They charged me $1700 for a water pump and a thermostat they told me I have no warenty I paid $150 for there tow and said they never received payment the hose ruptured on me while on the highway they wouldn't pick up my car to fix the issue they fixed a cracked thermostat ? And a cracked water pump coolant everywhere. What if my kids were with me I was in the cold for 4 hours just for that reply. Tread carefully. read more

My wife's car needed extensive work . Brakes , hub/bearings, belts , holes in the exhaust system , and rim leaks in all 4 tires . Before starting, they explained that parts these days have much longer lead times . Having a job where I am also dealing with Supply chain issues I told them I understood completely. Bell side 7 was up front and insisted on showing me all the issues before they started the work . I declined the extensive exhaust work needed to save money but they ended up using parts they had on hand to patch what they could in the exhaust free of charge! Extremely convenient & affordable! I went here a couple weeks ago for my vehicle emissions testing. In and out quickly, and so much closer to home than the other testing facilities. Staff was very friendly. I was given coupons, and made an appointment for an oil change, which I did yesterday. $18 for an oil change and tire rotation! I had them change both headlights too, which I desperately needed, and was only $28. Small price to pay to not have to do it my self in a freezing parking lot. use caution they tend to cop an attitude they ask too many questions do you have to check in if you don't there's no sign you'll be made to feel like an idiot..also make sure you know what you're talkin about if you fail your emissions test because they will put added stuff on that you don't need and higher costs..take a look on not Yelp but at the other reviews there's a lot of shady stuff that's going on here it's been like that for years though they're not the friendliest people to deal with their very slow if you're getting your car emission tested here you will be for quite an extended. It was around 4pm the day before going into the Christmas holiday and I get a flat tire. I had to move quickly to get off the road and see if I can get it replaced or repaired. As I rolled into a repair shop desperate for assistance, I was happy to see there was no cars in the shop and an hour before closing. The two employees standing around doing nothing said, "its too late man" What a joke! As I desperately got in my car, I saw a sign Bell Side 7 across the parking lot. I rolled my car over there before the tire went completely flat. The place was full of cars and the owner Moussa was crazy busy. I told the girl and the desk my situation and she went to Moussa (the owner). He came over to me and said "let me see what I can do". Now he is SLAMMED but cared that much to check it out. Gregory E. This letter is a complaint against James Thomas, owner of Thomas Toyota of Joliet, 1437 N. Larkin, Ave. Joliet, IL. 60435. I have an on-going dispute with Thomas Toyota of Joliet for a year. I told the finance department that I would be searching for a resolve this July if the interest rate was not reduced. And this reveals more of the reason for this complaint. On March 4, 2017, I traded in a 2013 Nissan Rogue with approximately 66,000 miles for a 2016 Toyota Prius C, VIN: #JTDKDTB35G1122072. I gave the dealership $7,000 cash for this transaction. The Finance charge was 11.54% $(8,336.15). $4.702.65 of that deposit went for gap insurance, ERT, document fees, protective insurance, transfer, titles, and taxes. The amount financed on this vehicle with a cash price of $21,634.00 was $34,672.20 with 72 payments scheduled to Ally Bank of $407.40 a week. The trade-in value of the Toyota Prius C was $13,000, a loss of $8, 634.00 over a three month period. On July 7, 2017, I brought the vehicle back, trading it in for a new 2017 Toyota Camry, VIN # 4T1BF1FK9HU375360. This time I gave the dealership $300.00 for this transaction. The car was financed through Toyota Financial Services (TFS), the interest rate was 8.15%, $(8,522.81). The cost of this new vehicle was $24,719.00, and with the various fee assigned pushed the price to $31,444.31. Although this was quite high, I understood that the cost of the vehicle in its totality would be $31,44.31, for a total cost of $39,867.12 - monthly payments of $553.71. Several days later in July of 2017, I tried contacting the finance director about the return of this vehicle and wanted to reclaim the 2016 Toyota Prius C. All attempt to reach the sales staff went unanswered, hang-ups when I was connected to their office from the switchboard and no return calls. I thought that I had a month to return the vehicle or to handle any dispute. At this point, I cite a few causes and concerns, but nothing more significant than not a salesperson, but finance managers disingenuous failure to respond to the reaction of a disgruntled buyer or is this something else. I was never told at that time that I had three days or 300 miles to return the vehicle. Failure (disingenuous) to disclose this information by voice or in writing is my complaint at this time. I have additional complaints about the lack of and non-responses of calls for the entire month of July which would quite easily lead toward the conditions for the abatement of the sale and/or returning the vehicle. Failure to return the vehicle within the three days or 300 miles leads to the closure of any dispute. Was this deliberate? I called several times about this, that, finance fees being reduced. I called TFS, and the response at both that location and the dealership is null. Finally, I have to say that the Finance Department at Thomas is perhaps the worst experience that I have ever had with any company; however, this all starts from the top down. I have a resolution for this entire financial mess. I AM NOT UNSATISFIED WITH EITHER VEHICLE; HOWEVER, I PREFER TO BE BACK IN A PRIUS. WHEN THAT QUESTION WAS BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF THOMAS FINANCE, THE RESPONSE WAS A LITTLE LESS THAN PRACTICAL. I AM A SENIOR CITIZEN WITH DIABETES AND NO INSURANCE. A MONTHLY COST OF $533.71 IS TO HIGH. THE ATTEMPT TO BRING THE OVERALL INTEREST RATE DOWN TO 3.15% OR LESS IS WARRANTED. KEYWORDS: DELAY CALLING THE CUSTOMER, AVOIDANCE OF THE CUSTOMER, TOTAL FAILURE IN THE FINANCING DEPARTMENT, FAILURE TO RETURN A CALL, DISINGENUOUS (DECEPTION) IN THE SALES PROCESS, AND FAILURE PERIOD IN CUSTOMER RELATIONS. read more

I got stuck doing a vehicle emission test for my mother-in-law and they were the closest facility to my home. I called twice prior to arriving and both times I spoke to the friendliest person. The best part was I didn't need to make an appointment. When I arrived, they were super efficient and very professional.
