When I asked her why the prices on her signs are different from what she's telling me she started cursing at Donald Trump!!! Lol When I didn't agree on the price she's telling me since it's different from what her signs says she started cursing me out!!!! Really?!!! She's so weird and has a lot of issues. I went to another medical scrubs store which is a half a mile away from her it's called Dress A Med and was super satisfied. Awful service. Was on the phone for less than a minute I described the service I was looking for, some embroidery work on a pair of gloves that are delicate and right away I was turned down because she didn't want to be responsible. I said I had multiple pairs that she could test that I wasn't worried about them getting damaged. I knew what I was asking for but if she could just try it and I'd cover the cost if it didn't work and she was raising her voice on the phone and just saying she wouldn't do it. And I said okay, you don't need to be rude it's okay if you don't want to do it. And she called me a fucking bitch. In regards to the review regarding embroidery fonts First of all you have to first choose a font, in order for your embroidery to be done they are not mind readers and just throwing out a font name like 'SCRIPT' is like someone saying hey turn on that street instead of saying in a mile make a right on Main street.. BE SPECIFIC and be PATIENT! There are over 10,000 font names. Poor customer service!!! Very rude! Called to get a quote for scrubs and customer embroidery. Spoke to a lady on the phone who was super weird and right off the bat cut me off mid-sentence to inform me I would be paying "extra" because she's very busy. I told her that's fine and I appreciate her time...I started to share w her my needs and I emailed her my logo. She called me back and talk about SHADY!!! She wouldn't give me a quote or price for the embroidery service...she just kept saying I had to pay "extra"...when I pushed her for an exact price she got very rude with me. She told me to find someone else and hung up on me!!! There is no reason to treat a customer so rude or to speak to anyone like this. Especially someone just asking for an estimate for your services. This place is amazing! I was referred to Sasson after encountering rude service at a nearby store, and I'm so glad I found them. I only needed one sweatshirt embroidered with one name, and I know it's too small of an order and not worth setting up for most embroidery shops. Martha welcomed me into the store and seemed happy to help. I didn't realize there were such a wide variety of fonts to use, but she was very patient as we looked at different options on her screen and on my phone. When I couldn't decide between 2, she offered to e-mail proofs to me so that I could decide after seeing what they looked like. I received the e-mail within the hour, and selected an option. She also told me she would have them done by the next morning. Every other store I'd called, even stores that ONLY did embroidery, gave me turnaround times of 2 days to a week, so 1 day was incredible. She gave me a great price and called the next day to let me know it was ready, too. The store is located in the garment district off a quiet side street with easy parking, and the inventory of scrubs I saw was huge, with a multitude of colors and styles. I greatly recommend getting scrubs from this location to anyone who works in the healthcare industry and here are the reasons why: Location: It is located in downtown LA near fashion district. It is in the neighborhood of many small stores where they sell textiles and fabrics. I recommend parking at Laz public parking plaza right across from the store. The parking fee is only $4 all day and if you just take the stairs down, the scrub store is right across within 20-40 steps reach. Products: they have all kinds of scrubs in different colors and different patterns catered to different healthcare workers from different locations. I have to say, i was really impressed by how CHEAP their scrubs are. Each set of blue scrubs that i needed (including top and pant) is $12 @.@. If you get those from anywhere else, they are like $12 a piece. Some of the scrubs with different color and shape and design may be more than $12 but still really cheap compared to a lot of other scrubs stores. Service: the lady was sooooo great and friendly. She was really helpful in terms of helping me finding the size and colors that i need. If you get the wrong scrub color, i believe you can exchange it (hopefully intact) for a different ones. She is also very informative as to knowing which students from which schools need which scrub. In other words, she is also very specific. Conclusion: I am definitely returning here for all of my future scrub purchases. It is cheap and affordable. The service is good and there is a huge selections. I really recommend this place to anyone esp students who need cheap scrubs. PS: Beware of some of the reckless pedastrians who can randomly cross street when you drive around this area. Remember to drive carefully and watch out for careless drivers too. I think coming in the morning or early afternoon is better since a lot of stores in this area closes around 6 pm ? Honestly, this place is amazing. Martha (the owner) is soooo helpful. She helped me choose the correct size, and 3 sets of beautiful scrubs. I don't think I've ever experienced better customer service than the service I received today at Sasson. They have a wide variety of colors and sizes; you really can't go wrong checking them out. The material of the scrubs are high quality and made by Martha directly, hence "Mar scrubs". There's absolutely NO REASON Sasson scrubs should get anything less than a 5-star review, on that note the recent negative review that was left implying that they were discriminated because they were Filipino is absolutely absurd (I'm Filipino and was in no way discriminated-clearly). Scrub sets here are $12.....$12..I mean I love bargaining but I would never disrespect someone's time, and quality of work by asking for a discount on $12 for a SET! My school sells scrub sets for $70, so the fact that some people are trying to bargain on a $12 set of scrubs is a joke. There's a reason Sasson is so highly rated overall, ignore the outliers and check them out! If I could give this place 10 stars, I would do it without hesitation. I would give Martha alone 10 stars. As I had just got my nursing license, I had the lovely task of buying scrubs, as I was NOT going to wear my school scrubs (I gave those away..haha). I found this place through yelp and once again, yelp saved the day. Wasn't hard to find as there aren't too many stores around there...and RIGHT across the street is a rooftop parking structure for $3.75, awesome deal for being downtown LA. As I walked in, it's a super tiny shop with an overwhelming amount of scrubs from floor to ceiling. I thought to myself...oh man, this is going to take forever...and wasn't looking forward to it with the heat too. Was greeted by martha and a gentlman and asked what i was looking for (scrubs), solid or prints (going towards solids), size? (small i think?) ok..dickies or general brand (dickies please) was led to rack of solids and told once i find tops i like, they can match the bottoms. the more I looked, I decided I wanted print tops and Martha led me to my sizes. she told me to pull out what I want and that she can put back what I didn't want. Even though it looks chaotic, it's an organized chaos. haha. They know where their stuff is...so don't stress yourself out, they'll help you for sure. Then I went to try on the scrubs. Martha led me to the back with my armful of scrubs, put a board on top of the sink as a makeshift table and even placed a cover on top of the board for me. As for the reviews that said that the bathroom is dirty and small...well, Martha read those reviews and painted and cleaned the bathroom. It's funny because while i was changing, I thought to myself "hmmm...i wonder if she read her reviews cuz this bathroom is nothing like some of these people described!" and low and behold while we were conversing, she said she did read about that on yelp. (smart woman!) oh..when we first stepped in, she asked how we found out about her...was it from yelp? (yup!) haha. anywho..she let me try on other sizes, if it didn't fit me how i wanted, she gave me different styles and never even gave me attitude or anything for the pile of unwanted scrubs piling up. she never tried to push anything into my face, upsell me or anything. if anything, she gave me advice of just buying a nice set that i want...and that i can always come back and buy more later because if I don't know exactly where Im working yet, i might be wasting money because of certain protocols of places. so in the end, I bought two print tops and two pants, total $48. one set was a black label and they're like pajamas! which i know i would've prolly paid about $22+ just for the top alone! well, apparently while i was trying on clothes, Martha was having a conversation with my guy friend who was interested in business around there...after our transaction, she even walked us to show us a place that was for lease...and we just conversed the whole time while she said hello to people passing. I could've stayed there longer just to chat with her. She's found a new lifelong customer and I'll definately recommend her. Oh, btw...she said her scrubs are lucky...apparently people who go and buy her scrubs get called for interviews or for jobs...so she said expect a call soon. YAY! and since she knew i didn't get to buy all that i wanted, that she knew i'd be back soon :D oh and while i was there, other people passing also gave me recommendations on where to apply and who to call...networking...lovely lovely...thanks martha! read more

