In July, our 9 month old daughter suffered an illness which required subsequent therapies after dismissal from the hospital. We immediately contacted Team4Kids to schedule evaluations for both Occupational and Physical Therapies. Amanda L. was able to get us scheduled for the following week. Lauren and Hayley were both so thorough with their evaluations. They answered all of our questions and were so sweet with our baby. Therapies were scheduled multiple days a week. Both Mia and Amanda B. worked hard to get us a schedule that covered all the services we needed. We were seen for therapy in both the Surprise and Peoria offices. Each day we came for therapy, we were greeted by those at the front desk (Mia, Ashley, Katie R, Shasta, etc) with a smiling face. We primarily worked with Egle, Steve, Jill and Amber. They all made an amazing team. Their dedication to our daughter and our family allowed her to make quick gains! They provided amazing therapy services and parent education. My son has been going to TEAM 4 kids for about a year now. He has a sensory discomfort when it comes to certain textures so my wife and I enrolled him into messy play. Ms. Lindsay and Ms. Mi are the coordinators for the messy play class. They do a phenomenal job at facilitating the class. They make all their products from scratch so the kids can see the entire process from start to finish. Once each product is made that's when the real training begins. They each focus on one child at a time helping them touch the texture. One thing that I love about them is that they are very patient. My son pulls his hand away a lot when they try to reach for the texture. They make everything so comfortable for my son that he eventually ends up touching the texture. After each class it's over my son walks out like if he just finished a science experiment lol. Thank you Ms. Lindsay and Ms. Mi for helping my son overcome his discomfort with textures. My daughter has been coming to TEAM 4 KIDS-Peoria for about 2 months now for torticolis. It has been nothing but a positive experience from the first day! I knew she would be in good hands at her evaluation appointment. The entire staff is thorough and friendly, even from the first phone call they were clear on what steps to take and kept us updated throughout the process with insurance and referrals! The front desk receptionists always greet you and make you and your children feel welcomed. My daughter's team is Ms. Amber & Ms. Sara and they have helped her torticolis improve drastically! They stayed extremely patient with her when she was having a hard time being out of my arms because my daughter was very attached to me. They continued to do her exercises and distract her and now my daughter does not mind coming to therapy and loves it! I highly recommend Team 4 Kids in Peoria. My son has been working with Lauren and Adam in physical therapy and Whitney in feeding therapy. Chelsea has also been a pleasure to work with in physical therapy. The team has done an exceptional job in supporting him. They are highly knowledgeable and my son enjoys every visit. I am always given updates on his goals and have received helpful tips after asking what more I can do at home. He has progressed immensely because of their impact on him. We just recently had evaluations done for my child, and needs a variety of therapies needed and multiple times per week. I appreciated each of the therapists in the evaluations. They listened to me and were understanding. Initially, scheduling the appointments entailed multiple visits per day and various times. 10 minutes after I left the office I got a phone call from a girl named Nicole and she had heard about our crazy schedule. She had looked at what we needed and recreated a schedule that combined services back to back and reduced the number of visits to the office. I cannot say enough great things about this company! My daughter attends Speech and counts down the days every week until she gets to go. Miss Hannah is so amazing, she is patient and caring with my daughter. Under unfrequented circumstances we cannot make her original day and time, my daughter never worries about who she will see, as she always walks out with a huge smile! The moment we walk into the clinic, we are greeted and known by name. Team4Kids. Let's just say team4Kids are soo amazing. They are soo good with my son very patient kind loving. They are all respectful . An very flexible with everything. I love the lady's in the front office Melissa & Laura their soo nice n sweet always greeting me an my son making us feel very comfortable in. I am writing this review based off my experience as a student. I was given the pleasure to wirk along side Whitney as a SLPA student. I was able to complete my hours for licensing through Team 4 Kids. Team 4 Kids allowed me to learn based off hands on experiences. I was supported through my entire time here. I felt like I was always a part of the team! We are so blessed that we found Team4Kids. We moved here from texas and we're looking for a good place to have therapy at and this was our place to be at everything here has been positive and encouraging. My son started services a little over a month ago for speech and in the few visits he's had, he's already shown great improvement. He now will be starting occupational services and he's so excited especially because everyone here has been so kind. The scheduling is flexible and i love that emails are sent out with appointments that have become available or classes they are holding. i live that co-treatment appointments are offered as well, that's a nice bonus for all of us busy parents. My 8 years old autistic son have been with T4K for a year and I have seen a huge improvement in his daily life. RBT Colleen and BCBA Rodrigo have been exceptional with their therapy sessions. Colleen works with him using prompting, labeling, sorting, and choosing. I can tell that my son knows the language and he is functioning like any typical 3rd grader. Even his teacher at school notice the difference in his work. When we began the service, my son was crying a lot and had no reason to cry, but through ABA therapy, his crying became less. My daughter is 5 and comes to T4K for occupational therapy services. She does one appt by herself and one appt in a handwriting group each week. She LOVES coming. She loves the office staff, she loves the materials in the building and she loves her therapists! They care so deeply about her success at this facility. Totally love coming here. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. We found TEAM4Kids on Facebook after many parents had recommended them for help with speech and OT services, including a friend/neighbor. After the pandemic happened, our school had let us down with no help from our special Ed preschool and we needed a new option fast. They got us evaluated and in therapy within 2 weeks! I've seen more improvement in the 2 months we've been here vs the school over the past school year. Our son who is autistic and has Sensory processing disorder attends Team 4 Kids. He receives Speech, OT, Feeding and ABA. We have seen so much growth in the short time he has been there. My daughter is currently going here and attends therapy at the Peoria office. Adam is the therapist who is working with my daughter, let me tell you, he is amazing. We did have to miss a couple of sessions due to her being sick but it honestly did not matter. He works with her so well that we see more improvement every day. She loves him too. I brought my 3 month old son in for a PT evaluation. Karissa who answered my phone calls was so patient on the phone. I came in and saw Amber, Physical Therapist, with concerns for potential torticollis since I noticed my son was only looking to the left. She gave a thorough evaluation and answered all my questions. Because I was worried about a potential tongue tie, she was able to find an available Speech therapist, Katie, who recommended me coming in for a feeding evaluation. We love Team 4 kids! We started here 10 years ago with my son! The team was amazing and helped Nash concur all his PT, OT and Speech Therapy goals! My son has been attending OT, PT and FT at TEAM 4 Kids for the last four months and he has made great progress! Kayla, OT has been great to get my son to where he needs to be developmentally. We love this place! My son has been getting Speech Therapy here for nearly a year and has improved tremendously. He loves his therapist, Brent, and is always ecstatic to see him. The staff it's awesome, always so personable and accommodating. I've only ever had one issue when it came to cancel and reschedule an appointment because my child was still sick.
