    The Galaxy ($6.25) + Aloe Vera ($0.75) = $7.00

This place is so underrated! They just opened last February, but deserve so much more love! For drinks, I ordered the Au Lait "Milk Tea on Fire" ($6.75), the Galaxy ($6.25), and the Lychee Strawberry Rose Tea ($6.25). First of all, the Au Lait "Milk Tea on Fire" was so delicious! It's basically a Brown Sugar Milk Tea, but the taste was so rich and flavorful. They also used real brown sugar for this drink, so the authenticity was on par! In my opinion, this drink is better than Ding Tea's Monster Boba Tea. This drink is actually on Tiger Sugar's Black Sugar Milk Tea level to be honest with all of you. For the Galaxy, this drink had a sweet and sour taste to it (in a good way). It took me a while to get used to the flavor since it was different from what I usually drink. It's more of a soda based drink due to the carbonation I tasted, but overall I enjoyed it. I would drink this during a hot day (which is almost everyday in Louisiana haha). For the Lychee Strawberry Rose Tea, this drink had a refreshing taste. It wasn't overly sweet, but the strawberry taste was highly noticeable. As for the lychee part, I didn't really notice it when I drank this tea. This drink was just okay to me, but not bad at all. I should also mention that their cheesecakes tasted really good! I got their Matcha Cheesecake Slice ($6.50) and their Bischoff Cookie Cheesecake Slice ($6.50). They were both so creamy and soft. The decor was simple and clean, yet also a bit trendy at the same time. They have some board games available for customers to play with as well. The owner of this Boba shop was really welcoming and nice when I came in. Thé Au Lait is definitely a hidden gem in the West Bank, but I hope to see them succeed as soon as possible!

Was in the area on the Westbank and decided to stop in and give this place a try. The service was fast and the person working the front counter was really pleasant. I didn't get a chance to pack pictures of the drinks but we had the Lychee Strawberry Rose Tea and the Royal Thai Tea. Both were really good, but I really liked the fact that the rose tea came with real strawberries. It's very cute and cozy in the building and it's perfect if you need somewhere to catch up on reading or maybe Nextflix. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area.

Service was very quick. I liked how clean the interior was and i could see it as a really cute place to hang out with friends. The drinks were super good, I got the brown sugar while my boyfriend got the strawberry matcha. I preferred the brown sugar over his drink though. I could see myself coming here again!

I would give a 3.5 rating if it was an option. This place is definitely underrated. It's fairly new, and it seems like most people don't even know it's open. It's located in a corner, so if you weren't really looking for it, then, you'd probably wouldn't see it. There is a variety on the menu, along with desserts. The peach oolong tea was very refreshing. I've had the Strawberry Matcha Latte twice, and this time, it disappointed. There was too much matcha powder and not enough strawberry. However, it was great when I had it the first time. The Thai Milk Green Tea was pretty good; I would get this one again. It's a clean and nice environment to hang out with your friends and catch up. I would recommend trying it at least once.

One of the better boba shops around. The typical atmosphere of boba shops. Service was friendly. The drinks weren't too sweet.

Desserts were good and they have bursting bobaaaa for their toppings!!! Personally the strawberry matcha latte was more bitter than expected so next time I would get it sweeter, but the lychee strawberry rose tea was superbbb

