I was able to try a couple of different items during my visit and wow, was I impressed. I tried the Poke bowl that was served with a plethora of vegetables that included arugula, edamame, julienne cut carrots, spring mix, and cucumbers. The tuna was diced into small cubes and a good amount to fulfill me after indulging. I also was able to try a green detox smoothie that tasted delicious and energized for the day. I enjoy the decor inside and love how sparkling clean and organized everything looks. The staff was all very friendly and appeared to really enjoy working there which added to the positive and uplifting environment. While there are a few Crema's in the area, I go to this one often. I love their pastries and sandwiches especially the turkey club and almond croissant. It's filling and delicious with the truffle aioli. My office caters from this location often so I've had most of their baked goods, pastas and salads. You really can't go wrong with Crema. You can even order ahead online or through the app and they have a loyalty program where you can redeem points for rewards. A solid all day breakfast spot in Downtown amidst the limited brunch options! There's a reason it's always almost full when you go. The system to order and get a tag to place on your table to have it brought to you, comfortable arm chairs, self serve water and hand sanitizer--I'm digging it all. The food prices of omelette, breakfast sandwiches, regular sandwiches, and salads are cheaper after you've seen the $25 omelette at your full service restaurants. There's great service after you get your food and drinks, as our plates were checked on and taken away soon after we finished eating. That's the way they ensure turnover of tables and allow for new customers to find a place to sit. I had a nicely richness balanced iced matcha latte with almond milk (yes, it's $0.50 extra to substitute for non dairy milk). It could have used more matcha if it were up to me, but the smoothness and creaminess without sweetening hit the spot. I added some Stevia from the table toward the end of the drink for nice dessert vibes. The turkey scramble was solid as well, with plenty of spinach, turkey and provolone to make you forget they're scrambled eggs. The multigrain bread accompanying it was lightly toasted, soft on the inside and slightly sweet, good to have with the eggs. I got roasted potatoes not realizing they were an extra charge (i think $2.00), but they were worth the addition, bringing heft and infusion of herbed flavor to my meal. Their playlist could use some help, as it went from smooth Bruno Mars to upbeat pop for nice coffeehouse music, but at a high volume, so it felt like they were trying to make it into a lounge at 12pm. We also heard the same song at least twice while we were there lol. It's still a nice place to hang with people or chill on your own! And they have a loyalty points program? I believe Crema is the one best breakfast spot downtown. It's a quiet little spot on East Flagler that is popular with residents and downtown regulars. The bakery offerings are simple and delicious. Nothing too crazy just what you would expect from a French/Mediterranean Bakery.. You must try the Open Face Breakfast Sandwich. Eggs Benedict and Nova Plates are just a few of the finds. You can even get a simple bacon and eggs breakfast cooked the way you like it. Service is good and efficient and the staff is very courteous. And did I mention that BREAKFAST is available all day.
