Tea leaf cafe is my favorite non-alcoholic hang out spot in the evening. In fact, in Hamburg, it might be the last one left! Anyways they have a huge selection of all things tea. Hot, iced, milk teas, premium, flavored, sweetened, popping bobas, pearls, etc. they are always happy to help you choose, with such a huge menu, bringing someone new sometimes feels like you'll overwhelm them, but the staff is always kind. read more

Good, enjoyed it. I have only been here a couple of times, whereas I've been to the other location at least 500 times (not kidding), I used to hang out there for hours on end. Some pretty bad things happened to me there, which is why I stopped going, but it's most definitely not the owner's fault and it's definitely not anything to do with the products at all. I was lucky enough to run into the owner (Tony) in Houston in what was a pretty amazing coincidence. The guy is a good guy, and it was lovely to see him. I thought it was awesome that he recognized me. I'd definitely come back in here or to the other location which I spent so much time in, if I am ever up in Buffalo again, which I'm sure I will be. Lots of great memories for me, and an owner who I'm happy to call my friend, and I'll always love the taste of that milk tea with honey instead of sugar and I like it even better with the almond milk! And it's now painted somewhat blue on the inside... maybe they should call it Teal Leaf! read more

Today I stopped to get an iced tea to enjoy in the rare bit of warmth and sun. I got the iced green boba tea with kiwi and pomegranate flavoring with the pomegranate bursting boba. I've been a TLC customer ever since I was a freshman in college. They have the best teas in the Buffalo area and their milk tea options are not too "milk-y." I've never been to this location, but decided to give it a try this past weekend when I went to Woodlawn Beach. You order via their website and grab your drink from their side door. The process was super easy. I ordered a mango passionfruit with extra bubbles and less sugar. Their smoothies come in their large size only. It's a little much for me, and I wish they had a regular size for smoothies. The less sugar option was perfect for me. My drink didn't feel watered down at all. I always get extra bubbles because they don't seem to give enough bubbles. It's not a big deal thought because it's only 25 cents extra versus other places that charge 50 cents for your first scoop. I also highly recommend their taro milk tea. That's also one of my faves! I love TLC and will always come back! They're my go to place here for BT. read more

There is a shelf on the right side when you enter and that is where the orders sit. They are not accepting orders by phone or in the restaurant due to the current situation. It's so nice to have a place to get bubble tea in the southtowns. We stopped in to check out the place and grab a drink. The Blasdell location packs just as much of a punch as the original location in Amherst! The ordering process has changed due to COVID, but I can't complain. You can order by phone or online, if you order through their website it's super easy to customize your drink. You'll get a text once your order is ready, then you go to the side door where they'll have it sitting on a shelf. Very easy! I do love all the options they have for tea flavors and toppings. They offer lychee jelly which I absolutely love and add to each of my orders. My only gripe is that I don't believe you're able to customize your desired sweetness level. The fruit tea here is insanely sweet, no matter the flavor. If I could have a "less sweet" option for my tea, I'd be the happiest girl in the world. read more

Currently because of Covid-19, this business is takeout only. You can't eat in. You can't pay inside for takeout either. You must order online and pay online. They aren't offering food right now, only desserts and drinks. I was disappointed but I guess it makes sense at this current time of the pandemic. I ordered a hot chai tea with skim milk and sugar. I didn't add boba bubbles or any of those funky things. It would've tasted weird in a hot tea. I received a text after ordering and a text when my drink was ready to be picked up. You need to enter the business through the side door. There is a digital sign to the left of the door. On the left hand side of the sign, it mentions whose orders are in progress. On the right hand side it mentions whose orders are ready for pick up. The entrance is blocked by a big bookcase type structure with slots in it. In the openings there are orders that are ready to be picked up. My drink was in a paper bag with a sticker for my name and my order was taped to the front. I thanked them, grabbed my order and left. The employees seemed hard at work and it is a nice system during the pandemic. I'll probably wait a couple months to return, to see if things have changed. read more

Finally a bubble tea place in the south towns! Upon walking in the location is very open and smells great! The menu is huge, lots of tea options and even some small plates to enjoy for a small bite! The staff was friendly and excited to be there! Upon ordering I got a loganberry black tea with boba and rainbow jelly! The combo was delicious and I would have never thought that flavor combo would be that addicting! We also got a cold taro milk tea with the regular tapioca pearls and lychee jellies. The flavor was solid, faint on the taro taste but the jellies really made up with sweetness. They have some kinks to work out just because they are just opening but with the way they were ready for their customers was a breath of fresh air. Everyone is really knowledgeable about all the flavors and combos . I often just say make me something tropical and let them make me something. Although I have only been there twice. They're bubble tea selection is insane, you can basically find any fruit flavored milk tea. i was excited to try this branch coz its closer to me but was kinda disappointed with my order. i always order an avocado almond and seems like they make it different in this branch. the color looks so dark and taste like no almond milk! oh well at least i give it a try. update 6/19/19 i went today to give it another try. i ordered the same avocado almond and this time is perfectly made. the service was very fast as well! i am glad to give it another shot and appreciate the concern from the owner regarding my first visit. they actually made my order free of charge this time. they didn't need to do all that but appreciate it a lot. read more
