For once, I'm not annoyed that I spent $10 on boba tea--because this wasn't just some boba tea. It was really good! I'll start by admitting that most of their teas have caffeine, especially their most popular ones. Since I went at 7 PM on a Saturday, the last thing I wanted was caffeine in my system. When I first drove by, the main parking lot was full and there was a line out the door. I decided to order online--but here's the catch: you can't pay online, so you still have to wait in line to get to the register. The website warned that weekends can take up to 20 minutes for orders. Given the crowd, I figured it'd be longer, but I went in at the 10-minute mark, got through the line in under 3 minutes, and my drink was already ready. I settled on the Strawberry Milk Tea. It recommended 80% sweetness, but I wish I had gone for 100%--it wasn't that sweet to me. Then again, maybe 100% would have overpowered my toppings, so no real complaints. I requested less ice, but I think I should have gone with regular ice because it wasn't that cold. This makes me think it might have been made sooner than the 13 minutes between ordering and pickup, though I did see them take it out of a refrigerator. The venue itself isn't very big--some seating, but not much. I'm not a fan of the register setup; you're standing very close to others while waiting, and the line runs right in front of the door. From what I saw when I first drove by, the line sometimes even goes outside. Now, back to the drink--it was filling and one of the best bobas I've had. Out of curiosity, I tried the cheese milk foam. It was thick as expected, but the second it hit my stomach, I felt instant regret. For toppings (extra charge), I chose blueberry, green apple, and strawberry popping boba. They gave a generous amount, and each was packed with flavor. Overall, a solid 5/5. They have a wide menu, and I'm already planning my next visit to try more.

Been a long time since I tried Tea Top - lots of options & tasty drinks. It's a classic! I love that they use real taro, just wished there was more of it in my taro milk tea. Husband got an oolong milk tea and wished the tea was stronger. No seating & fast service.

Love this place every time!! It's right by the H-mart, so perfect for a post grocery treat. I didn't get the taro this time but they use real taro and not the purple powder, which makes it so much better. This place definitely feeds my boba addiction‍ 5/5 drinks - 50% oolong milk tea was the perfect amount of sweetness 5/5 service - so quick 4/5 ambiance - there aren't tables to sit inside but great for grab and go!

Tea Top is a quick stop boba place! It is located in the same plaza as H Mart Doraville so there are plenty of things to do in that area. The shop itself is rather small as the only seating inside is a small bench, so it definitely gives off the vibe that it is there for convenience. The inside is fairly minimalistic, but there is a giant boba statue if you want to take pictures! The service is pretty quick, but I usually go during off hours so it has never been too busy. I ordered the Passion Green Tea Medley. I got it with regular ice and less (50%) sugar as I made the mistake once of getting regular sugar and it was way too sweet. It is safe to say that I made the right decision in getting less sugar in my drink this time. My drink tasted good, but it did not blow my mind. I think that Tea Top is a good option if you are looking for a quick boba fix.

I stopped by Tea Top because it's conveniently located near H Mart. The shop has a simple, no-frills vibe--straight to the point. It's not a big space, with just a window to place your order, another to pick it up, and a small seating area along the wall for a couple of people. The cashier was very friendly and greeted me right away, making the experience feel welcoming from the start. The menu is displayed above the order window, which is mostly easy to read, though the angle and distance might make it challenging for kids or older visitors to see clearly. I ordered my go-to drink--the one I use to judge all Boba shops: an Oolong Milk Foam Tea at full sweetness. At just $5.25 for what I consider a pretty large cup (at least 20 ounces, though they didn't specify), the price was a pleasant surprise. It arrived quickly, too. The best version of this tea I've ever had was at a shop in Atlanta that, unfortunately, closed during the pandemic, and another in Los Angeles. So, I'd nearly given up hope of finding a comparable version in Atlanta. But to my delight, Tea Top's Oolong Milk Foam Tea was perfect! The milk cap was rich and creamy, melting seamlessly into the tea just as it should. The sweetness level was spot-on. For the price and quality, this is now my go-to Boba shop for Milk Foam Tea. I can't wait to return and try their Boba Milk Tea next!