Love this place. I love Thai tea and hate having to go to a full service restaurant to get it so finding this place was life and gas saving. The cashier, I'm sure the owner, is such a hard worker and is patient. The shake machine ensures that the drinks are fully mixed which I LOVE! it's cool to watch. There's so many topping options to choose from. I've gone multiple times in the last week - only taking pictures on the most recent visit. In the short time, I racked up enough points to receive discounts so that is a great incentive to return even more. It's nice that when you pay with a card, the system will automatically award points during the next visit since it recognizes that the card belongs to your number ( after you sign up). The cafe has a few mixed smells. There's a eucalyptus candle burning coupled with coffee and powders. There's nice seating tables inside and benches outside so that you can relax while waiting for the drink or hang out with friends. It's rarely packed which makes it a good place to connect to wifi and get some work done. She offers happy hour for the last hour where desserts are discounted. Now to review the beverages that I've had. The Royal thai tea - Great, traditional thai tea. Not too sweet. Mango passion tea- a bit on the unsweetened side but can request it be sweetened. Did not have a strong mango taste. Peach mango green tea - I believe that I was given peach oolong since she hadn't made a sticker or option in her ordering system for the new addition to the menu. It was not good. Didn't taste like mango at all- which I'm sure again is because it was not the tea I ordered- and was bland like lightly flavored water. Piña colada - not as good as what I would get on an island or a restaurant but you get a lot for the price and it holds up well if you freeze it and then slowly defrost and drink it later Lyche coconut - soooo good! So sweet with that expected lychee taste. I am a fan of lychee, rambutan and other fruits of the sort. If you haven't tried them or don't like them, this isn't the drink for you.

    Ube cheesecake

It was excellent and the vibe is chill. Will be back here soon. The price is good and they have lots of drink n cake choices for you. Come check this out.

Super cute tea shop tucked away on the terrytown parkway. All the pastries were super super good, and it's a great place to read a book.

This unassuming spot in a strip mall was gorgeous inside. And it serves coffee, pastries, ice cream plus y'know candy. AND they roast their own nuts, spices and I guess coffee beans. There were definitely folks hanging out and enjoying a Turkish style coffee... I guess either the caffeine doesn't hit them the way it does me or they had no plans to sleep. The candy isn't labeled 100% correctly but you kind of know that gummy worms are not gummy strawberries. I tried an assortment bag of gummies and some of chocolates and the price was by the pound. Re got some freshly roasted unsalted cashews and they were delicious! Parking is easy in the strip mall lot. And as you step in you definitely leave Louisiana and step into another country.

They also carry some gummy and chocolate varieties, some spices, some boxed coffee, some Middle Eastern pastries. Only some things were labeled with either what it was or the price of it, so that was a little disorienting. I was surprised to find a cafe and gelato bar inside. The gelato flavors were incredible. I settled on popcorn caramel and baklava in a waffle bowl. An employee said that everything was made in-house. The price was standard considering that all was made there. The service was weird. I kept getting served after people who'd gotten there after me. My ice cream scoops were significantly smaller than my boyfriend's. Returning isn't high on my list of priorities, but I'm glad I tried them.

Dough Nguyener's Bakery -- 4…read more Dough Nguyener's really introduced me and my son to the flavors of ube and pandan... and I still can't believe I went my whole life without them. Like where have I been?! We are forever grateful for that alone. As someone who already loves Vietnamese culture through food here in New Orleans, this place just hits. Vietnamese coffee is a staple for me--not even for energy, but for the flavor. If you know, you know... that bold, strong, chicory-meets-condensed-milk moment. It's rich, it's cultural, it's intentional. And when you start adding things like pandan cold foam? Simple, but it speaks volumes about the influence and beauty of the Vietnamese community here. I respect it, deeply. Now let's talk about that Croffle... a croissant-waffle situation. I went with the Chantilly and berries because... you already know, I'm gonna choose what feels like home every time. The cream was smooth, the fruit was fresh, everything worked. My only thing--personally--it was a little heavy on the almonds for me. Still good, just my preference. We also had The American--eggs, bacon, French ham, hand-cut fries, garlic aioli, and a baguette. I shared it with my son and made my own little sandwich moment with it. Used the aioli as a base, layered the eggs, bacon, and ham... and I feel like that's exactly what it was meant for. Solid, simple, and filling. I've tried a few other things too like the bánh mì and donuts. The bánh mì was good, donuts were okay... not my go-to for that. But that frozen cocktail? Listen... it was TOO good. Took it to a festival with me and between that drink and that sun, I slept the whole festival away lol. Overall, I'll definitely be back. I still want to try more from the kitchen--especially that chicken everybody keeps talking about. This is a great spot for early weekend brunch, late evening studying, or weekday coffee runs. Not too small, not too big. Beautiful lighting. A really good addition to Gretna.
