The owners Brian and Lynn along with their staff are always kind and have never failed to not meet the standards of their customers. Hands down, best coffee blended boba i have ever had (hazelnut coffee to be exact)!!!!! It had a strong coffee flavor, and definitely did not taste like they use powder, but instead, real coffee. I had ordered the tapioca cream tea with boba. They do allow you to order inside and are maintaining social distancing which is great. The drinks come in one size and they are a little more expensive than your average boba spot. Boba was chewy and had pretty good flavor. The drink itself was okay. I'll have to try their other drinks (they have SO many options so you'll certainly find the drink for you). I didn't have to wait too long to get my drink which is another plus. Staff recognizes me on sight, they make polite conversation without it feeling forced and no one makes a big deal about my 2 year old exploring the place with her imagination. Today's visit prompted me to describe the bubbles to a friend who I've yet to take and got a bubble free drink. The only words I could think of was silky, none of that tacky chew that sticks to your teeth like taffy. One of the best bubble tea places in town. Their flavors taste so good and they mix in fresh fruit so you get a more authentic flavor. Many of the other places just use a powder mix that doesn't taste like the real fruit all the time. I could feel the grittiness of the powder at one restaurant. I wanted to know what kind of cream they used in their creamy drinKs, I was told it was a non dairy creamer and when they showed me, it was a Great Value brand tub of powder creamer. That took away a star for my review because to me it's like cheating. Use the real thing even if that means the price point would go up a bit. I don't know if the Thai iced tea with boba was freshly brewed, or the powder, but it certainly didn't taste like it was freshly brewed. Another negative was the small amount of boba in my drink. I had the Thai tea with boba, and they were accommodating to my preferences of less sweet and easy ice. The boba texture was a bit hard, but I also tried a friend's smoothie with jelly and the jelly was really good! The layout and ambience of this place is nice, I can see myself being here to study sometime. They also have many options that I will continue to try. They also have a few games on the side to just chill with friends and play EDIT: My second visit was not as good at my first and I have to say the service is not good here. I have been a loyal customer to this location since it opened. Back in the day the smoothies were authentic, natural, and refreshing. Came here yesterday to order a couple of smoothies and to my dismay the drinks were overly processed and unnaturally sweet. Instead of making smoothies with natural ingredients and fresh fruit they substituted it with colored powder to flavor the drink. Utterly disgusting. Place is heading downhill such a bummer since this place was the go to. I ordered the papaya smoothie ended up with a highlighter orange colored drink! Best place for boba! If you order a fruit flavor, they'll use real fruits if you ask them! My favorite ones are Oolong milk tea, avocado, and taro. They're all good with boba or grass jelly sinkers! The cups are huge (unlike a lot of other lame San Antonio boba places) and you'll definitely get your money's worth. Also if you get overwhelmed with their large menu, you can always ask them to create a flavor for you! I've done this a few times when I was feeling adventurous and they came up with a couple of my favorites (but I forgot to write down what was it in so I couldn't ask for it again the next time I came in).
