is done to last, and they stand behind it. I am glad I was able to have TCCN work on my car and fix issues that the original shop did not want to figure out (even under their own warranty) and to have my car back in tip top shape. read more

The owner is a good guy, but mechanics working for him aren't. Brought the car for inspection. Waited 2 month for appointment. On the appointment day waited 1.5 hours before they actually took my car. Mechanic, drove the car and didn't even notice bent rim and when asked about the obvious noise coming from the wheel, said it's cause my tires are noisy. And they charge 145$ for this insepction. Had to go to another shop to find out what's the actual problem. read more

Since moving out to the midwest I've had horrible experiences with Toyota dealerships. After having some issues with a knocking sound that the dealership "fixed" by replacing the struts which resulted in sudden jerking movements and continued knocking sounds, I decided to get a second opinion. After Ahmed inspected my car he asked me a few questions and explained what was going on with my car. Turns out the dealership had installed aftermarket struts without my knowledge/approval, and the continued knocking was probably due to a tie rod (the 2nd fix the dealership suggested after replacing my struts as the cause). Ahmed explained how these parts worked and gave me options on fixes. I appreciate the time taken to explain what's wrong with my car and that the decision was left to me, not made for me like the dealership had done. You can expect an honest evaluation of work, great explanations, and great, reliable work. If you doubt the dealership at all definitely go here for a second opinion before doing anything to your car. I wish I had brought my car here before allowing the dealership to do major work. read more

I just had my 2015 Lexus ES 350 the second TCCN automotive and was again very pleased with the results. This service appointment was limited to a regularly scheduled engine oil change and full vehicle inspection by their staff. The entire Affair took no more than 90 minutes and I waited in their office area for my car to be completed. What I especially appreciate is the value that I get with TCCN. My Lexus dealer regularly offers service discount coupons and for a complete oil change they get approximately $120 plus tax with the coupon discount)for the same work that TCCN charges. $96 (tax included) and I trust TCCN a lot more than I trust the Lexus dealer. So... my husband is a huge fan of The Car Care Nut and his videos, and we watched a lot of them when researching our next "new-to-us" vehicle. We settled on a Toyota Highlander, and bought from Carvana knowing we had a 7 day window to get it checked out. Even though TCCN is a bit of a drive, we were such believers in his opinion of all things Toyota, we wanted him to go over it and let us know if we had bought a lemon. As other reviews have said, he takes his time and really goes above and beyond to make sure you understand what he is telling you, and make honest recommendations. For me, I'm always overwhelmed at the mechanic, and worried I'm being taken advantage of. TCCN was completely genuine, friendly, and willing to answer any questions I had... and even let me take a picture for my fan husband ;) we will definitely be back with our Toyota vehicles from here on out. i chose TCCN for their speciality in toyotas showcased on youtube, my grandpa hadn't taken in his car for awhile. they scheduled me for a car inspection TWO MONTHS OUT on december 10th for february 10th and i had to pay $145 to make it. it took so long to be seen my power steering fluid had finally bottomed out weeks before i could even see them about my initial unrelated oil leak. they then proceeded to try to book me two months out AGAIN (april 10th) after waiting that long to just be looked at and the tech told me to no longer drive my car with a power steering and oil leak as he sent me off.. they told me i needed the entire power steering pump replacement for $685 which i NEVER EVEN NEEDED, $815 for the power steering lines (you guessed it they said all 3 were damaged when it was 1 with a hole in it), valve cover gasket for $282 and rear pads, rotors and shims for $540. they also didn't even notice my left caliper leaking brake fluid, i needed a new bleeder. i got every single thing done at bridgeview auto for their price of the power steering lines alone... was seen practically immediately, everything was fixed then and there and my car has run with zero problems since. horribly run business and pricing read more

If you have a Toyota or Lexus this is the place to go. Excellent service and they show you everything so you know what is good or bad on car. Also doesn't try to push fixing everything. He points out what to watch for and monitor areas that are not bad yet, and may be just starting to show wear but not enough to warrant it to be changed. I'm glad I brought my car here! read more

today I visited TCCN Automotive to have my 2015 Lexus ES350 serviced...my appointment was for 9 a.m. and they had my car in the shop by 9:05 and the service (oil change/transmission fluid drain and fill/coolant drain and fill) was complate by 11:30. Then AMD came out to speak with me and described the services done and the results of their inspection of my car. I am completely impressed with AMD, his techs and his office manager Meli. I'm a telecom/aerospace engineer and know what perfection is, but ADM at TCCN takes perfection to a spectacular level. AMAZING: My 2008 Camry had a weird vibration and TCCN replaced ALL with OEM mounts. Drives beautifully, purrs. I called this job "Cracker Jack" since there apparently were suprises inside. I didn't know about the poor condition of the power steering lines, talking about inspection with a fine tooth comb !!! ADM is a superior perfectionist, drills down to find the root cause & resolve. It was an honor for TCCN to do this job, can't wait till he inspects my 2007 Highlander !!! BRAVO, how does the world clone your morality & ethics !!!
