Crème Brûlée Milk Tea with Boba
    Mosa H.

Yummyyy! The Crème Brûlée Boba Milk Tea was so indulgent of me and could have been an entire meal. Boba was super soft and just the right amount of chewy. I think I inhaled this in 2 minutes. Grab and go spot with a small bench for waiting.

Was actually on the way somewhere else when we noticed Sunright was open in Capitol Hill! After successfully opening around the Greater Seattle Area, the franchise continues to expand. Sunright is pretty popular around LA where I believe it was founded and got pretty trendy for the modern take on aesthetic and sunny vibes to brighten any day hence the name. A bit of a contrast to Seattle's weather, but hopefully the drinks make any day livelier. Extremely limited seating and compact space, so not the best for long conversations. Solid for grab and go, perhaps to Cal Anderson! Two tablets available for ordering. Friendly service. Fragrant Oolong Original Tea w/ Boba - as their new release across the chain, I expected this to be a competitor to the premium jasmine teas (e.g. Molly Tea) but it's not. It's a slightly more floral oolong, leaning more towards green tea. Aromatic and light, similar to an osmanthus oolong. Boba was QQ, bouncy, and flavorful. Jasmine Milk Tea w/ Sunny Jelly - for a classic, more floral green tea, the jasmine is competitive than most spots around. It's slightly better with more flavor and aroma. Milk isn't heavy and supplements the tea, allowing the jasmine flavors to still shine. Sunny jelly seems to be a basic tea jelly, but also QQ with a light tea flavor.

New bubble tea spot opened in Capital Hill. I was excited to try this place since they're very popular in California. Their drinks are solid, boba is very soft, and chewy. We got the strawberry yakult drink and it was super refreshing. Love that we can adjust their sugar and ice level as well. Customer service is quick. Place is nice and clean.

Great place to get Boba and other drinks, conveniently located in the middle of Capitol Hill, they have great service and easy to order system. Overall, I recommend and would come back.

It was so clean and slick. The menu had milk tea, tea latte, flavored tea, pink salt cheese crema, alongside 10 different toppings. Sugar and ice level were customizable. I ordered the crema mango tea and the signature milk tea. The baristas were helpful. They took the ordered and prepared the drinks in few minutes. The mango crema was so delicious. The bobas were sweet, soft and chewy. I loved the flavor so much, finished the whole drink in 10 minutes.

You really can't go wrong with any of the drinks but my all time favorites are the tieguanyin oolong milk tea with toppings and the strawberry milk tea, which I believe they have now rebranded to strawberry smoothie. Sugar is adjustable which is great because I love my drinks less sweet. I got the strawberry smoothie and bff milk tea this time, which I believe is black milk tea with egg pudding and grass jelly, and I added egg pudding. So delicious and creamy, and the smoothie does not give off an artificial fruit taste. One thing that was off-putting to me was the signage indicating their kiosk. The makeshift, handwritten message to turn around and use the kiosk seems passive aggressive and gives off the message that the workers do not want to talk to you. Other than that, we got our drinks pretty fast since it wasn't busy near closing, which was when I went.

My niece suggested that we see if this place was actually Seattle Best Tea. The interior was crowded, so we thought that it must be a popular place. There were people standing in line and a small group sitting in the back of the shop. Service was efficient and polite. I was told that wintermelon tea cannot be served hot. That's ok... I can drink it with less ice on a chilly, cloudy afternoon. Since toppings were free, I got rainbow jelly. Yay! Thank you! We'll be back if we're in the area again!

They had a lot of tea options, so we had to make sure we're getting the right one. My gf is obsessed with milk tea, and been on the hunt for the phoenix oolong. So far this is the only place she's been able to find in Seattle that sells it. I ordered the Rock milk tea, and it had a strong tea flavor and a good dark aroma. It's exactly the way I like my milk tea! I feel this place to be authentic with their tea leaves, and they seem to be really knowledgeable about their menu. So if you're really specific with your tea flavors, or just want to try something different than your usual black or green tea, then I recommend this.

Luckily everyone was patient and can clearly see he was working hard, and he did let us know that it might take a while. He was a hard worker. The boba place is very tea forward with a variety of options. There were a handful of drinks that had an interesting name, such as, Iron Buddha, but I wish there was a description of what the drink was. I didn't want to ask too many questions given the growing line. I don't think any of the drinks included toppings, so that's an additional charge. I guess it's been a while since I had boba cause the average price was $7-8 without any toppings! The drink was great and tasted delicious, but the operation itself can be better.