--Location/Parking-- Plenty of parking in the strip mall. There is even additional parking in front of Brandsmart --Ambience-- Small waiting area, there is no indoor seating --Service/Staff-- Staff gets you in and out, The teenager taking my order was a typical teenager. --Food/Products-- Great milk tea that I needed a boost for my day. --Capacity-- No indoor seating. Wait area can get crowded after more than 2 groups --Overall-- Great little hidden boba/tea/coffee shop. The service is quick and the drinks are delicious.

You walk into a small shop and place your order at the counter, then pick up to the window on the left. My son ordered the Taro, and was told they used real taro, so it was going to be grainy. SOLD!! I ordered one too. The majority of places use the powder and I wasn't even going to order. Glad I did. It was 50% less sweet and it was delish! Both my kiddos enjoyed their teas!

The menu is vast service is fast! (y'all can use that if you want ) As a first time visitor, it'll take you more time to read the menu than to get your order. As a party of 7, we tried lots. Here's what we had the review of the person who consumed it. Me first! Brown sugar Jasmine milk tea with half sweetness and no topper. The sweetness was perfect for me. Pearl milk tea (13yo): tastes like Thai tea. It's sweet, but has too many balls. Brown sugar ginger, with full sweetness, served hot (adult): wouldn't order it again. It's kind of watery and the flavor isn't concentrated enough. Brown sugar jasmine milk tea with full sweetness (12yo): not sweet enough so doesn't like it. Strawberry milk tea, full sweetness, add pearls: just ok, not the best she's ever had Strawberry mango smoothie (split b/w 4yo and 2yo): oldest loved it, little one rejected it This is an on the go establishment. It runs efficiently with the expectation you will take your food to go. There's only seating for waiting, not enjoying. There's also no public restroom, so plan accordingly.

Tea Top has been one of my favorite and go to boba stores ever since I discovered them in 2018-2019! The service is absolutely amazing having had the opportunity to partner with the owner (Matt) on multiple occasions for university fundraisers. The interior has begun to open up further since the COVID restrictions and has more ample seating and waiting areas to accommodate the business. Living 40 minutes away, I will come to Tea Top whenever I'm in the area! My favorites include the Sun Moon Lake Black Milk Tea and the Earl Grey 3Q. The best thing is that the prices are SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than other boba stores while maintaining a similar or higher quality! Cannot recommend Tea Top enough!

I missed Tea Top since the Johns Creek location shut down. This place is in the Super H Mart shopping center with plenty of parking. Walking up, I noticed this place is basically made to be grab your drink and go. There is no place to sit and drink here. The front counter has a wall and plexiglass where you can't even touch the employee. Reminds of a bank. I ordered one of the top 10 drinks: Grapefruit tea. I will say this drink was amazing. The sweetness and flavor was on point. Many places are either too sweet or not sweet enough. My drink was perfect! I can't wait to come back again!

    Kathy Y.

I love the tea here! The prices are very reasonable given the other places in the neighborhood and the drinks are always good. I got a red bean slushy this time and it was delicious. The service is also pretty fast even though we had a lot of people in our group. It is definitely more of a grab and go place though, since there aren't many places to sit.

Sun Moon Lake Fresh Milk Tea: 10/10 If you know me, you know i loveeeee boba. Tea Top has been one of my favorite spots ever since discovering it a few years ago. It is a small place that doesn't have seating, so it's more of a grab and go vibe. This doesn't take away from how fresh and good their tea is consistently!! I've tried a few things on their menu and have never been disappointed!! Their Sun Moon Lake Tea is among my all time favs!! If you're near the area or passing through, this is worth stopping for

We got Sun Moon lake tea & Jasmine milk tea. Both drinks were decent, boba in the lake tea could've been softer. Not a lot of room to sit except for a couple of benches & also no restrooms.

