Which is fine because it's policy but just letting you know in advance that if you need more flexibility around time this may pose as difficult. I had paid for three classes in advance as that is how they had it laid out at the time. They mentioned they would let the manager know to see if theres credit reimbursement but I havent heard anything since. I've only been to beginner classes but the instructors seem ok! Not super advanced but not super new either so would be according to each person's judgement.

The website is easy to navigate and the studio owner, Alicia, is extremely kind to answer questions prior to registration. A few email exchanges along with a follow up and 5 stars on customer focus was appreciated. I opted to begin by jump starting and return to yoga practice on Saturday, then Sunday....next one Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, ... no option Thursday so I will have a rest day, then back Friday and so forth! A real kick starter to get my fitness goals back on track and strengthen my body, mind, heart, and soul. Pura Vida Studio is a lovely, well appointed, and top notch studio in the safety category. Class starts on time and door locked for client safety and security this is pivotal and while some may disagree, fundamental safety protocols are essential. Pura Vida Studio is clean and utilized space well and even offered a tour first day as new client. A sense of positivity in this local community. Not a place for a first lesson. Watch my video…read more Update: Because they are not a part of any swimming organization, no one holds them accountable for their dangerous methods. I filed a complaint with the USA Swimming Safe Sport and with the U.S. Center for SafeSport. However, neither of these organizations can take action against the rough coaches and the school because it is a private institution and falls outside the jurisdiction of any organization that could halt their dangerous practices. They will continue to lie on their website by stating "Safety first" while simultaneously forcing your screaming child underwater. They scared my 4-year-old. She screamed and was actively resisting, but the coach just took her and threw her into the water. I could see she was suffocating for a moment because he just forced her under water while she screamed. So lovely for a first lesson ever. How do I convince her now that swimming is fun? Coach Lucas doesn't know what he is doing at all. Disappoinment. I regret I brought my kid there.

They can take "little field trips" so it's not just one room or building all day long. She eats a better lunch here than she does at her elementary school, ahah. We get pictures at the end of the camp and she's always smiling and learning. The best part is the mentorship program; it seems that older kids may volunteer (?) and she always has positive experiences learning from older kids "teaching" them with simple science experiments or helping organize a "puppet show" for example. There were multiple members of the staff on site during my class and the service from then was phenomenal from the instruction, to ensuring i always had wine and water, to cleaning up throughout our cooking. The location is great for us and my daughter just likes acting goofy so we let her stay for now. If she continues to be interested, I will put her in a more serious program. On the administrative side, it's been less than stellar given early troubles with costume ordering. We followed details to a T, and as a first time dance mom was a bit neurotic. Costumes arrived and you not only had to melt her I to it, but craftsmanship was poor as there were visible tears in the fabric in multiple spots. Uncertain of what to do, I naturally turned to the dance studio front staff who were rude and basically said I must not have paid attention to the instructions. Needless to say, I was clearly on my own to find a remedy which was not only irritating and confusing but costly. On a side note, and maybe by design but the front lobby is always packed and boiling degrees given it's small cramped size.
