Refreshing Peach Green Tea in Pearl City, Oahu, Hawaii... It was another sunny, warm June day and I needed some hydration. I searched my Yelp app and found Tea Time Taiwan. I followed GPS and drove up a steep driveway, parked on the second level of a building, caught the elevator to the ground level, and entered the cute, air-conditioned shop. Service was very friendly. I believe it was a mother-daughter team. They spoke Chinese language to each other. I wasn't able to understand anything... LOL! I saw the display of Labubus and asked a few questions. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful! I decided to get one! I was encouraged to open the blind boxes there. Okay! It was a fun, exciting experience! I've seen many Instagram posts, so I knew a little about this trend. I also got a Peach Green Tea. It had little bits of fruit on the bottom. I liked it a lot and might go back for other flavors if I'm in the area again!

Boba- 10/10 probably the best bobas of all of Hawaii. Super soft and fresh bobas! Woohoo! Drink- 8.5/10 Oreo milk tea - it's a signature milk tea with Oreo bits in the drink. Service- 10/10 my bf ordered 75% sugar for me and when I got the drink it was totally not sweet enough for my preference. I went back into the shop and asked if she could add sweetener to it and she made me a new drink and even had me sample the new drink. It was way better! The owner had amazing customer service! Thanks :D Cost- 9/10 $5.76 in total with boba for the smaller size. Boba topping costs $.60. Really good priced!

If you want to enjoy the best cup of boba tea in Hawaii you'll have to stop here. I've tried boba from several spots but I'm always happiest when I sip from a cup of taro boba from here. The prices are good and the size options are fantastic. If you love it as much as I do or if you want to share I recommend the jumbo. I've been here at all different times of day and it's never a long wait but it's always delicious. They do have seating inside but we typically sit while we wait and take ours to go. Enjoy!

Still one of my favorite spots for drinks. They have a sour plum lemonade that my husband and I both love! The milk tea and boba are pretty consistent but I have had times that the boba was way too soft and the drinks were much too sweet. The drinks seem to come out the best tasting when they are made by the owner. They also stopped serving their thick cut toast, which I'm really disappointed about because I use to come especially for that. I will continue to support this place because the owner is very kind and appreciative of the business, which I really appreciate.

hate to be that person but i really didn't like the drinks here. they made my roasted oolong milk tea out of powder and the boba was so mushy and overcooked. my friend's peach spring tea was so sweet even with lowered sugar level. the only positive was the kind lady that served us. she messed up my friends order when she ordered tea jelly and got boba instead. the lady kindly made her a new drink and adjusted the sugar further and let us keep the old one. maybe i'm just a snob but if you want a real milk tea this is not the place to go. they have an extensive menu so maybe the fruitier drinks are better but i don't think i'll be coming back.

This tea changed my life!! I always order strawberry tea with taiwan spring tea and honey boba. The honey boba is the best boba I've ever had - it actually tastes just like honey. Also, I think for the holidays, they've made rainbow honey boba . The service is always fast and friendly. There's a lot of seating and good lighting. 1000/10 would recommend.

Eggfles are delicious and a bit different than the usual egg waffle. My tea was delicious, more affordable than mainland shops. Parking is a little weird, up behind the building. On Door dash, too. (3 orders during our visit)

I went around 5 pm and it was pretty empty. The drinks are all great price and my lychee spring tea was perfect. Definitely will be returning. The shop itself was so cute and had comfy seating and fun trinkets for sale.

I've never had a bad experience here ever. They have a cute seating area and it's fairly quiet. The menu is very simple and there are great flavors for milk tea. I have gotten the Messy Ube and coconut black tea. The "messy" flavors are very sweet but it's really good. It's a whipped flavored topping over iced milk tea. I normally park across the street or near the Times and walk over cause it's right down the hill. It's never too busy when we're there either. This place is a very reliable. Super refreshing for our Hawaii hot weather!

Of course, the first thing I wanted when I landed in HNL was boba, so I decided to try out this cute shop! I ordered the Mango Calpico smoothie with boba and it was so refreshing and perfect! I believe the owner was the one who took my order and made my drink- she was quick and friendly. I love how the menu was so big I'll definitely have to come back again to try more flavors!

Calpico drinks are my favorite. Get it over ice or blended up. If over ice, I get 50% sugar since it is kind of sweet

    Do they cater for events?

We do. Please email teatimehawaii808@gmail.com and provide more details. Thank you

I came back today expecting that their renovations would be done. It's completely empty. Are they still going to open?

Yes, they're still going to open. I messaged them on Instagram two days ago and they said they'll be open in about a week.

Is this place still open? I drove around and around looking for it and the website is down and phone number didn't work.

I believe they're closed for renovations.

