Toddler/Sensory/Infant POV review: Pros: toddler pros was huge here!! They had SO much for my 2 year old to do. There was a couple sensory activities - corn kernel barrels they could sit in an play and 3 big sand boxes. My son was happy. They also have multiple swing sets throughout the property, TONS of play houses and farms, tons of toys, etc. pumpkins littered everywhere which was great. This was just a wonderful experience overall for my son who is autistic and has sensory processing disorder. My husband also got me apple cider slush and omg so good!!! Only in Texas would you make apple cider into a slush and it worked. Cons: we went at 11:30 am on a Sunday morning. There was a long line to park which took a really long time so plan better than we did - maybe try right when they open? Just took a really long time to move cars off the road and into parking followed by a line to pay once you've parked. Next up is my infant review - she's 10 months old and I wore her almost the whole time. Not too much she could do but she was content. With how many play houses and structures there are, I'm hopeful next year there might be a few for crawlers to enjoy! The concessions were limited so plan to bring snacks and a lunch of your own for your littles if they're picky. Extra note: not very stroller friendly, we brought our double stroller and it was a pain to drag on the gravel parking lot and so once we got on the property we parked it off to the corner and didn't us it.

This pumpkin patch was incredible! Kennedy and I both had such a magical time! The family really made the experience lovely, just good people bringing out the good in others! Love it!

The barrel train rides were a favorite and I think parents liked feeding the farm animals more than the kids ;) The photo opportunities are endless!

There was a lot of flies at the truck with Santa in it which everyone wanted to take photos in so that was a bit gross but short of that it was a very enjoyable experience. My two year old went on their little train ride which was hilarious since she wasn't expecting that and I'm not sure I was either lol. She came back white knuckled and happy so it was fine. Lots of smoke from the fire pit made it hard to really smell any of the trees. It does add a nice touch to the place though and keeps folks warm which is a plus on these cooler December days. Prices on trees were quite fair (they are precut only this and possibly next year for many they have but still worth purchasing) and the one we got was perfect though they didn't trim the bottom as I asked them to do so we had to do that at home which was not anticipated but we got it done. I look forward to coming here next year. I usually go to Calloways and I wanted to find a local smaller, less commercial place to get my trees from and this one fits the bill. Next time I will be asking that they secure our tree since 380 is a nightmare when it's not gridlock traffic and you're trying to go 50mph down a windy road lol.

We learned about Spookly the Pumpkin and enjoyed the most amazing pumpkin popsicles on the planet. We came back this month for the Blueberries. SO FUN. Yes, wear boots, especially after rain. The property is luscious with trees and a creek. They also have bee hives you can observe (from a safe distance). The blueberry popsicles are amazing. All four flavors of Spring popsicles were delicious. We had a popsicle "flight" and tried them all! Restrooms are porta-potties with a hand washing pump sink, so come prepared with your little tot oxo car potty if you're like me and would rather take littles to the car to potty. The owner, Jill, is such a gracious host. She is delightful and enjoys meeting everyone! We got my Dad a block of blueberry fudge, and he said it was the best fudge he has ever eaten (which is saying a lot!!!) This is our new "happy place" for a Fall and Spring excursion to enjoy the seasonal delights of pumpkins and blueberries!!

Don't forget to also try their popsicles.

But I had a nice time just walking around, looking at the trees. There were a few raspberries to be picked, but you have to really look. I was also told there were blueberries and tomatoes but they weren't evident to me. It's a nice place. The folks were very welcoming.Theres a little area to the side where you can sit in the shade. You're just in the open field and that's it. There's also some plastic cups that they give you to put your flowers and you can pick/cut your own flowers. 12 or $10. Just a caution if you are not sure footed be careful because it's a little unsteady as you're walking from one area to the next. Wear long pants because as you go through the bushes looking for raspberries, it can get a little scratchy around the ankles. And since it's outdoors, it's extremely hot so make sure you wear a hat, sunscreen, and everything else to be comfortable in this type of weather. I would not recommend bringing any pets because the area is not wide open as you're looking at the roses on the above ground beds or looking for the fruits in the bushes. But I do recommend this place during the high season. Easy to locate. Off the main road and there it is. I would recommend calling before going out there. But yeah I'm glad I went and people were coming in looking for peaches.

I didn't see any face painter but my husband said there was one , I believe it was the older woman sitting at a booth with a bunch of plants and I honestly walked right by. There wasn't tons of people (we came in the afternoon) and you'd think that people working there would be more engaging. I saw the owner once but not even a hello. He was very friendly last year and even took a family pic for us. This year I was just very disappointed. Perhaps towards Halloween it may be worth a visit but I don't see a point in returning again. Very sad. They did have (as usual) lots of plastic play toys for the kids to enjoy and a few bounce houses. The mini cows and goats....yeah, behind an electric fence. Seriously. Better time spent at the Aubrey Peanut Festival which is free and has TONS of things for kids to do and a Petting Zoo as well as pony rides. This was not worth $20 IMO
