Full disclosure on all vehicles before sale would be nice! However, I should have done my own research on this vehicle before buying. Since I purchased this money pit, I have spent close to $60,000 on repairs over the past 3 1/2 yrs of ownership! As I write this review, which is well overdue, the vehicle is once again in the repair shop undergoing repair for a reoccurring issue of failing to pass emissions testing! I had that issue right after I purchased it and they offered to "help" me get it ready to pass. Something told me they already knew what was wrong with the car. I decided not to trust them and took my car to Perimeter Porsche. They got it ready to pass. I've had to do this every year, but this year was much more difficult! Over the past few years, I've practically rebuilt this car, replacing the entire front spoiler assembly, all four axles, a door switch, full service inspection and servicing, etc. This car has failed emissions tests due the fact it was heavily modified, something they didn't bother to make clear at the time of purchase. I'm undoing all of that work to ensure I will have a reliable vehicle that I can actually legally drive on the road. As it was when I purchased it, it was destined to be a "track only" machine due to the lack of material left in the catalytic converters. While visiting Atlanta, my son took me into Team One to look at a Maserati, but I couldn't keep looking at a Panamera. After a couple of test drives, I bought the car and drove it home. Bought an inexpensive vehicle from Matt at Team One. My plan was keep it as a weekend vehicle and fix it up. The check engine light was on and was told it was due to o2 sensor issues, but otherwise the engine was fine. I took it to Autozone and they confirmed the o2 sensor problem. I've swapped these out before so I wasn't concerned. It also needed brakes, a headlight repaired, and other misc minor things but I've fixed these sorts of things before and I wasn't concerned as long as the engine, transmission, and AC was working OK. Drove it home and it started to smoke about 10 miles later and the oil light came on. Come to find it needs 2 valve cover gaskets. Called and got no response back from Matt. I will need to file a complaint against this dealer with the Georgia Clean Air Force. GCAF requires all sellers that compliance with DNR Rule 391-3-20-.18(1) is mandatory. read more

For weeks and weeks I searched the entire country for the perfect Aston Martin DB9 and lo and behold I found it, but with just one catch, it was 2200 miles away in Marietta, Georgia, I live in San Diego, CA so checking it out before I made a decision seemed impossible, that was until I started communicating with Matt Steakley, not only was he easy to talk to by phone or text but he took numerous pictures and video and made me feel like I was there looking at the car, this put me at ease because purchasing cars across the country can be unsettling to say the least and is not something I normally do, my plan was to purchase the car and immediately start driving it back home so I needed it to be solid, not only did they have all of the service records but they even had a second key and remote. I recently just purchase a car from SPENCER. I had nothing but the best customer service ever. I recently bought an S 63 Mercedes and all of the paperwork was done over the phone and the car was shipped through an enclose shipping company. At first I never bought a car out of state in my life. Especially at an independent dealer so I was kinda worry about getting scam butt SPENCER made me feel really at ease. Even though I call him like literally 25 times a day. He was always so nice to me and cheerful. There was never a time that he was upset with me or annoyed by my ass. I even call him on his off day too cause I didn't know . 2006 Maserati Gransport Spyder ZAMEB18A260026381 THIS IS NOT ABOUT AN "AS IS" PURCHASE! BUYER BEWARE I purchased the aforementioned car from Team One specifically Matt Shanahan. To say I am extremely disappointed in the purchase of this car would be an understatement. I did my due diligence and had the car inspected prior to purchase. Matt directed me to Enzo's Automotive Svc for the inspection. Enzo's placed the clutch wear rating at 29% worn. When I got the car home, Ft Lauderdale Maserati put the clutch wear rating at 62% worn. Because of the huge discrepancy I had a third independent check done with the same result of 62% worn. I have copies of all reports if anyone would like to see them. The vehicle inspection I had completed at Ft Lauderdale Maserati reveals that this car needs $10,226.56 of repairs. I emailed a copy of the Ft Lauderdale Maserati inspection to Matt with no response what so ever. The inspection conducted by Enzo's Automotive Svc is completely worthless; again I was directed there by Matt! The convertible top needs new straps as well, not an adjustment to a micro switch or sensor as Matt said. I took the car in to have the convertible straps replaced and when they removed the top they found bungee cords attached to the straps to allow the top to work temporarily for the video Matt sent me prior to purchase showing me the top was in working order! Matt was supposed to send me information on obtaining a second ignition key and the radio code for the radio. He never did. He has ignored my calls and emails. I even gave Matt the opportunity to split the cost of the clutch and top repair evenly and I would handle the remaining repairs. He didn't have the decency to respond. Buyer Beware! Avoid this dealership, unless you want typical used car dealership games and BS. Manager Matt Shanahan is a stereotypical used car salesman and then some. He allowed me to test drive a car with a dead battery, and when it stranded me at a gas station, he stated he was "too busy" to come help get the car back to the dealership. Luckily, I was able to get the friendly station manager to give me a jump. When against my better judgement I elected to proceed further with the vehicle and scheduled a PPI, I called Matt 24 hours before the scheduled inspection and arranged to pick the car up the following morning. That morning, after driving an hour up to the dealership, Matt stated that the car had been sold the prior evening. So, either typical used car salesman games, or the most inconsiderate "businessman" ever. If you want to be treated like garbage, this may be the place for you. read more

Complete misrepresentation of this car, when I had it inspected and the ac didnt work he said "we inspected it in the winter", and then when I asked about the rust that covered the entire underbody of the car he said "it was dirt". And then when I asked about the crack in the CV axle he said "I don't know anything about that". All this after I drove 6 hours to come purchase the car after he had said that it had been passed an inspection from one of their mechanics. I have pictures if anyone wants more proof! This dealership deals primarily with high end luxury sports cars. They have a wide selection of very nice looking vehicles. I ran across their dealership while searching for a BMW convertible I contacted them and worked with Matt on getting the details of the vehicle. He was very accommodating taking specific photos of areas of the car that I wanted to see up close. Since I was from out of state and coming through Atlanta on business I wanted to have a good idea of the car before spending time stopping in. We were able to work out a price and I put down a deposit. When I got the dealership I was able to take the car for a test drive as long as I wanted and it was just as Matt had described. I bought the car and drove it back to WI. I would definitely consider buying from Team One Motorcars again, the only reason I did not give 5 stars is that Matt had promised to assist me in getting an extra key fob at my local dealership, but after two attempts to follow up with him after no response I gave up. read more