We ordered the açaí bowl, (small $12.50 and large $14.50) and also ordered popsicles (10 for $15). Already the price of this was way cheaper than W&B. Liked it! I apologize for the lack of photos of our açaí bowls, but I have a bad habit of digging in right away then realizing that I forgot to take photos when it's half gone. I'll attach photos when I go back...because I most definitely will be back! I think I still prefer the taste W&B açaí, but the açaí here is really good and satisfies the craving! The popsicles on the other hand, were just ok. It was described as large otter pops and while I wouldn't go THAT far, I don't think I'll get those again. Didn't try the juice yet, but the price is pretty high so not sure if I'll get around to it. Especially since the açaí is soooo good!!! I'll probably always get that instead!

I wish I could give this place a 3.5 overall, but the service deserves 0 stars…read more From the moment we walked in, there was zero acknowledgment from the employee. She was watching Tinker Bell on the TV and didn't greet us or even look up - no hello, no smile, just awkward silence. We were the only ones in the store and still had to awkwardly approach the counter just to get help. As first-time customers, there was also no explanation of the scoop sizes or pricing, which made ordering more confusing than it needed to be. When we finally ordered, two items were made correctly, but one person in our group ordered dragonfruit gelato. The employee started scooping strawberry instead, and even after we politely pointed it out, there was no acknowledgment or apology--just silence. It made for a really uncomfortable interaction. While we were eating, the employee went into the back, and we could hear her loudly scrolling on social media with the volume on full blast, even laughing at times. Toward the end of our visit, she came back to the front, sat down, and continued on her phone. The entire atmosphere felt so awkward that we decided to leave and finish our gelato in our cars. Even as we walked out, there was no thank you, no goodbye--no acknowledgment at all. It was honestly disappointing. That said, the gelato itself is actually really good, and the interior of the shop is nice. That's the only reason I'd consider coming back. Unfortunately, the service really brought the experience down. Proper customer service training is definitely needed. I would come back for sure, but I wouldn't return if that same employee was behind the counter.

Instagram prize winners!!!…read more Traci T. (fellow Elite Yelp Hawaii member) and I were so thrilled to receive a message that informed us that we had won a super prize package from Mawps Hawaii and the Pearlridge Farmers Market (@AlohaFarmLovers). We decided to meet on November 20th at 9:30am to claim our prizes. Pearlridge Farmers Market is located on the upper level parking lot on the Macy's side. I entered from Moanalua Road and easily found free parking. Traci was prepared - she had an insulated bag! I just had a plastic Trader Joe's bag - good enough! We sure needed bags because Bryan and Cassie were so generous with their fresh watermelon juice and delicious smoothies! We started off with a Wellness Shot, made with tumeric. It's supposed to be good for improving circulation and fighting cancer and depression! It was a bit challenging to drink because it had a "warming effect"... Haha! Cheers! We did it! Next, Bryan made Sky Smoothies for us. The coconut milk base, papaya, and banana helped make the kale taste better! Not bad! Cassie made our Hawaiian Spirit smoothies with Li Hing sauce walls. The orange colored wall was so beautiful next to the pale colored banana, pineapple and mango mixture as a contrast! When I got home, I drank the smaller container of watermelon juice. It was so refreshing! It tied me over to my next meal! For sure, I'll be returning and bringing my empty bottles for refills! Besides Saturday mornings at the Pearlridge Farmers Market, Mawps is open at Ohana Hale Marketplace in Honolulu (on Ward Avenue) on Mondays through Thursdays from 10am to 4pm! Thank you to Bryan and Cassie for the friendly, efficient service and healthy juices and yummy Smoothies!

A small tea/smoothy trailer available only on Saturdays…read more I think I heard of this place through a friend. They used to by the Waiau district park, but have now been at the Pearlridge parking next to the old Sears and Zippys. There's a gathering of a couple lunch trucks and a few picnic tables under some trees in a once busy parking lot. I think it's a nice little area to grab lunch and a drink. Zoomy Tea is a bright green trailer and you can see it from the street. They are only there on Saturdays. You can follow them on Instagram or Facebook. They have fruit smoothies and milk teas. What really caught my eye was the hojicha and genmaicha. Both are green tea based. The genmaicha is a green tea with roasted rice, which has a stronger flavor and a slight bitterness, but I liked it a lot. So many boba places just taste like milk shakes minus the tea, so it was nice to actually taste the tea for once. I had the sweetness at 25 percent. Both can be just tea or milk tea and of course you can add boba. The boba adds sugar and honey in Zoomy's case. They are super friendly and accommodating. They can affect how strong the tea to be to meet your liking. Oh in case you're wondering, their straws are bio degradable, but also super durable. They are not using mini toilet paper rolls that biodegrade in your drink. Ruins the entire experience. Glad they have good straws, which would never typically be in a review, but since this ban on plastics...it's come up so many times. I was craving it today, but it's Sunday...darn it.
