Visited with a group of 9 on a Thursday to enjoy 90 minutes of game time! The person working did a…read moregreat job at explaining games and options our group had. We ended up dividing the 90 minutes into (3) 30 minute games so our groups could keep rotating. They have lockers to lock belongings in, rooms can host up to 6 people and have options to order simple beverages while you play. Our first game was Box Party which is their version of a Mario Party. There are a couple of mini game options as you work through the map. This by far was our group's favorite game! We chose the 30 minute game but easily could have played it for the full 90 minutes. Our second game was Floor is Lava. This one was fun but a bit harder than I was expecting it to be. There are parts where you bump into other players so I recommend playing with good friends or family. This is more of a group task game. Our third game was Angry Birds. This overall was the group's least favorite as it wasn't very physical. The game takes on the classic idea of launching birds at towers to get points. This was more individual tasks than team tasks. Overall, this was such a fun experience! They offer games for any aged guest and for any comfort level of players together. I enjoyed having the personalization of our "meeps" to play in each game too.

I won't ruin it, but I will say it was definitely fun and there was some intensity to it. While it utilized VR headsets, tt definitely was not a full VR experience. You interact with the game on the walls. There was an option to purchase beverages during the experience which we did not do. After the ad popped up a few times it got to be a little annoying. It was just the two of us so we were able to do each game repeatedly, which made it even more fun because it allowed us to figure out how to solve the puzzles. Because of that I wouldn't suggest going with more than four or five people. Overall, I would say it was worth the trip to Oakbrook.

Very cool place! I've never done group VR before. Its almost like an escape room experience. They…read morehave different rooms for each game. They last about 30 minutes or so. The staff were friendly and it seemed well organized. We played Davy Jones and Rebel Moon. There were a couple hiccups with equipment that the game was paused to fix. Its definitely a workout!

We played the zombie game first and then the squid game. It's a bit exhausting but trust me. It is so much fun no matter what age group you are. You're gonna have a lot of fun The best part was the VR experience where your team members/people who are playing with you they are in the costumes not really, but as per the VR. The staff was very helpful. There are a lot of games to play since we chose zombie and squid game we just had blast So playing for almost hour and a half even though we were very tired and exhausted we still didn't feel like leaving the room. We enjoyed holding the guns and shooting at the zombies and the squid game is more like competing against each other. I highly recommend this place and would recommend at least 5 to 6 people in a group cause it's more fun when there are more people and maximum they hold in a room is six people. So minimum two and maximum six I would recommend going there over the weekdays if possible for two reasons 1. Weekday the price is a bit cheaper like five bucks cheaper. 2. It's gonna be less busy on the weekdays. All the staff members, including Matthew, Zee and Robin were really nice and helpful. Definitely a must place for everyone to go and try this at least one time.

Good evening, My…read morefamily and I visited Zao today and had a wonderful time. We utilized the batting cages, the mini golf, arcade, and go karts. My kids (8 y/o and 5 y/o) were so excited to exchange their tokens for prizes. While my 5 year old son was searching the prizes he would like to purchase, he somehow lost the card with all his tickets. He was so excited to use them so you can understand how devastated he was. We had just scanned the card and knew 380 tickets were on his card. On the verge of tears after seeing his sister with her prizes, your employee asked how he could help. We explained what happened and he took his time to add 380 tickets to a new card and let my son choose his prizes. You have no idea how much this changed our day. Instead of going home with a crying kid, he was so happy to walk away with a sword and candy bracelet. I hope I'm not getting the employee in trouble but he was a Nashville Predators fan. We don't travel to Valpo often so it was so nice to be taken care of. Please thank him for us and you have yourself a wonderful employee. We'll be back! -Shawn

I give Zao Island a 4 stars because overall its a good experience. The arcade has a wide selection…read moreof games and they arent horribly priced. Go-Carts are always fun, lines go by quick, staff is kind, only complaint for go carts is they dont give as much time as they used too. Laser tag is nice, if its hot though it will be very stuffy inside making it not as enjoyable in summer but any other season it is nice. Lastly for the attractions, mini golf. Mini golf is fun but its not like how it used to be. The areas that are supposed to have water are now drained which kinda takes some of the experience away. The courses arent as clean as they used to be and a lot of the old decorations are gone as well. I havent had their food other than the pizza and the pizza is very good. I would go there just for the pizza. I do think that 50 cents is a little ridiculous for a refill for as much money as this place makes. The attractions are a little overpriced. If you go here your most likely gonna spend a couple hundred dollars. It would be cool if they had like an all day pass or something like that. I do have to complain about how hot it is in there as well. Obviously they cannot control the heat but they only had one fan throughout the whole building which is definitely not enough. Everyone was fanning themselves down and sweating. So maybe so AC or more fans would be nice. Overall this place is always a pretty good experience but definitely has its flaws.
