I always come here with my kids usually everything is perfect, but not today. I ordered 3 tea with bobas and it didn't even get filled at the top. Very disappointing. I also noticed that they charge 3% for credit card fees, which I know a lot of restaurants are starting to do that. I don't love it, but it is what it is. BUT legally, they are supposed to have a sign somewhere up front that says that they are charging that amount. I didn't even know until I look at my receipts and saw 3% being charged. I came back again to try different drinks from last time. Service was awesome again as usual! I got their seasonal Mardi Gras Taro Slush with Boba ($5.50 + $0.50 for extra Whip Cream + $0.50 for Boba) and their Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Boba ($5.50 + $0.50 for Boba). I really liked the Mardi Gras Taro Slush! The extra sweetness from the colored King Cake sugar & whip cream added more creaminess to the Taro drink. The Brown Sugar Milk Tea was just okay in my opinion; nothing too special, but still not bad. I also tried their Roti with Condensed Milk ($5.00) & Coconut Waffle ($4.50). I always get Roti whenever I go to a Thai restaurant, so I wanted to give it a try here too. It was pretty good. Same as the ones in different Thai restaurants, so no complaints on that part! Their Coconut Waffle was decent, but I wished it was crunchier and more rich in flavor. As always, the prices here are very reasonable. They also decorated the inside to match up with Lunar New Year since the holiday is coming soon...the decor looks so cute! I would definitely come back again. I love that Belle Chasse has a tapioca drink place now! I love these and am so excited that I don't have to go out of my way to get one now, although it's probably dangerous how close it is to me too. I got the Thai tea drink because I feel like these are pretty standard everywhere I go and is my measure of how good a place is. It's got the right amount of sweetness, but the Huy coffee was a bit strong, I wouldn't mind if it was a little sweeter. I was surprised that they offered some food; I'll have to come back another time to try a crepe. Personally, I wish they had more options for coffee but I think they have a pretty good selection and plenty of different drinks to try! read more

I'm pretty basic when it comes to boba. I will get taro, green tea/matcha, or an avocado smoothie most of the time. I really like their Taro here. It's kind of addicting. Definitely my go-to spot now since it's closer than others. Thank you Tea Bar for fostering my taro addiction. The taro here is much more taro-y here. I dont know what it was once it melted down a little bit, it was almost like you can taste the actual taro. Even if it wasn't the actual taro, I loved it. Workers are nice and the place is super clean. Highly recommend trying it out. read more

The ambience here is great! I love the aesthetics. The customer service is great as well; everyone is so nice and welcoming. I have a couple favorites, but my top ones would be the Thai Green Milk Tea and the Huy Coffee! As for the food, the Taiyaki Pepperoni is my favorite! read more

8 dollars crepe? Yes please! Not only were the crepes fresh but it was crispy! I asked for a bacon and Nutella, although it wasn't on the menu and they served it to me anyways. The crepe couldn't be more perfect and affordable compared to Crepe A La Cart for a soggy one. The drinks were so good, I had the green milk tea with tapioca and my partner got a mango slush. I basically drank both drinks since they were both delicious. The tapioca was SO SOFT. Softest boba I've ever chewed on. But that's how I prefer my boba. Did not disappoint. Is this love? Let me preface this review by saying I've never had a crepe before but if this was it, it's exactly what I imagined it would be... A thinner, crispier pancake. It's a bit of drive westbankers, you'll have to make the trek out to Belle Chasse. But, it's worth it! I took a chance and ordered ubereats on a whim. The gods must've been in my favor because my order arrived early and it somehow maintained it's crisp and freshness. I couldn't believe it so I had to go for myself the next day. What a cute and charming spot! There's an array of restaurants in the strip so I can see people dining in the area and coming to the tea bar for dessert. Ordering was a breeze and the service was impeccable. I wish I would've taken pictures of my order but I honestly ordered so much. And they took the time to carefully pack each item.. I knew I wouldn't have been able to put it back the same way they packed it. The traffic and the construction was almost comical. I didn't think I would ever make it home from Manhattan. But atlas, I did and it was still as good as it was the first time. Get the Nutella crepe!!! I would like to see an ingredient list. My crêpe with bacon, egg, cheese, and mayo was delicious. I just like to know what's in my food ingredients wise. The ambience is appealing and the service was immediate and efficient. They took care to prepare my food, even though they were just about to close in a few minutes. My family frequents this place a lot . My two year old is addicted to the vietnamese refreshers (we cut it with water-so no need to tell me it's too sugary for a child). My husband LOVES the pineapple slush with strawberry boba and whip cream (Instagram recommended). It's great having a boba place nearby! I've had the huy coffee and it's ok but not the coffee I'm used to. The strawberry soda was great too. We have tried the crepes and they are good. The fish waffle things are ok. Such a wonderful little spot! The background music was playing a wide variety of hits, there were games to keep little ones occupied, and it was so clean!
