We came for lunch, and I can't say enough good things about this charming cafe/patisserie. Let's start with their daily quiche of the day; today it was asparagus and cheddar, fluffy and slightly warmed. It came with a side salad of baby greens and a house vinaigrette. I also had the soup of the day, a tomato bisque, into which other vegetables had been blended: Very healthy!

Strawberry avocado salad with chicken, no cheese

I stopped by with a friend for brunch. It was my first time and I don't know how I've not heard of this spot before. First of all let me say it's adorable inside. They have a few indoor and outdoor patio seats if you want to eat in. They have a small breakfast and lunch menu as well as a gorgeous assortment of pastries. I ordered the strawberry avocado salad with chicken, no cheese and an iced coffee. It was fresh and delicious with tons of toppings. The ladies here were the nicest people I think I've ever met. They were very good about working with special diets and allergies. A nice variety of gluten free desserts as well.

Peppered bacon breakfast sandwich on a sesame bagel

We had a cranberry orange scone, avocado toast, and a breakfast sandwich (with peppered bacon) on a bagel, along with 2 coffees. The restaurant is cute and small. All of the pastries looked very good. We liked our scone! Breakfast sandwich was good, could have used some type of sauce and the avocado toast was a little salty. Still a good place to grab a coffee and pastry!

Do not get the stuffed pepper soup that is made with sausage and banana peppers instead of ground beef and green peppers. (not noted on the menu board). It did not have a good taste and it was greasy. Very disappointing.

Adorable patisserie in the heart of the Village of Orchard Park. Delicious baked goods, breakfast and lunch. And don't miss out on the nice assortment of beverages! On Sundays they serve crepes, but you have to get there early before she sells out. The cannoli themed this week was delicious!

    Soccer themed birthday cake

Went in to order a custom cake. Owner was friendly and said she was "excited to create" my vision of "99% soccer themed and 1% ballerina". I specifically said I want it to look like a soccer cake with maybe one tiny ballerina or something ballet on one little part. Paid $60 for the 6" cake, left a tip...walked out of there spending $83 and full of excitement and trust that Sara would do an amazing job. Picked up the cake. This is what I got. A very flat, plain white cake with one soccer ball and one ballet slipper. I was amazed at the lack of creativity. Then I learned that Sara the owner, that was "excited to create" wasn't even the one that created the cake. It was done by another employee the day before I was to pick up. I did reach out and Sara was quick to reply. After a couple email exchanges she summed it up to "vision for the cake was not properly communicated " and "the cake encompasses the theme". She then offered me a 20% discount for my next overpriced, under decorated cake. Perhaps this was just a bad day for decorating. Her gallery shows amazing cakes...unfortunately, the cake I received was anything but amazing. Clearly, she would rather blame the customer for poor communication instead of back her products with any kind of satisfaction reimbursement. I will not be returning. Two star rating for simply for pleasantries while ordering, having order ready on time for pick up and for communication. Zero stars for creativity and customer satisfaction.

Really good. Love their sandwiches and cookies. Great place for lunch especially on the porch.

Best egg sandwich I've had in the area! Great pastries, and coffee! Can't wait to come back and try the apple and pumpkin crepes!

Okay. Look- I know there are a lot of bakeries but Ginger Snap Patisserie simply outshines all of the others. I have been twice and both times I have not been disappointed. Both times I've gotten their bacon egg and cheese on a brioche roll and everything is cooked to perfection. The eggs are fluffy, the cheese is gooey, and the bacon is crispy. No soggy or undercooked bacon here! I've sampled some of the baked goods and they are outstanding. I've had the coffee cake (pictured) and the oatmeal cherry walnut cookie and the key lime tart. If there was one last dessert on this planet I would not be able to choose between the latter two. Anyway, I want to keep this place a secret but it probably won't, so get in your car, drive to Orchard park, yes.. use that gas... and treat yourself! Oh I almost forgot- they serve Underground's coffee :)

The best graduation cake of 2022!

If the Louvre had a cake section Sara from Ginger Snap Patisserie would be in there twice. Once for the masterful artistry of her cakes and once for the masterful flavor, texture, and moisture of her masterpieces! Bravo Sarah! If you need a cake...get it here!! They also have a great breakfast and lunch menu and it's a doll house to dine in...should be on the left bank!

Our waitress Natalia was very helpful and friendly and gave us great service! My only complaint would be that the blackened wings were slathered with barbecue sauce, but definitely not blackened. Good ambience here, and we enjoyed the small outdoor patio! As a matter of fact, we enjoyed it so much, we went back a day later with more family! Next time we all ordered burgers, and I had the Flying Byrd which was served with a side of sweet potato fries, and honey. The burger was spicy Cajun style with peppers, & it was large enough that I couldn't finish it all. The fries were crispy and delicious with the side of honey. I would recommend you give this place a try for an afternoon lunch, it was pretty busy for a Thursday afternoon.

She laughed and joked along with us and gave great service. The place is cute inside and it was great to be at the round table next to the fireplace on a rainy day.

And it's worth the wait. The Poked Yolk is popular with the locals, and has an extensive menu (with full-service sit-down at tables, booths or the bar, along with take-out). The menu features a broad mix of breakfast, brunch and lunch offerings centered on comfort food with a few health-conscious options. Breakfast include classic egg plates, Benedicts, omelets, breakfast sandwiches, burritos and specialty dishes such as the Keto Hash, Crab Cake Benny and Jose Benny. Sweet breakfast selections include pancakes, waffles and French toast, with more indulgent options like White Chocolate Raspberry Pancakes, Cookies & Cream Stuffed French Toast and banana-themed waffles. I was very fond of the basic breakfast, the waffle and the bacon, which appears to be more of the delicious center cut. Lunch offerings include burgers, grilled sandwiches, wraps and salads and signature items include the -- get this -- Pepperoni Jam Burger. Fascinating. There is also the Cuban Sami, Mediterranean Sami and Cali Chicken Club Wrap. Lighter options include veggie-focused omelets, salads and sandwiches. Overall, the restaurant emphasizes hearty portions, customizable breakfast favorites and twists on traditional American diner fare while offering vegetarian, lower-carb and lighter options for diverse preferences. And the service is kind and attentive. Highly recommend!

Was windy so they put the fire pit on, after 15 we asked to turn it off because it was too hot. We had to go up to the bar & order, flights are not served outside. The apps were all real good but so filling we barely touched our meal. I ordered off the summer menu, Yellowstone campfire plate. It came with beef brisket, bbq chicken, baked beans, Mac& cheese and French fries. What I nibbled on was really good but unfortunately in all the confusion never took the leftovers. Food: 0/10 Alright this is the third time I've come to this location. I'm trying to be fair but the bad food is consistent. For instance tonight I got the "campfire" plate which was fries, Mac and cheese, chicken, and brisket. Fries? Too hot to eat first. Mac and cheese? Literally colder than room temp and DRY! No cheese...like cold dry noodles? The brisket was slimy and small portion sized, the chicken was fine I guess. Everything else was so gross though by the time I got to the chicken I didn't care. I've come every time with my family of 4, and all 3 experiences were the same. I wish the food was anything but what it is because I'd love to come back here. I'll never recommend it and I'm actually just going to give away my $100 gift card to anyone who wants to dare to eat here.
