    Matcha with strawberry and oatmilk
    Victoria R.

Stopped by on a whim mid-day Thursday. Vibe is minimalistic and clean. Only seating is a bar height table facing the window with about 10 seats. I ordered a matcha with strawberry and oatmilk. Base order comes with whole milk and the price was $8.54 after tax. Alternative milk options available were oat and soy for an additional $1.25. My total was $9.92 before tip. Only one person was working, but my drink was ready in under 5 minutes. I didn't watch them make it, so unclear if the matcha is a premade mix. They did ask for my sweetness preference. I got regular sweetness. Flavor wise, it was strawberry milk with a bit of matcha flavor. Not upset about it! Might try half sweet next time to see if the matcha comes through more. The strawberry puree seemed fresh (house made per their website). The price per volume is typical of the area (for a specialty flavored matcha latte with alternative milk at $0.40 to $0.50 an ounce). Comes in a 24 ounce cup. Most places don't have sizes beyond 16 ounces. I did appreciate that it wasn't filled to the brim with ice. I'll for sure go back anytime I want a large matcha and quick service.

The drinks are okay and good value for the price with the buy 1 get 1 for $1 deal. (Came out to about $3.50 each) They're not spectacular or particularly amazing, but they're not grainy, watery, or otherwise bad. If you're out with a friend this would be a nice place to stop at for a less expensiubve boba drink. We can't always be dropping $7+ for one drink... The shop itself is nice and clean and there are mangas and some games to borrow. The seating is hightop counters only. The cashier was helpful in picking out a vegan drink. The matcha drinks, smoothies, and a few milk teas (thai, caramel, brulee, and a few others) are not able to be veganized. But luckily most of the milk tea drinks are already made with non-dairy creamer. Sign up with your phone number for rewards.

Ran into this place and said why not. It's a small business tucked away off broadway in Seattle. They are known for the Tea's and drink. It was quiet inside when I walked in and I think they just opened. I ordered a Strawberry Shake & Popcorn Chicken. Strawberry Shake was good and reminds me of Boba Tea. The Popcorn Chicken taste as if it had too much seasoning....not bad just letting you know. Overall if you're in the area stop by and check it out.

A cute little coffee coffee in Capitol Hill about a 15 min walk from the downtown area. They had a buy one, get one for $1 promotion when we came but this excludes other blended yogurt drinks (we found out the hard way when we came back a second time). Their strawberry yogurt was a delight! For yogurt lovers, this has the perfect consistency of tart, thick, yogurty goodness. We got it at 25% sweet and it was perfect (maybe even a tad sweet). Make sure to shake it up and stir well to make the drink consistent throughout! Otherwise you'll end up with lots sweet purée and tart yogurt layers. We also got their Peach yogurt - also at 25% sweet and that one was noticeably less sweet than the strawberry and had less ice chunks. Their Rose Yakult was very okay - you can't adjust sweetness so it felt overwhelmingly strong with rose, Yakult, and maybe even a slight lychee flavor. We thought it was a bit artificial tasting but was okay. Service both times were super friendly, with the folks behind the counter explaining drinks and giving helpful recommendations!

I had the biggest craving for bubble tea after grabbing Korean corn dogs nearby, so I stumbled in from the rain and tried their rose yogurt with pearls. It was lightly sweet, fruity (not very rosy), and served as a great palate cleanser. My friends got their brulee ceylon milk tea and the black tea milkshake, and everyone liked their drinks. I had a good experience here and will pop by again to try their milk teas and taro drinks as those are my markers for a decent boba shop. Their space was small and minimalistic, but it was not uncomfortable in the shop, and their staff were diligently wiping the condensation off the windows and cleaning the place throughout our visit.

Tiny shop that I never noticed until I was actively searching for a quick boba stop after downing korean corn dogs across the street. This is the first place i've seen that offers Yakult syrup so I was very excited to try it. Unfortunately 2 of my partner's choices were sold out so he got a milkshake, and the teen got a creme brulee swirled affair. All in all we enjoyed our drinks. We didn't know they had had a Buy One, get One for $1 promo. That was a nice surprise. The store itself could use a good cleaning/brightening and it's not really a place where you can sit and hang out for a while. Good for quick takeout IMO

    Hokkaido milk tea with boba

My friend and I came here due to it being one of the better boba places, but it didn't really meet our expectations. We found out that there was a buy one get one $1 which was a great deal. I got the hokkaido milk tea with boba which was decent and sweet, but my friend didn't like her phoenix milk tea. I definitely wished that the drinks would have more tea flavor rather than milk/water. I also noticed that the place wasn't the cleanest since there were flies which led us to leave right after we got our drinks. Not sure if I will be back without the deal.

