    Boba tea specials

I have celiac disease and food sensitivities and I feel safe eating here. The food is so good and made fresh. We brought my 2 granddaughters here for lunch and they said this is their new favorite place to eat. I had a BLT and tomato basil soup with a flourless cake for dessert. My hubby had chicken tacos and cheesecake. My granddaughters had avocado tacos and waffles with smoothies. They also had boba tea which they enjoyed a lot. The atmosphere is laid back and comfortable with music playing in the background. Lots of brightly colored walls make it fun. The restaurant is very clean. Our server, Stone, was excellent and super nice and helpful in choosing items off of the menu. This was our 2nd visit here and we will be back again!

    Vegan Tacos & Coffee

I was in town briefly for some important business and hoped to find some halfway decent vegan food. While their menu largely is non-vegan, they do offer a menu item known as Vegan Tacos. They are generously portioned and incredibly delicious! I ended up getting a second helping they are so good. The coffee I got was also better than the local roaster I hit earlier that morning... I imagine the rest of the menu is as good, but if you're in search of vegan food in the area, this place has some fantastic tacos. The wait staff is super friendly too! If I'm ever back in the area I will surely be returning. Thanks for thinking of us little guys!

Never like food bars as they are not wholesome. The people are not especially happy. The place is not that clean. Limited menu.

A wonderful selection of healthy foods which are so hard to find when eating out. The best part is they are fresh and tasty.

Stopped by for brunch, but it turns out they only serve lunch…read more I ordered the pesto pasta with salmon, and it was excellent. The menu said penne pasta, but what arrived was a different pasta shape, rigatoni maybe, that actually worked better. The sauce filled the pasta, so every bite had plenty of flavor. The salmon was cooked nicely with a crisp exterior that added great texture to the dish. My husband ordered the shrimp po'boy, and unfortunately his experience wasn't as positive. The first sandwich had to be sent back because the shrimp were so overcooked they had the texture of chicharrones. The staff quickly remade it, but the second sandwich was only slightly better. Part of the issue seemed to be the size of the shrimp. They were quite small, which makes them much easier to overcook. Considering this is a seafood and steakhouse restaurant, we were surprised by the size and quality of the shrimp. That said, both our waiter and the manager were very kind and responsive when addressing the issue. We chose not to send the sandwich back a second time, and my husband simply didn't finish his meal. The iced tea was delicious. They prepare it tableside using something similar to a coffee press, which made it taste especially fresh. And the view? Excellent as always.

I know I like la crema so mine was yum. The hush puppies were crispy outside and nice & soft inside. The dip had a nice kick...I'm guessing jalapeño ranch. Good app. We got shrimp & catfish and shrimp & flounder. The shrimp and fries were really good. My husband enjoyed his founder, too. My catfish, unfortunately, tasted strong of ammonia and was inedible. The server took it back and said they'd "figure it out". I wasn't asking for anything just letting them know. The chef told the server it was not bad but being from Louisiana I've eaten ten times my weight in fried catfish i know what I know. The server, Louie, was excellent. He was super gracious and we will come back because of him and his exemplary customer service. He took it off the bill and was very concerned I would be going home hungry. What a caring heart. Was going to give 2 stars but Louie's attitude bumped the experience to three stars. I'll review again next time but no catfish for me here. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful evening air and view.

I saw it was "A Very Merry Tamale Day" and thought of trying some tamales. I had called on the way up and asked if they sold the Tamales just hot or also frozen and they said both. The price was $24 for a dozen. We looked at the menu and asked some questions from the waitress so she gave us a few minutes as we looked over the Tamale Day menu. She told us the only item not available was the Pork w/Habanero Tamale. We decided on the Solo Tamales which are a 4-Tamale entree and the Veracruz Tamale which I wanted a la carte w/o the beans and rice. The waitress said that would be $8 vs. the entree which was $12. She said it was a big tamale as I asked what the difference was between a regular tamale and this one wrapped in a Banana Leaf? I was intrigued! For the Solo Tamales, we chose 2 Chicken Tamales, Pork & the Chicken & Cream Cheese. I wasn't interested in the Spinach and Mushroom. After a few minutes, we were served the Tamales. We split the 4-Tamales so we could try each flavor. The Chicken & Cream Cheese Tamale was surprisingly tasty since it had the Cream Cheese inside. The Pork and Chicken had a red seasoning so you couldn't distinguish between Pork and Chicken. I'd say the ratio of meat to Masa on the chicken was more Masa. It wasn't something to write home about. The huge Veracruz Tamale was moist, very flavorful, had lots of tender meat and so tasty that I finished the whole thing!! It was nice to have the sour cream dollop, shredded lettuce and pico de gallo on the side. I would've ordered a few to take home if we weren't planning on window shopping. The decor is rustic with lots of wood in the booths & on the ceiling. The place was pretty quiet as there wasn't any music playing and only one other booth had folks until we left where another set of customers sat in the front table by the entrance. It would've been nice if they had napkin dispensers on the tables. The tabletop seemed kinda sticky. Bathrooms are ample but the middle bathroom is very short in depth between the door and toilet. Place is pretty casual and there's seating in the back patio.