woot! first review!!! just came back from this place and had a pleasant experience. first off, this place is on Cecilia St, which is a small side street off of 9th St. There is a paid parking lot across from the shop for $3.50 flat rate all day. upon entering, a lady immediately greeted me and helped me find scrubs that i needed in my size and colors that i preferred. the shop is quite small and there are floor to ceiling shelves filled with scrubs. the lady was able to find the size and colors i wanted and the scrubs ranged anywhere from $10, $12, or $15 for a set (top and bottom), which isn't too shabby. they carry dickies, landau, and other brands. however, when i went there today, they didn't have too big of a selection of dickies scrubs...so that was a bit disappointing. on the right side first aisle, there's a bathroom with a full size mirror where you can try on scrubs. though it's a bit dirty in there, it served its purpose and i was able to try on as many scrubs as i wanted. i believe they take credit card since i saw a card scanning machine...but i can't be too sure because i paid in cash. after buying three full sets of scrubs (navy blue, sea green, and baby blue), my total was around ~$38 and change. i left satisfied and got what i was looking for. i'd definitely come back and also recommend it to anyone looking for cheap and decent medical scrubs! read more

Found this place on yelp. It's located in the heart of Fashion district in downtown LA. Couldn't find available street parking, but I was able to park in a lot across the street for $3. Came in for scrubs and got out within 10 minutes. They had great service and they helped me get exactly what I needed. Customer service was great. Instead of spending $30 for a pair of dickies scrubs, I was able to get a few sets of non-branded scrub pairs for $11 in a variety of colors. I actually prefer this generic brand to the dickies brand because there are more pockets and there's an elastic band for a more comfortable fit. Fabric seemed fine too (but I'm a dude...I'm not really a stickler for this stuff). Females have a lot of colorful options....I know my mom and sister want to check it out in the near future. Sasson Scrubs occasionally visit hospitals across southern california, so keep an eye out for them. I know they're going to my hospital in November. But if you're in need of scrubs, they have a lot of scrubs for males and females at a very nice price point. I'm glad I was able to check it out! read more

Never in my life have I experienced such rude, disrespectful, unprofessional and downright disgusting service. I called for a quote on monogramming and was instantly met with a horrible attitude. First she informs me she's not interested in what I need done then once she realized it could be a big job her interest shifted to "how would you be paying".