Hokkaido Milk Tea (left, 0/5) and Brulee Ceylon Milk Tea (right, 1/5)
    Thaila N.

Definitely one of the worst milk teas I've ever had. The hokkaido milk tea barely had any hokkaido flavor and was extremely watery - no taste of tea at all. The boba was chewy but flavorless. I got two drinks for about $8 with the BOGO drink for $1 promo. Even though this was a good value, I still would not come back or recommend. This was the first time I genuinely could not finish my milk tea - because I love milk tea and I hate wasting food - but the drink was too bad to drink. There are so many better spots to get boba/milk tea in Seattle.

I got the Brûlée Tea again because I enjoyed it last time! It was sweet but not overly so, but the boba was on the soft side, so this was a weak 5 star experience, but the boba was better last time, so I plan on coming back.

Royal Milk Tea and Rose Milk Tea
    Daniel S.

I tried the Royal Milk Tea and the Rose Milk Tea, 25% sugar. Both of them had almost no taste. The Royal Milk Tea had only the slightest hint of tea flavor (if you concentrated really hard). The Rose had no hint of rose, although at least I could taste a bit of tea tannins. They both tasted just like icy milk. I also tried the Hokkaido Milk Tea a while ago, and thought the same about it. The best thing about this place was the BOGO-for-$1 deal, which means this is some of the cheapest milk tea in Seattle if you buy two. Maybe some of their other drinks are better, but none of the milk teas I've tried are worth it.

    16. Mango Yogurt
    Kevin X.

Mango Yogurt is it. Sweet, tart, mango-ey, hits all the spots. The boba was thankfully a perfect texture. 10/10 for the yogurt drink lovers.

Mango Blended Yogurt and Classic Milk Tea with Boba
    Generous Y.

Strong boba, was not expecting it to be this good honestly. Not sure why, just had a hunch and it was proven wrong. I suspect it's because there's also food offered and many boba cafes tend to have super powdery drinks that taste awful. Interior is small so don't expect to stay long. However, the interior also has tons of drawings and sketches from customers. They have pencils, pens, and sticky notes so you can add to their art collection. Love that it gives a hobby to enjoy while waiting for drinks but also just to enjoy while you're chatting with friends. Classic Milk Tea with Boba - a great ratio of creaminess to tea flavor. Strong milk tea, Hokkaido-like with a hint of caramelly sweetness. I really enjoyed the boba here as it was not only chewy, but also had flavor in it's sweetness. Definitely one of the better spots for boba as a topping. Mango Blended Yogurt - so creamy with real mango chunks! Mango taste is definitely present along with the viscosity of the yogurt.

Hokkaido tea with boba and less ice.

Capitol Hill has gained several places offering boba tea over the past few years, and Tea Addicts is my favorite. It's a small place with 7 seats for those who want to dine in, serving just variations on boba tea and Taiwanese popcorn chicken. They get pretty busy, and often have a dozen or more orders lined up for take out. You can order ahead on their website to avoid the line. Other places have more elaborate toppings, but I like my boba tea to taste like tea, and Tea Addicts has excellent tea! My favorite is the Hokkaido tea, which tastes like an earthy, roasted tea, with hints of caramel.

You really can't go wrong with any of the drinks but my all time favorites are the tieguanyin oolong milk tea with toppings and the strawberry milk tea, which I believe they have now rebranded to strawberry smoothie. Sugar is adjustable which is great because I love my drinks less sweet. I got the strawberry smoothie and bff milk tea this time, which I believe is black milk tea with egg pudding and grass jelly, and I added egg pudding. So delicious and creamy, and the smoothie does not give off an artificial fruit taste. One thing that was off-putting to me was the signage indicating their kiosk. The makeshift, handwritten message to turn around and use the kiosk seems passive aggressive and gives off the message that the workers do not want to talk to you. Other than that, we got our drinks pretty fast since it wasn't busy near closing, which was when I went.
