I was surprised when I arrived and went in that the staff were not wearing masks. This place is a good drive away from the city and a different county so maybe it's not as enforced. We went on a Thursday. Admission was $10 and that included a small pumpkin, hay ride, hay maze and a small cup of of feed for the goats and cows. We were there after lunch and it was not crowded at all so I was able to let my toddler run free. There is a bbq restaurant inside the store that sells a few sandwiches and sides. Sandwiches are $9 and sides are $2. Drinks were around $2 as well. The sandwich was good but not worth $9.

Great feed/farm store that includes a great selection of gifts, high-end shoes, purses, jewelry and table ware. Whoever does the buying for the gift side of the store has done an amazing job. Lots of unique finds as well as name brand. Fun kids toy section and vintage toys like kaleidoscopes, tin tops, and jump ropes to name a few. There is also a full farm/ feed store. There is a cafe within the store that looks to have a solid following! It was busy when we stopped by. We were here on a weekday and I've heard they have specialty menus and cook outs on the weekend. Out the back doors of the feed store is the animal barn with goats, sheep, chickens and longhorns. Its all free and there was feed in tubs that you could give to the animals if desired. Loved all the goats and the friendly longhorn that was begging for some of the giant pellets. How could I say no to those big ole eyes?! We became buddies...cautiously, of course. Fun outing for something to do. Really enjoyed it all!

Although it was a pain to get to as they were tarring the roads when we went, the smile on my kiddos face was priceless. This is a very small petting farm. You buy the food in the store and then go out back. We saw so many sheeps, goats, chickens, and a cow. Didn't get to see any long horns but we had fun. There is a little Cafe in the store. My little had so much fun. I'll definitely come back during pumpkin patch season. The folks here are so nice as well.

Of all the pumpkin patches this is the only one, in my opinion, worth the cost and time (and drive). The staff are all so friendly and helpful, the grounds are well kept and plenty large for all the people who visit. Our $10 entry included entry, a fun hay ride, feed for the goats, feed for the large steers/bulls & a pumpkin for each of us. It also included the giant hay maze. We drive over an hour to Preston Trail Farms each year and each year we have so much fun. I highly recommend coming for the Pumpkin Patch, I also recommend, to avoid all the field trips, arriving when it opens or after lunch time and any day but Friday :) **TIP: wear boots & active clothing - it is always muddy & between the hayride & maze you may get a little dirty

This place has a really solid burger, it is reasonably priced and very fresh tasting. Walk in the store and head to the back left corner to order food. There's indoor and outdoor seating as well!

    Feeding the friendly cows

My husband planned a surprise trip here cause this city girl loves cows. TOTALLY worth it. We had BBQ sandwich, cheeseburger and tots - all were yummy. The staff was super friendly. Petting / feeding the cows was amazing! Since it was after Thanksgiving it was free!

    Friendly goat

Great outing with the family. We enjoyed feeding the animals especially the longhorns, riding the hayride finding our way through the hay maze and so many great opportunities for taking pictures.

Super fun pumpkin patch for all, family and kiddos. Purchase a cup of animal food and feed the animals. The animals are so big and healthy. The Longhorns are soooo big and beautiful! Enjoy a hayride, the maze, and take lots of pictures with the family.

Quite disappointing experience. Took our family there for the fall Pumpkin Patch but there was really nothing to do. A hay ride with nothing to see, feeding some animals and a hay maze. That's it. Not worth the $60 for a family of 4.

Our favorite fall family tradition! We always look forward to our annual visit. The kids love all the activities, and I like how they can observe the actual pumpkin vines in the field. It's always a fun day on the farm when we visit. Lots of great photo spots too!

Such a beautiful little farm! It was a beautiful day!

I LOVED it here. My mom brought us here to see the Longhorns (my siblings and I are from CA, so she wanted us to get a real Texas feel), the staff was super friendly and he even recommended us other farms to check out too. We paid $4 for a bucket of feed for the farm animals and it was plenty to last us (3 people) a good 20-30 minutes. It was very entertaining and beautiful to see all the animals they had. I bought some souvenirs here too, I just wish they had magnets! Having the friendly staff with a very welcoming attitude definitely warmed us to Texas :) Thank you guys!

Family-run farm which is absolutely worth the drive to visit. Come to see the windmill, red barn, green JD tractor, etc. Stay to talk to the great folks making Preston Trail a Texas treasure. I see a Holiday Visit at Preston Trail Farms in our little family's future!