Ask the Community - Tea Top

Are they considering re-opening their seating-area any time soon?

No. Unfortunately, they have not considered re-opening their seating area again.

Can you get double the boba?

You can; it’s 50 cents per scoop.

Can any of the milk teas be substituted with soy milk or any vegan milk? Would love to take some of my friends here, but it seems like they are very limited to just some of the clear teas.

Their regular milk teas are made with non dairy creamer. Their fresh milk series can be substituted to lactose free milk. (I don't know if this helps) They also have fruit teas and slushees your friends can try as well.

Came here for the first time last night and came away with a good experience…read more Note: TE'AMO in Doraville is not the same as Teamo in Sandy Springs. TE'AMO is located at the same address as Kanpai BBQ and Shabu Shabu, and Lao Szechuan, in the very popular Asian Square. There is a big shared parking lot, but there are so many businesses sharing it that parking can be a little challenging at times. Fortunately, last night was not one of those times, maybe because it was still Thanksgiving and maybe most people were at home experiencing food comas. TE'AMO is the first business that people normally see as soon as they walk through the front doors, since it's directly facing the doors. The signs are huge, bright and eye-catching, and don't display any prices. The one sign that caught my eye before walking through the front doors said that there was a special - basically buy two drinks and get a third one free. This sounded great to me, since there were two of us and I was going to pay for two drinks anyhow. The two employees working were very helpful. We were originally ordering at the front counter, but were told that we could only get the buy two drinks get a third one free special if we used the order kiosk. Uh, OK. I was looking for two specific drinks for myself - a boba milk tea and a lemonade. The other drink ended up being a boba milk tea. The list of available drinks is long, and the employees were very happy to come around to our side of the counter to help us find the drinks we wanted to order. There were lots of varieties of drinks on the menu that I immediately stopped looking as soon as I ordered my two drinks - T-Original Fresh Squeezed Lemonade and T-Classic Organic Milk Tea. The service was quick and efficient. When the cups were given to us, although they looked cool because they were different, I was actually disappointed that the drink cups were sealed with an aluminum pull tab lid, the same kind that are found on the tops of soda cans. In my opinion, the pull tab lids on the TE'AMO cups were more difficult to fully remove and once the lids are pulled off the liquid can get splashed around in your vehicle if you're on the go. I also thought the price points were a little on the higher side than their competitors. The flavors of my lemonade and the boba tea were good. The boba here had a nice chew but it was a little sweeter than I prefer. There are tables and chairs to sit at inside, but I would not recommend coming here in a large group and staying to enjoy your drinks (or mochi donuts that they sell from a clear display at the counter).

For $26, I got a ton of food and 90% of it was absolutely delectable. And I say that with an 8-year-old in tow who enjoyed it too! Let's start with the never again item: the Flossy Bun. It's a popular Chinese pastry made with soft, sweet bread filled and topped with sweet and savory pork floss... allegedly. There weren't any descriptions, so I looked it up online. But let me tell you--no. Just no. I don't get how it's popular. Definitely a cultural preference, and it's not for me. I even paused mid-bite hoping I'd grow into the flavor. Nope. Then there was the Coffee Butter Cream Pastry. I thought at the very least my fiancée would like it since she enjoys coffee flavors. That was another miss. I even gave some to two little ones, and the faces they made reminded me of the time I tried canned octopus. That's how bad the flavor was. But now to the good stuff--because the rest? Fire. BBQ Pork Bun - Yummy! Not packed with meat, but enough to enjoy and super easy to pull apart. I really wish they offered a heated option for this, because that would've put it over the top. Japanese Milk Cream Bun - Super creamy. I do wish it had just a little more cream inside, but the bread was so soft and delicious, I honestly didn't care. Hot Dog Cheese Bun - I got this for the little one and I've never seen a child eat something so fast. I'm taking that as a solid win. Egg Tart - Grabbed this from the front warmer after watching another customer snag one. I had missed it earlier. Not totally my thing on its own, but when I got home and added a little chili paste? Devoured. Hong Kong Boba Milk Tea - I went with this instead of the brown sugar version and kind of regret it, but it wasn't bad at all. All in all, the prices are great, the flavors were mostly on point, and the man at the register was super friendly and open to answering questions. Yeah--I'm sold. Looking forward to coming back!

