This place is a legitimate piece of American pop culture history, and they do a great job bringing it to life. The guided tour takes you inside the actual ranch house, and it's more immersive than you'd think. The formal dining room with its crystal chandeliers, the bold red kitchen, the grand foyer staircase -- it's all right there, frozen in time like the Ewing family just stepped out for a moment. And yes, they have the room where JR was shot, complete with a chalk outline and crime scene markers. Campy? A little. Fun? Absolutely. Outside, the grounds are beautiful. White fences, open pastures, friendly animals wandering around with the iconic ranch house as the backdrop. There's also JR's silver Lincoln Continental on display in the museum, along with memorabilia and history from the show. Fair warning: this is a deeply generational experience. My older colleagues were absolutely in their element while some of the younger folks in our group needed a little context. But even without being a die-hard Dallas fan, there's enough to see and appreciate that everyone ended up having a good time. Great group outing, unique Dallas experience. If you're in the area, it's absolutely worth a visit.

Growing up in Europe, we watched the show later than audiences in the U.S., but I never missed an episode and absolutely loved following the Ewings' story. So when I had the chance to travel through Texas, visiting Southfork was at the top of my list. The visit exceeded my expectations. The ranch is perfectly set up for visitors - from the guided tour of the house, which is preserved and decorated exactly like it appeared in the show, to all the little details, including the cars the Ewing family used. Our guide gave a fascinating talk about the history of filming, the ranch's rental process, and behind-the-scenes stories that really brought the show to life. We also got to walk around the ranch, see the small horses or ponies, and browse a tiny gift shop. It was amazing to experience in person something I'd watched on TV for so many years - and on the other side of the continent, no less! The whole experience was nostalgic, charming, and genuinely fun. If you love Dallas or just want to see an iconic TV ranch in real life, Southfork is absolutely worth the visit.

Just look at the pictures (taken on Aug-27th, 2022) of this "country club" if that is what you want to call it. I have never seen this golf course so poorly maintained, they blame it on the heat, but other courses around are in good shape. The food is absolutely terrible, the service is incredibly slow, this used to be the place to be back in 2012/2013, Fridays and Saturdays night was great to be with family and friends, the food was great, now is truly a below average overpriced restaurante. Not worth it even if they charged $100 a month.

I know country clubs have snooty reputations associated with them but this one was different. Family-centered but could also be a home away from home for the non parent side of you who wants solo time. This country club has a "Ranch" location that is a bit more casual tone to it and the "Dye" location a mile away. Stonework is fabulous in both with a cozy interior of old world charm. No wonder they organize weddings here. Both sites feature GOLF courses but I was there for the social membership side of things. This allows for a tier pricing option which I feel is still a luxury but sensible. Both sites have a resort like outdoor pool with pool side arrive. Drinks? Appetizers? Meals? They got you covered. The Dye location has an indoor jacuzzi in the women's lounge area and the newly renovated work out area of the Ranch location features squat racks, free weights, cardio and personal training options. Back to Amy...inclement weather made it so I wasn't able to see the property as planned. Amy took time to communicate through video + images to show me the country club. When I was able to guess pass my way for my "recon" visit, I was delighted by her personable demeanor and PRIDE of what she enjoys in the locations. Wine pairing and fancy dinners spoke to the foodie in me. Her persuasion came from her genuine excitement for the beauty of the property. Sadly, my family decided to move in another direction but I wouldn't hesitate to revisit this in the future for a membership or organized event. It's the kind of club your children can grow into even when you become an empty nester. If you aren't a Tiger Woods golfer just yet, consider the social club side of things! Amy will be sure to greet you with a friendly face!

We came in on a Saturday around 3 PM and were seated immediately. Our server, Truman, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and gave us amazing service throughout the entire meal. We started with the guacamole, which was a generous portion and really good. I also loved their homemade salsa and chips. My wife ordered the three enchilada combo, and I had the brisket tacos both were delicious! My kids really enjoyed their quesadillas as well. We finished with the apple pie. It's a nice presentation served on a skillet with ice cream, and it was AMAZING. Definitely a must-get! What really stood out was the service. As we were leaving, my kids wanted to ride the cows, and another waitress named Carolina gave them quarters. She told us she always brings some in case kids want to ride them. Such a small but incredibly thoughtful gesture, and a great example of genuine hospitality. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be back soon. Next time, we're trying the fajitas and chicken verde!

The cashier spoke nicely to Chinese speaking customers, but when I speak English to them, the two staff there got belligerent...say no utensils comes with your togo food. I ask fork and they reply no fork. I ask for spoon amd they respond no spoon. I said that I know how to use chopsticks and they say no chopstick. They told me to go into the main store to buy myself utensils...ridiculous how they treat non Chinese speaking Asians !!! How to improve: Learn to ask customer buying if he/she wants utensils and no discrimination against non-speaking Chinese customers.

Lunch at @99ranchmarket foodcourt Since this was a foodcourt, I will not be rating the Customer Service or Atmosphere, this rating will purely be based on the food we ate. What we ate: Beef Noodle Soup - a solid dish, the beef was tender and flavorful, the noodles were perfectly chewy, the soup was a bit plain; I prefer the spicy soup in Sichuan cuisine over this soup, but I was told that the Taiwanese version of the beef noodle soup is a lot more mellow in flavor, in general. Considering all that, I will give this dish a solid 8 out of 10. Mince Dry Noodles - good flavors, creamy, salty, savory. A solid 8.5.
