This café is the perfect place to get amazing Boba and just as amazing macarons. They have a wide selection of drinks and toppings, and there brown sugar milk tea with Boba is incredible. The cups are sturdy, the quality is great, and the boba is very fresh, sweet, chewy and springy. Now for the macarons. My friend and I initially just got three macarons. We got an Ube flavor, a strawberry flavor, and a honey lemon. To say these were the best macarons I've ever had would be an understatement. These were so fresh and delicate and had the perfect amount of chewiness and sweetness. They were perfect in every way I expect this decadent dessert to be. It was so good that we actually came here a second time in the same day to get more! This next time, we got a dozen of them! The pricing here is honestly not bad at all. Each one costs $2.80, and you can get a full dozen for about $26 + tax. I will definitely come here again in the future! read more

Its a cute place, but I went there a few times and ordered a lavender milk tea and they give me thai tea instead, I realised when I got home. They keep messing it up and I asked a friend to try my drink to see if they also tasted thai tea and they did. The lavender tea is usually purple and the tea was orange. read more

Nice little place right on Barataria offering various drinks and little desserts. Your usual bubble tea spot which has you looking through different types of flavors to choose from. The barista was very nice and helped right away. She is usually working by herself, but has developed a good routine with customer service. No complaints here with my drinks ordered which they were all nicely made without having a generic, powdery taste. Def would recommend if you're looking for a sweet treat! read more

I went to their soft opening, one of their first customers! I am so excited about this place. Inside is sleek with tables and a couch. They have a few plants and decorations too. They have the clAssic boba flavors with some unique in house drinks like the Sky Blue and Dream House Taro. The also have macaroons, cupcakes, and small cakes. Definitely a plus!!! The macaroon flavors I got were ube, green tea, black sesame and more I can't remember. The staff were really nice and helpful too. I've been really enjoying boba and fruit teas lately and I was super excited to stumble across this spot in my neck of the woods. It's pretty ducked off in a tiny shopping center, so if you aren't looking for it you'd for sure miss it. So far I've gotten drinks from them twice and really enjoyed them. The first time I ordered online and I must say I enjoyed how easy it was and all of the options they had for customizing your beverage. I particularly liked that you could customize your sweetness level (even for someone with a large sweet tooth, as I get older it takes less and less to satisfy). So far, I've had the lychee passion fruit and peach teas. I love that they're made with real fruit; I enjoy the added texture and flavor it gives. You can get your drinks topped with your choice of several different types of boba or jellies. I went with the lychee jelly for both and it was yummy. The shop itself is quite intimate and quaint. There are few spots for sitting, but I'm not sure it's large enough to set up shop and hang out for a while. Their other claim to fame is their macarons. I've never been a huge fan of macarons, but the one's here look so delicious I may have to give them another try. They're made in house and seem to have some really creative flavors. My husband purchased some macaroons for me from here right before Halloween. Absolutely amazing! I loved the variety packed in the box! They were fresh and had so much flavor! There wasn't a single one I didnt love! This is the only place I will buy macaroons. The cookies and cream [blue striped one] was by far my favorite but really I enjoyed all of them. Dream House never fails me, their price has gone up a few cents but it's worth the money. My boyfriend put me on to his favorite, Peach Kiwi with lychee jelly. He claims they put it specifically on the menu for him Lol. I even tried the Pandan Cake as a birthday cake, it was very Interesting and not what I'm used to but very moist and soft. This is more similar to a Share Tea or a Kung Fu tea ... they have milk teas and jasmine teas and fruit infused teas / refreshers. You won't find fruit slushies here or boba type teas with fruit jelly etc. Place is really cute and the two staff members are very sweet and patient when I made my huge order (ordered for the family). I personally tried the oolong honey milk tea and it was really good. The classic black milk tea was good too. I really like their aiyu jelly topping (you must add toppings individually). There's plenty of macaron flavors and they all looked so beautiful but I'll have to give them a try next time!! They also have cakes in the refrigerated section with fruit toppings that looked pretty good as well. Overall, they're new. Despite its somewhat secluded location along Barataria, Dream House Cafe sported a solid array of drinks including the strawberry matcha milk tea and peach green tea. I had both on multiple occasions and they were great choices to get a taste of what Dream House has to offer, consistency and quality drinks with fairly quick service! My favorite macarons! The buttercream is super thick and creamy and not too sweet. And the cookie is soft and chewy. All of their flavors are unique and delicious. They also sell crepe cakes and offer cakes to order. Definitely will be back. read more

