    I had Ruben (a guy with knee problem and a limp) come over to check a condo HVAC. He suggested a…read moretakedown of the entire system from the ceiling to determine if there was a Freon leak (found none, but charged me $500 without a receipt). He then proceeded to the roof (where the compressor is) and determined that the capacitor is bad (changed). He also said that there is a leak, as the Freon was empty. We had set the next day for his next visit to fill the system with Freon and add a dye (a leak detector), but did not show up after multiple calls. Got a different company for a recheck. The Freon was full, and there was a fuse removal/disconnect (in the control box next to the compressor) that was obviously done by Ruben (no one touched the system since the original installation). And guess what: the system fired up once the fuse was connected, and started cooling like a charm. In summary: Ruben obviously tampered with the power supply to make it look as if the system was dead. There was no need for take down of the coil cover to check for leaks, there was no leak, and the Freon was full. The guy is a liar and a fraud. Don't let him get close to your house. If there was an option for negative stars, I would give him - minus 10.

    SmartAir was called to look into a condensation leak. Technician Pete reported it was a plumbing…read moreissue and couldn't fix it. While he was there he was asked to look at the furnace. Get story in perspective: Sister-in-law is care giver for husband. Home was designed by him 45 years ago. Like us things fail , like our home furnace's. He said you really need to fix the furnace. The gas company had already turned off the gas to the unit in fear of a serious problem resulting. He wasn't allowed to turn it back on and said she had to have another furnace. We got wind of the entire situation here in Tulsa. OK, and reached out to Smart Air management. I was instructed to contact their individual in the field. After explaining who I was, he was very very helpful in working with me in getting a new furnace ordered and installed TODAY! Young mans name is Pete! I'll be forever appreciative of his professionalism. He handling all my calls and did exactly what was needed. Less than 24 hours after contacting Smart Air, they installed the furnace complete. Smart Air deserves 6 STARS! Caring gets Pete an extra Star! Oh by the way, they worked so well with me, they gave me a discount and tore up the check for the initial house call.

I explained my issue and they had a technician come out less than 90 mins later. My technician was Pete and he went to work right away. Pete was able to fix my issues & the repair did not break my bank. Pete was beyond professional and I would recommend Smart Air on his customer service alone. Hoping I never have to call Smart Air again but if I do I will be in good hands. This service was worth the value.
