Came here with my friend after seeing this place on instagram. The aesthetic and vibe is so fricking cute. The food is also great. We ordered finger sandwiches to share which i wasn't too big on but they were still great. We also got french onion soup which was to die for!!!!! For entree i got the shrimp and grits which was so delicious so good wow, it's huge so i recommend you share or there will be left overs. For dessert i got vanilla cake and this was the best cake i ever had so good. One of the best eggs Benedict I have ever had in my life. The cappuccino was perfect. The potatoes were unusual and amazingly delicious. The pancakes were to die for my friend had French onion soup and she said it's the best she's ever had. I am definitely coming back here. Walking in it feels as if you're walking into an antique tea room. I believe that's what they may have been going for. There are porcelain dolls, antique tea sets, and other valuable items all over the walls/shelves. Very quaint and homey feeling. The staff is very friendly and sweet. I called to make a reservation for Sunday yesterday and was told by the host and manager a table would be available for me and my family with a table of 9 as one is a toddler and I understood they had a max of 8 tables. The owner of the place Francesca is giving me a hard time with the reservation. The final email I received was today stating they only had available for a table of 7. She was very rude to me cutting me off while I tried to speak and I got upset while talking to them as they wouldn't listen to what I was saying. I appreciate the staff for trying to accommodate my family and especially the manager but the owner is very rude and needs to communicate better with her staff if she's going to reiterate something to me completely different than what her staff was telling me. It gets full fast so try to go early for lunch or just know you might need to wait a bit. I love their tea variety and I always try to bring my mom or a friend to share the experience. I like to make an afternoon of coming here as its not close to where I live. My favorite tea is the Marie Antoinette. But I haven't had one that I haven't liked. I have been here once before and have found the second time to be even better. I came in for a High Tea service with a friend as a late Christmas gift. She has a nut and shellfish allergy. The staff was very attentive and over accommodating to the point that I felt spoiled. The atmosphere is nice. I know they serve food here as well but I haven't actually come eaten a proper meal here so I can't say much about the food. Both times I've been here for Tea service, which requires a reservation in advance. Their breakfast food looks delicious though and I plan on coming with my boyfriend for brunch. I would definitely say this is a good place for a special date with a significant other (friend or lover). This place knows how to make a guest feel special. A nice little get away for lunch. The inside is cute it cant be alittle be of close quarters in some of the rooms. I love all of the tea cups and tea pots! Its a fun place if you like teas. The outside could use a good coat of paint or something. You can bring a group just give them advanced notice. I had the cranberry chicken salad on a croissant. It was a large serving. I really enjoyed the cranberries they were a nice additional to chicken salad. It can with a soup, I chose split pea. One Out of the four at our table who got the split pea soup thought it was too salty. I personally didn't notice. I really like the spiced ice tea. It comes hot or iced. My second glass of tea Was the iced peach tea. I about died no sugar and no warning. Ugh. Cauley Square Tea Room had always been that little touch of feminine and class that i felt my hometown lacked growing up. It was cute, quaint and dainty. It was as close to feeling fancy as I could get.That one place I could actually pretend and feel as if I wasn't in Homestead- Cutler Ridge- or Naranja...but then I grew up. Truth is Cauley Square is just one street of fairy tale and the Tea Room is old and a little stuffy and rickety-it's not fancy or foofoo and you can go in your piyama, chancletas and ratchet bun and they'll be totally cool with you. Still dainty and feminine, still very cute and still very much a tea house- just not the kind of place I'm wearing pearls and little fake diamonds too like back in my elementary school days. I'm a sucker for tea, tea sandwiches, little foods and little cute things. I LOVE that the tea sets are mismatchy and that the tea rooms are all themed and different however I removed my ONE star for service overall, I feel it's a little sloppy. On my last visit we ordered three different kettles- our server brought them out and was not able to tell which was which. I swore I was drinking my mom's peppermint meanwhile she insisted my floral, smooth vanilla combo was her peppermint....not cool. I also prefer the tea to come out along with it's add-ins. Maybe the British drink the tea str8-up and that's great but I'm not British and we're in Homestead... please bring me honey, cute little sugar cubes and maybe some milk or creamer for variety. Every time I've gone, I have always had to ask for it on the side. This last time it was 3 kettles which (=) about 12 servings of tea and they bring me a little plate with maybe two tablespoons of honey; really? Regular white, granulated sugar and no milk or creamer. Amidst these minor setbacks, I'm still a fan- maybe it's cause I'm oddly connected to the Cauley Square Tea room which makes me biased. Right inside to the left is a chandelier that used to live in my house along with a decorative ceiling plate. We decided it wasn't contemporary enough and found her a new home at the Cauley Square Tea Room. She's hanging there chilling in her new home with a freshly painted pink ceiling plate. If you ever stop by, say hello to her for me; I had her first and make sure you ask for honey, sugar cubes and creamer- they need to get with the program and on my next visit have it ready for me! read more