To top it off, a while ago, I hosted a blind boba taste test with about 10 other friends. We got the most basic milk tea each shop offered from all over the ATL area, and Glaze Tea was ranked #1 out of 10 other spots. We included milk tea from other recognizable spots like Greatea, Chi Cha San Chen, Tea Top, Kung Fu Tea, etc. I was personally shocked when it was revealed that Glaze Tea was #1 because I had just never really come/none of my friends talked about it, but since then I'm a Glaze Tea believer. My only note is I typically get 75% sugar at boba places, but I actually do 100% at Glaze Tea. There is a 5% discount if you pay with cash. Plenty of indoor seating, but they keep the store a bit chilly, so bring a jacket if you get cold easily. Service is fast! No 15+ minute wait times or lines out the door.

The portions were heavy. They filled it up to the brim and it was filling. But besides poke this restaurant is also a Hot Pot restaurant so the next time I visit I am going to have to try it. Looks like I have something to look forward to when I come back.

Just wanted to shout them out for the recent Halloween decor they put out in this establishment…read more Very spooky and on theme as they changed their overhead monitor menu as well. This place is also a great place to study with wifi, clean solo bathrooms, and snacks and drinks to enjoy while you lock in. OR you can take a study break and enjoy the restaurants around which include Arepas, Tacos, and Korean Tofu soups. Parking is plenty in the parking lot as it shares with other restaurants in the plaza. Staff here is very kind and friendly. Service is pretty quick and efficient. This place has been my consistent spot for my Board Game friends as we gather here weekly. Food and drinks are ok. Be aware that in order to use card, you must spend at least 8$. Makes it a little annoying but I understand so when coming here... plan to order more for a friend or order a bite with your drink.

It was very sugary kinda syrupy - I'd recommend getting less sugar with it or just going for the brown sugar if you want something sweet. I had both the iced and hot Thai tea. Surprisingly, the hot Thai tea was pretty good. The iced one was still really sweet. Service was quick and it was fairly busy for a weekday night - most tables were taken by students with their laptops out so it's a great study place! Free parking in the lot.

It's a light color bun with black sesame seeds on the outside with taro and mochi inside. It was my first time getting this and wow! I am truly blown away by it and will be getting this every time now. I also was specifically looking for red bean mochi, which they had. It was green tea mochi with red bean paste inside. I love getting these from different places and this is honestly the best one I've ever had!! It's $8.50 for a pack of 4 and totally worth it. Truly so delicious. The taro butterfly is as yummy as always too! I also love the ambiance here. They have lots of tables with plenty of outlets and a jug of water to get as you need. I think this would be a perfect spot to work from and I cannot wait to come back.

A lot of places don't have the choices of the jellies that they do. It's always packed and there's a reason for that because the stuff is great! Even if it doesn't taste great on the dessert ends, it looks great. You have to know what to get. I enjoy the custard tarts a lot. A lot of the desserts aren't sweet enough for me. Their bread is good also. I normally don't buy it there, but I did as a gift for someone and they really liked it. I love that it's self service and you can look at everything on the way, but maybe have more descriptions next to items that are unfamiliar to most Americans. Also, they should have a happy hour with discounts on their stuff or a late night discount. Or a drink and dessert special. Their food is not good. I mean they're cooked food like they're chicken. They should stick to what they do well desserts
