I had a great experience on my first visit. For a first time customer, the choices are a bit overwhelming so I just kept it simple and got a strawberry banana smoothy. I had them hold the tapioca balls. My friend that I was with opted into the tapioca balls. About 2 sips into her drink, She felt the tapioca balls were too much to bear. The drinks are good. If there is O stars I would give no stars. I ordered the Rainbow Tea, which for lack of a better word, was disgusting. I made an attempt to return the Rainbow Tea, and explained it may have been made wrong, and asked if they would be ok to exchange it for another drink. Most, if not all businesses, would "make it right" for the customer, and simply make another drink for the customer, with no charge. The young girl working the counter (wearing glasses) said she would be glad to make me another drink, but would have to charge me 1/2 price. I was dumbfounded by that statement, and left the Rainbow Tea on their counter. I was a regular customer, and will no longer be back. Just a piece of advice from a former restaurant business owner. You're employees are the face of your business. If they are apathetic or have no desire to take care of your business find someone else. A simple response like, "I'm so sorry the drink was not to your satisfaction, let me make you another one", would have paid dividends and kept my family and I as your loyal customers. read more

Wow sooo many selections! Prices are pretty good! $4.75 for a delicious treat was a great price! We went on a Thursday and place wasn't so busy but also wasn't empty. My only complaint would be that it seemed rushed. If you're someone whose never had any boba or tea then you would feel really rushed because their isn't anyone asking you if you need any help or explanation. You pretty much just order really quickly and move on. I guessed and chose what sounded good and luckily it was really tasty! They have some games and chairs to sit down and chill. A-okay!! We went on a Saturday afternoon and they were quite busy. I always try Thai tea first whenever I try a new boba place. The Thai tea itself was fine, but I wasn't a fan of the micro tapioca bubbles. My boyfriend ordered a strawberry banana smoothie and it was delicious and so fresh tasting!! Great little hole in the wall type of place, sat and shared a drink for a bit, and saw people come and go very quickly in the little time that I was there. Service was extremely fast, customer service was very friendly and welcoming. Staff was very nice, environment was very clean, and not to mention the modern paint scheme and furniture! All you have to do is enter your phone number into the keypad at counter before paying and their system will keep track. At the rate my husband and I have been stopping by, we'll be getting our free drink very soon! ;) So why do we love this place? Options! They have so many variety of flavors and blends...all of our favorites...including taro for my husband & durian for me. I know many of you may be wondering wth is durian? While some who know what it is may be wrinkling their nose in disgust. I grew up eating this "king of fruits" (wikipedia) and love the creamy, sweet taste of it. Tealicious uses the real stuff and not powder. Makes a huge difference! My husband can't stand the smell or taste of it. So I'll never have to share :) I wouldn't recommend durian for newbies though. Perhaps start with a milk tea blend or a fruit blend. Simple black tea on the rocks is also quite good. Try some of the add ons, such as boba or one of the jellies. There are sample cups at the counter with numbers corresponding to what it is on the menu. Don't be shy about trying those. If you have any questions about these teas, don't hesitate to ask. Man. Even before writing this review, I want to go right now to get a bubble tea! I got a coconut black tea with cream with tapioca. It was so fresh, so rich, SO SO SO divine. I think this might be the first time I have felt this way about a bubble tea. The tapioca were perfectly soft, fluffy, not too chewy. Also tried their macaroons. Got a pistachio and a lemon. Not the best I've ever had but they are decently yummy. Service is friendly and fast. I love that they do label the drinks so that you can't mix them up in a group. The cafe itself is really cute with a lot of different chairs for lounging and chatting while enjoying the bubble tea. My first trip to Tealicious and it won't be my last. This place kicks butt. The have a HUGE variety of drinks. I mean, I don't even know half the stuff they have on their menu. They break their drinks down into 7 different categories: cream tea, coffee, juice, green tea, black tea, cream blend, and ice blend. In each of those categories, there are no less than 13 options. I can only assume that they'll make any combo your heart desires. My wife got the peach juice and it was exactly that. In fact, it was too sweet for her to finish. Almost like a nectar. She loved the taste despite it being too sweet for her. I got the Strawberry Banana Cream Blend (smoothie) and it was the best smoothie I have ever had! On top of all their drinks, they have a huge list of "sinkers." You can get a variety of add-ins such as gelatin (10 different options), tapioca, pudding, and "others" (agar jelly, aloe vera, green bean, herbal jelly, red bean) for just 50 cents. A lot of my friends were raving about bubble tea from Tealicious so I drove a bit out of the way to get some. It's located next to the HEB plus and there are lots of shops in the area so you can go grocery shopping with a bubble tea in hand (is there a better way to go grocery shopping?). The interior is bright and there was a fun assortment of chairs to sit in - hard, modern plastic ones (like at froyo places) and soft, comfy ones. As expected of Bubble tea places, the menu was daunting. So much to choose from! I got my standby, the taro cream tea with tapioca. For fun I added some herbal jellies. They have soooooo many jellies. I like that they put the jellies in jars out front so you can see them. I also got some macarons. They sell madeleine cookies and candy bars too but they are pretty generic so I didn't get them. I didn't have to wait long for my drink even though there were several customers in front of me. The staff are nice enough but not overwhelmingly friendly. My taro bubble tea was ok. A little too creamy for my tastes. The tapioca and herbal jelly were pretty spot on. Extremely soft. If I go back I will definitely ask for extra jellies and tapioca. I probably won't though because it is a little out of the way. And I am devoted to Boba-ology. Before moving to San Antonio, I worked at a boba shop for 4 years and was devastated thinking I wouldn't have any good boba after moving. I searched on Yelp and the only promising one was Tealicious because the menu was similar to one of the boba shops back in Dallas. I came here and got their #9 (milk tea with herbal jelly) since I'm really picky with my boba and the drink was delicious. Not too sweet, creamy and they don't load up the ice here. The interior of the shop was nice and modern and would be a nice place to sit and hang out.