    Hay ride and all

We went out to Preston Trail Farms this past weekend so our baby could see the pumpkins and animals. Haven't not been to a pumpkin patch in a long time i didn't know what to expect. All in all it was a great time. To get in it was $10 per person. The baby was free. We got access to all the rides, animals and hay maze. We got two cups of feed for the animals as well. We walked around at first and took some pictures among the pumpkins, hay and other areas. Then went inside to get something to eat. The staff was very friendly and the food was good. We both had fried chicken sandwiches. The only drawback and keep in mind its a farm are all the flies. But hay what can you do (see what i did there, lol). The tractor ride was fun. There is a little story on black boards if you follow along. The animals were eager to eat as well. The hay maze wa fun but they have lots of nats. Didn't bother me but my wife was swatting them. I think we left with 4 med to large pumpkins and 3 small ones for about $32 or so. All in all it was a great time. We'll be back in future years. Keep up the great work. Justin

There was a lot of flies at the truck with Santa in it which everyone wanted to take photos in so that was a bit gross but short of that it was a very enjoyable experience. My two year old went on their little train ride which was hilarious since she wasn't expecting that and I'm not sure I was either lol. She came back white knuckled and happy so it was fine. Lots of smoke from the fire pit made it hard to really smell any of the trees. It does add a nice touch to the place though and keeps folks warm which is a plus on these cooler December days. Prices on trees were quite fair (they are precut only this and possibly next year for many they have but still worth purchasing) and the one we got was perfect though they didn't trim the bottom as I asked them to do so we had to do that at home which was not anticipated but we got it done. I look forward to coming here next year. I usually go to Calloways and I wanted to find a local smaller, less commercial place to get my trees from and this one fits the bill. Next time I will be asking that they secure our tree since 380 is a nightmare when it's not gridlock traffic and you're trying to go 50mph down a windy road lol.

Ruby Creek Family Farm was the perfect spot. It was only a 20 minute drive from north Fort Worth. You have to sign a waiver at the entrance. For admission, it's $12 per person. Free for 24 months and younger. They take either cash or card. No wait line to get in on a Sunday afternoon for us. The parking is free, and they have a huge lot. It's a short walk from the parking lot to the farm. I love that everything was spaced out from the photo-op areas to the play structures. Let's just say I had a great time making the entire family take cute photos with pumpkins. My son had a blast going up and down the slide. He also enjoyed running on the large jump pad. The live music in the background really set the mood. We didn't pay extra for the hayride. If the kiddos had more stamina, we would have stayed a little longer to look at the farm animals and checkout the food. Overall, we had a great time. PUMPKIN PATCH (2023)…read more Found this little local gem on Yelp. The reviews were older, but we were in the area so we took a gamble and drove over (2023) for the pumpkin patch. For $5 you get to park your car in the adjacent lot and gain admission to their little fair (we had cash, not sure if they accept credit or debit). There were a bunch of pumpkin displays, free hayride, kid activities, vendors selling local goods (knits, clothing, baked goods, soaps, popcorn, honey, etc.), and a haunted maze for $2 admissions within the grounds. Some of the activities require additional cost (like the pumpkin painting for the kids). They have chickens roaming around the property (they usually stay near their little chicken coop in the far back). The free hayride was fun, just a little ride around their property- nothing spectacular. The kids on our tour ride seem to enjoy it :P If you're looking to spend about 40 mins or less at a pumpkin patch, this is the place to go!

I came here because a few of my clients highly recommended Lola's Market to me because of its quality & super friendly customer service. Plus it is local & who doesn't love fresh & local things? She has clear signs before you enter the property to make sure everyone is safe. I love it maybe because I'm a big "sign" person. Haha This is NOT a Zoo, please don't chase her animals & respect her simple & basic rules for not doing so. Just like you want people to respect your own house rules & you don't want people squeezing & chasing your children (well, at least I don't). Pets are not allowed inside so they don't try to chase/fight/eat her chickens for instance. My dog would love to do that, but he didn't as he was kept in the car & enjoyed the beautiful country view from there. :) This is a very stylish country place with a lot love, time & energy spent into it. Everyone with an open mind, respectful attitude & a open heart is welcome. Even if you just want to stop by to say hello. Mona & her animals will be happy to see you. Her deco is cute, but no it is NOT for sale. Most of the cute things there was given to Mona by old friends, customers & her grandmother. We love the fact that she shares it with us & we have the opportunity to admire it. Everything has a story behind & meaning. I highly recommend her place, it is very unique & welcoming. It is too sad that people are entitled & go out of there way to try to damage a person's dream & hard work. Some people have absolutely NO idea what it takes to run a successful business. Ignore the hate & very negative things people have to say. Don't even take my word for it. Go there & check it out for yourself. You'll love it too especially if you have learned how to appreciate the value of simple things in life. Mona, I just want to say thank you very much for you being who you are & for keeping the doors open to serve us fresh & local produce.
