They did an oil change for me on my gwagon, way cheaper than how much the dealership wanted to charge me, and they know how to work on luxury cars which is rare, it took the guy only 20mins. And Mercedes wanted me to wait 2 hrs minimum without same day appt. I was able to do same day apt here! I came back when I had a check engine light, and they said it was just 1 of my coils, #5, and showed me the screen, which I had a feeling it was that since I accelerated really hard -- they ordered the part from mercedes to get delivered to the shop so I don't have to drive there, changed it as soon as I arrived. Less than an hr I was in and out. I love the quickness and transparency. I always hated mechanics who try to come up with multiple issues every time you go for 1 thing. But they're so honest and respectful here, they have 3 shops and doing well from speaking to the owner, they're not desperate to make money off ppl, he takes pride in being known for his honesty and that's how he has a lot of regulars. They should be called Integrity Auto with how much integrity the owner has. If you get a chance to chat with him, super nice family guy! They earned another regular now. My car was towed here after a breakdown and when they were telling me what was wrong with my car, first he told me the part was "4-something" and other vague explanations like "it's the cooling system for the hybrid." When I asked what part exactly, I was told another vague answer. I looked up a couple parts that I thought it could be and then called back and asked for clarification because the parts I found were different prices. WARNING : UNETHICAL AND SHADY I have been looking for a kia optima 2011- 2013 for about a month now and was excited yesterday when I saw an ad posted on craigslist for a 2011 priced at 8,500 with a clean title and no accidents. The ad seemed legit and when I texted the number provided, I got a reply in less than 5 minutes! They agreed to let me come check out the car at 4:30pm and were very accommodating. When I showed up I was greeted by a man who was friendly and who gladly walked over to the car and gestured us to check it out. The car was clean, in great shape, and seemed like it had no apparent issues. I asked the normal questions like how many owners did the car have, the title status, any accidents, and practically verified the information that was posted on the craigslist ad. FIRST RED FLAG, he did not know any information and made a rude face expression and seemed surprised that I would ask to verify info. SECOND RED FLAG, he lied on the craigslist post (attached photo of ad) and said there was no accident, but when I asked him about the Carfax he decided to mention that the car was once a total loss due to being hit on the side and the original owners not wanting it and gave up their ownership of the vehicle but that the accident was minor and went on a tangent about how people with money buy new cars and when they gets in a small accident they don't want the vehicle anymore. Keep in mind, TOTAL LOSS means that the vehicle's damaged outweighed the vehicle's worth, meaning that it could not have been minor. He said that although it was once a total loss, it's still has a clean title. He downplayed it and thought I wasn't going to know what total loss meant. I looked at the car for a couple more minutes and conversed with the man a little bit and took off. Today, I thought about the car and was so eager to get a car in general that I decided to call back and come see it one more time along with the Carfax. When I called the same man answered and said, "I saw you yesterday and I showed you the carfax already! I already have someone coming to see the car! You called me 5 times, I can provide screenshots". Keep in mind, I called him twice yesterday, once to tell him I ran into traffic and will be a bit late and once today and he never physically showed me the carfax. I was so disturbed by this exchange that I decided to purchase a VIN check for some odd reason just to receive the information I wanted because although now it was evident I wasn't going to purchase the car, I wanted to see if this car was even worth it. So, I did and let me tell you... these people are untrustworthy and unethical!! I found out that it was salvaged in Indiana and moved here. Sellers do this which is a process called "title washing" what this does is strip the car of the title in a new state and sellers can sell the car for twice as much. I called my mechanic who's trustworthy and earnest, he confirmed all this information. PLEASE BEWARE. I saw the previous reviews for this place and although I do not deny the fact that these mechanics and salesman are nice and at times can be genuine and honest, they have shady business going on and you don't want any part of it. I will be honest in this review... I have never had any work done by this garage but it is the owner's action in the neighborhood that effect this review. He is plain and simple a menace to the surrounding neighborhood. He rides a "crotch rocket" motorcycle up and down the adjoining street at high speed, revs and whines out the accelerator when coming down said street with blatant disregard for the neighbors who share the same neighborhood. That's not how you share a community. When approached about the issue he threatened to "kill me, break my legs, piss on the police when they arrive and then piss on me". Wow..! He asked me to leave which I did with no issue, but he followed me to my truck trying to get into a fight, again with my back turned and leaving the premises as he requested. His fellow employee had to restrain him. And, this was from just nothing of trying to be a friendly neighbor. This is unacceptable behavior by a business owner. As of today he still continues this behavior of riding the motorcycle. I just called the police again and got in contact with the City of El Cajon and see if they will change his attitude. All of this can be resolved with him just complying and not be a menace to the neighborhood, but he can't do that either. read more
