Medium brown sugar milk tea with boba
    Amber R.

Service for me was great, the cashier was nice and I didn't have to wait long since the other employees were working on my order as the cashier reviewed what I wanted with me which was great! My drink wasn't bad but it more on the sweet side for my taste even at 50% sweetness. Although on the bright side I thought that the boba was cooked perfectly and was as chewy as I like it compared to other places I've tried where the boba was quite soft like the alley.

Ok so it's been a while since I have gotten a bubble drink but I heard Taste Tea is good. I got the blended taro milk tea with boba and it was soooo refreshing I was in shock! The tea flavor wasn't too strong thankfully since I don't like tea. I mainly wanted a taro milk shake with chewy boba and that's what it tasted like! The boba texture was just right: not too starchy and not too gooey. I watched her make the smoothie and while it was the powder flavoring, it didn't taste chalky. Perfect for walking around the mall and sipping away. Before I knew it, it was gone! So much for saving some for my mom! They have a very extensive menu so I had a hard time deciding but it was between pudding milk tea blended and the taro and the cashier recommended taro. Good choice!

The Pearl Ridge location usually has three staff running it efficiently. There's rarely a line. My go to flavors are taro, melon or matcha blended with LARGE boba. They never disappoint.

Went about 7pm on Friday - they were out of the big boba - so I opted for the small boba instead. They gave me a small straw which cracked and as I drank all the tea . Also found a clump of the small boba on the bottom of the cup and it was just unacceptable. This location is usually good?

Have you ever been wronged and wanted to make things right? Well after yesterday's disappointment, we wanted to go somewhere else for good service and good tasting milk tea. Ding, ding, ding, we got a winner! Must be #SensationalSunday! First, I have to give a big mahalo to the workers at Taste Tea. They were all friendly, helpful, and so quick! One of our beverages was filled and ready before I finished paying. Now that's service! More importantly, the full tea taste was in there. Not hidden with ice or water like yesterday at the other place. We were very satisfied with today's service and order. In fact, this was cheaper than the bad experience yesterday. Thank you again Taste Tea, we will be back!

Taro Coconut Milk Tea with Molten Tapioca

This review is long overdue, but when I used to work at the mall, I would come here almost every day after work and order the Fruity Pebbles Milk Tea or the Taro Coconut Milk Tea with Molten Tapioca. The molten tapioca is my favorite drink add-on. It is warm and chewy and goes perfectly with the milk tea. The drinks here are good, and the service is fast. I have no complaints, but I do wish that there was a Taste Tea location in Kapolei!

This boba spot is located inside of Pearl Ridge near the TJ Maxx. When I arrived, there was no line. I've been to other Taste Tea locations and I was glad there wasn't a long wait for this kiosk. My go-to drink is the classic Milk Tea & it always hits the spot. The flavor was great. You can choose your 'sweetness' level & I went with 50% which I felt was delicious and just right. The boba was cooked to a perfect level of softness as well. I really can't stand hard boba--but no problem with that here! The cashier was quick and friendly. She even offered me a stamp card for my purchase which can get you a deal later. Taste tea is definitely the place to go for your Boba fix!

The drink bar at the mall entrance is always my first stop. Great staff and drinks made in under a minute. Brown sugar boba is the best.

Does anyone know where did they move to? It not by the entrance anymore. Are they still in the mall?

They were forced to move out of that space, so temporarily closed until they move to another location inside Pearlridge Mall. According to their Instagram page, they are planning to move to a kiosk that's next to TJ Maxx, between Moe's and BRUG…

Whenever I pass by, there seems to be people waiting in the front, especially during dinner time. Who knew this place would be the spot to go to for dinner? From the outside, it reminds me of the restaurant Tiana from The Princess and the Frog built -which make total sense! It's the high, lofty ceilings, big, open, bright lights - they really got the plantation building vibe well. The servers have been great whether they're the quick-service bakery or the servers for our dinner. I remember one dinner, my meal took longer than everyone else at the table and they were apologetic in that and kept checking in and made sure I felt seen. As far as the food, I've tried their cutlet, breakfast pancakes/waffle, fried chicken, and a couple other dishes. Some I ordered myself and some my husband ordered, therefore they are my dishes as well. All of them tasted great and I do have to say, considering how long they've been open, you would think the standards go down at some point, but I have not experienced that at all. The breads, butters, and jellies still slap. And most of all, my husband and other family members I've come here with LOOOVE the kimchi fried rice and/or the pork loco moco. Personally, I used to only think about Liliha Bakery whenever friends from the mainland come to visit. But now, it just may be a nice spot for dinner if we want something a little more than Zippy's.

The drive-thru is very convenient when I'm getting coffee on my way to work. However, it does tend to get really busy and sometimes when I see how backed up it is, I just leave. I do feel that they prioritize the drive-thru over walking in because a few times I would just go in to order if the drive-thru is busy and the barista taking my order appears to be taking and making orders for the drive-thru. There were also a few instances I saw where you can't even go in to order and could only go to the drive-thru. I do understand when they say they're short-staffed and I see how it can get pretty busy. I'm just sharing my past experience but I do continue to come here because my drinks are always made to how I like it and I love that they're open a little later than other coffee shops! Some of the drinks I love: Iced Vietnamese Cold Brew (it can be strong sometimes) Iced White Chocolate Latte Iced Hazelnut Latte Iced Blended Cookies & Cream Iced Blended Caramel Iced Blended Cookie Butter (it can be really sweet) Li Hing Lemonade I love when they have Mo'Jo Mondays where they feature a drink for $3.