Best milk tea, we tried the caramel milk tea and I love when I can taste the herbs from the tea. Try the macaroons, we recommend strawberry shortcake, Ube(purple yam) the salted caramel is out of this world! And almond if you like nutty flavors. The cheesecake was fresh! Came here to support the local biz in the midst of covid 19. Clean facility. The owner was super sweet. She had a good selection of macaroons and cakes by the slice available. I ordered the strawberry matcha drink and it was so good! She plans on staying open for take outs only so please show her some love. this is my second time trying dream house and I went into the store to order. There's only one person working and after my order was taken. A door dash driver came in. The employee proceed to make the DoorDash order, which was supposed to be done already. And then another DoorDash driver came in and that order was not finished yet and my order was not even started. He proceeded to make the DoorDash order while I've even sitting here for now 17 minutes waiting for my order. I'm literally sitting in the shop typing this post. Ordered the lychee passion fruit tea with tapioca pearls. Overall pretty good, I was impressed that they used real lychee fruit and passion fruit in the drinks instead of just artificial syrup. The pearls were soft but they don't add sweetener or syrup to the boba which some people may not enjoy but I thought it worked well with the tea. This place is on the pricier side for $5-6 per drink with boba but it does offer unique flavors and better presentation than other places. read more

I heard about this place. So I decided to give it a try, To start I'm a person who prefers small local businesses, and this fits the bill, it's clearly a family business, first thing I noticed was they actually make the macarons, so I thought that was cool, my goal was to pick up a basic tea which they have, but then I saw all these people, leaving with these amazing colorful drinks, It was fun watching the excitement in their eyes as they received their drinks, and the sound of Mmmm this is really good, so I decided to leave the basic tea for another day. A lovely little westbank treat! This place is small but cozy, and that's just the way I like it. I love Bobba Tea Cafes, but the ones that are huge chains can be a bit robotic or busy. This place is super nice and super friendly. The cakes are tasty, and their tea styles are a lot different than most of the ones at other places. I love how tropical their drinks feel, and all of the plants around just make the place nicer. The owners and people running the place are super cool and are fun to chat to, so go and say hi! It's a great spot for your Bobba Tea needs. Today I caught them on the first day they were trying out their Korean BBQ Bahn Mi it was great. The bread was toasted just right, the fresh veggies were on point, and The Sauce was Firee. I love the whole experience. My main go to tho the Passionfruit Lychee Tea another level of good. Also the Anime Decorations and selection that is available for you to purchase gives you a nostalgic feel! read more

Dream House Cafe is a weekend must for us! The service is always fast and the coffee is always strong and tasty. They make unique drinks with fresh ingredients. It was rude and unprofessional. Customer service matters just as much as the food. A smile and a little kindness go a long way, especially when interacting with families. Based on this experience, we won't be returning. I hope management addresses the customer service, because one employee can completely change the atmosphere of an otherwise great business.

Anyways for Easter she asked everyone what they liked my brother specifically told her cars , and she got him Psoriasis shampoo as a GIFT ?????? while others got art set , makeup , etc. told him she got him the shampoo to take off for 2 weeks until he gets his condition under control. Mind you he sees a doctor on his own as he gets treated for this . She claims she got him this because it was a "health hazard" rather than asking him to get a hairnet or at least providing it for them. It wasn't a health hazard when she first hired him so why after 2 months of him working she decides to tell my brother to take off. She also proceeded to tell another employee "it was a health hazard and it could be getting into toppings and drinks so she told him to go home till it gets fixed if she sees improvement he can comeback if not, she have to keep trying???? with him. she said she swept it up and showed my brother, and she called his condition "snowflakes". Psoriasis is not contagious and poses no direct health hazard to coworkers in a workplace. On top of that disgusting idea of a gift she asked another employee in front of my brother if he was slow. Was also told the other employees are allowed to take small breaks when the room is empty meanwhile she always gives my brother more tasks than others. She also sends them home for small stupid reasons one of them being her messing up a drink and blaming it on them and when told to look back at the cameras she throws a tantrum and sends them home mid shift. She also texted him i'm a vicitm in this situation apology which I will have attatched. This is cross posted everywhere and will reach many people as I can reach.

I settled on popcorn caramel and baklava in a waffle bowl. An employee said that everything was made in-house. The price was standard considering that all was made there. The service was weird. I kept getting served after people who'd gotten there after me. My ice cream scoops were significantly smaller than my boyfriend's. Returning isn't high on my list of priorities, but I'm glad I tried them.

There were definitely folks hanging out and enjoying a Turkish style coffee... I guess either the caffeine doesn't hit them the way it does me or they had no plans to sleep. The candy isn't labeled 100% correctly but you kind of know that gummy worms are not gummy strawberries. I tried an assortment bag of gummies and some of chocolates and the price was by the pound. Re got some freshly roasted unsalted cashews and they were delicious! Parking is easy in the strip mall lot. And as you step in you definitely leave Louisiana and step into another country.
