Never had a bad boba here. I always order the taro cream with extra boba. Their boba is just the right amount of sweetness, it's chewy and the taro cream is very rich and tasty. Always a refreshing treat! The location is not too bad, yes it's on marbach but it's super lit up and lots of families coming. The service is not too bad, it's mainly young people working but they're chill for the most part and are willing to answer any questions for you. I used to love this place and I can't say I do anymore. One of the girls behind the counter has completely ruined this place for us. I came in and ordered some stuff with my family. I love their soursop drink and ordered that. Turns out, they didn't have it in stock. I was notified of that AFTER I had paid for it in cash. The manager came out and tried to offer me a different drink "for free". Except all their other drinks cost less than the drink I ordered. She was trying to pressure me into just choosing something else. I didn't want anything else so I asked for my money back for my drink. It took a minute so I waited. When I asked for my money back, she responded with a very snarky "that's not how voiding works. It'll go back on your credit card." Except I didn't pay with a credit card. So I told her I paid in cash. She responds with "well I don't know this. I didn't take your order." I said "Ok you have my receipt right in front of you and you didn't even bother asking me how I had paid." So she starts up with "Ma'am I've been very nice to you and I've offered to give you something else." This girl was not getting the message. I DON'T WANT ANYTHING ELSE. I just want my darn money back for the drink that they can't make!! And last I checked, pressuring me to choose something that I don't want and withholding my money isn't nice at all. I asked her again for my money back so she did something on her computer and gave me $5.37. My drink cost $6.85, plus tax, which is $7.41, total. I tried to tell her "ma'am, my drink cost $6.85, plus tax" so she got super flustered and complained that it was a lot of math and gave me a dollar. Ok. So I got $6.37 back at this point. So I repeated "ma'am, my drink cost $6.85, plus tax. If you need help with the math, I can do it for you." She lost it. She raised her voice and started going "WELL THEN YOU CAN WORK MY JOB AND WORK 9-5" and rattled on and on and finally just gave me another dollar. So we're up to $7.37. She continued to call me a "problem" and accused me of being "impatient". At this point, there was a loooooooong line, just because this girl didn't want to refund my money and wanted to force me into choosing something else. Epically unprofessional, astoundingly rude. To the people standing behind me that day, I am so so sorry. I really liked it here. I've been to a few boba cafes and this one by far was the best tasting. They had many, many options. I tried the coconut cream blend with boba. It was so, so good. I feel the prices are also fair for the size. My niece also really enjoyed it. She had the watermelon iced blend. We didn't get to sit in the cafe of course due to the times. Actually got an almond milk tea with boba. Its a cute, quaint little spot in a little shopping plaza near HEB. There was one person working the day I came so it did take a little bit of time. Other then that I love boba drinks and was happy to find one near my house. Its clean and sanitary. Person working behind the counter wore gloves and a mask. Covid safety policies are in place. So please wear a mask. Cost not too bad about $5 for the tea with boba and comes in a cute sealed plastic cup. Lots of parking since its a shopping center near a super market. read more

From out of town and was craving boba tea so we found this spot right by HEB. Not much to the store decorations-wise but I bet it's due to COVID-19. There IS big wall menu though that shows everything they have! Friendly staff. Wide variety of drinks and boba to choose from, ranging from cookies and cream to fruity flavors, such as strawberry. The toppings they have were nice too as they had normal tapioca boba, popping boba, and other add-ones that'll add texture to your drink. You can adjust the sweetness too, although I wasn't asked my sweet preference but the drink came out excellent. I got my classic favorite Taro with lychee popping boba. It was divine! Nice, smooth slush. Great flavor, not too sweet at all. At first, I was a bit worried about the popping boba and whether it was going to overwhelm my drink... but it didn't at all! Nice popping feel. Fun, cozy spot but the drinks are made with way too much syrup/powder! Sounds like an odd thing to have too much flavor but it really is overpowering. We had the cherry slush and a pistachio frappe. My 8 year old couldn't even get halfway through it without smacking her lips and telling me it was too sweet. That says a lot! read more

Tealicious Cafe off of 410 near 151 offers a bubble tea flavor selection that trumps most others. They only offer one size, so you pay for what you get, but you get quite a bit. They've got their full menu posted on the right wall near the register, so take your time and stare at that, but just make sure you're not in the way of the register. The shop is clean, bright, and spacious, so you don't have to worry about encroaching on other people's space. There's plenty of room to come in with your friends or family and sit and chat over your drinks. Besides bubble teas they have Vietnamese iced coffee, coffees, juices, smoothies, and macarons. So far I've tried their Vietnamese iced coffee and thai tea with tapioca pearls. There's a lot of ice in the drinks, but they don't skimp out on tapioca pearls or other sinkers. Speaking of sinkers, they have the largest variety of any bubble tea place I've been to. I was curious about their mixed coffee and asked the guy manning the register about it, and he offered me a sample of it. Even though Tealicious has a great variety of flavors I can't seem to deviate from these 3 flavors. Not only is the taste delicious but they are perfectly proportioned and very filling. The cafe has a very cute and comfortable ambiance with board games available if you decide to hang out for a while. My daughters (6 and 11) love coming to Tealicious to grab a drink and spend a little time on a Connect Four tournament. Overall Tealicious is a great place for a delicious filling snack. If you also need your eyebrows waxed make sure you check out Glamour Eyebrows a couple of doors down. There's way too many items on the menu. I had no idea of what to order... Ended up with both the crazy drink and the green thai tea with boba. The crazy drink is really sweet. You've got a combination of every topping you could imagine: egg pudding, lychee, basil seeds, etc. The base drink flavoring tasted like a lychee flavor. Not bad but also not what I was expecting based on the description the cashier had told me. DEFINITELY CRAZY. The green thai tea was pretty good but the boba was not tasty at all. Best boba tea in San Antonio I have tried all cream blends and milk teas. I do drink all of them with no sugar or as little as sugar as possible because if not they will taste like diabetes. They have WiFi and board games to play while you enjoy your drink in there. Most drinks will run you at least $4 which isn't bad for the large cup you get. They will be fine as long as they don't change and start offering cup sizes and things like the other places. . I was so excited try this place one day and I just happened to be right next to it. I think my excitement placed a high bar on it because I was slightly disappointed with my drink. I ordered the thai green tea with boba and it was just slightly too syrupy. I enjoyed the flavor, the boba was good, but there is some sort of syrup or sugar thickener that was just too heavy in it. It wasn't even too sweet, just weirdly thick but watery. I definitely want to go back and try other flavors to see if this is the norm or just a one time thing. Tried this place FINALLY! I ended up getting a Thai tea drink and a Vanilla Boba drink; they were both delicious! The place was very clean like what I've read in other people's comments and it seemed like a nice place to hang out at. I was surprised that they had a corner where they've set out Connect Four and other board games for customers! I saw a girl run over and grab a deck of cards and I've never seen that before...besides maybe Cracker Barrel. They have a ton of menu options and if you don't like the Tapioca, you can ask for the drink to be without it. They also sell other little snacks like Yan Yan Sticks, Pocky, some sort of gummie bears and a bit more. This is a lot like what we had in Hawaii, which makes me happy to have it so close to home now! read more

If you are ever getting boba in SanAn then this place or it's other location are the places to go. Many of their fruit based drinks are made with actual honest to God fruit and you can definitely taste the difference. In my mind there is no other place to go in San Antonio. Fresh ingredients, quality products, and service to match. The staff are pretty responsive given the massive menu that's located in the cafe.
